Chapter 126 - What did I do?! - Gary

Gary walked down the corridor, trying to find The Aimes since he'd managed to lose her again. She wasn't even in the art room like Oscar had shown him. Well, even though his information was faulty, he had to admit that Oscar was quite fun to hang out with. Plus, he was glad that he had finally made a friend. They had a lot of similarities since Gary was a bit of a nerd himself. Then he noticed Barry coming the other way down the corridor. He tried to hide between groups of people as he walked, to avoid him. Barry had been really horrible to him ever since he had joined, for seemingly no reason. To start with, he'd guessed that he was under a spell from The Aimes, but then he'd seen how much he blatantly disrespects her and disregards her feelings.

"Sheffield!" Barry called, making Gary realise that he had run into an empty corridor by accident. He stopped and turned to Barry who immediately picked him up by the collar. Gary gasped slightly and before he could ask what he'd done, Barry punched him in the nose, causing him to cry out in pain. "I told you to stay away from Rainbow Aimes! I warned you!" He shouted before punching Gary again and hitting him against the wall.

"I was just trying to prove to her that I wanted to be her friend!" Gary protested as he weakly stood up. Barry kneed him in the stomach and hit him back against the wall. Gary winced badly and held his stomach. He had used to play Virtual Reality karate games with a body suit on. But real pain hurt way more than any video game pain. Barry smacked him against the wall again and Gary fell to the floor, some people had started to gather around them and film the beat down as Barry kicked Gary in the ribs over and over. He felt so pathetic but he was in so much pain that he couldn't even stand. Barry was laughing above him.

"This is what happens to those who bully Rainbow Aimes my girlfriend!" He declared to the surrounding people and gesturing to Gary on the floor. He winced again, starting to wonder why he had ever joined a public school. It was all a lost cause really... maybe his father had been right after all. He would go out to school and then come crawling back with his tail between his legs begging his father to forgive him. It was pathetic. Barry started to kick him again as some people left the area.

"STOP!" A familiar voice yelled as Gary started to blackout from the pain he was in. Barry had hesitated, giving him a chance to catch his breath...
