Chapter 102 - Populars - Gary

Gary got his books out of his locker, he could feel a strange magic sensation in the corridor. The strange part was that he recognised it's feeling but couldn't remember where he'd felt it from. It was a large quantity of magic though. Whoever had expelled that much magic was definitely powerful and way more than him. As he shut his locker it hit a book that was lying on the floor. He read the name of who it belonged to. Rainbow Aimes. He dropped it immediately, scared that Barry might see him holding it and beat him up.

Not letting it distract him from his first day, Gary headed off to his first class, carrying all his books in his arms like a nerd because he forgot to bring a backpack. He walked past a bunch of people and kept a look out for The Girl. There was a bit of a commotion coming from further down the hallway and Gary craned his neck to see what it was. Barry and a bunch of other people were heading down the corridor, Gary tensed upon seeing them. By the fact that people were literally watching them walk down a hallway, Gary guessed that these guys were the popular kids of this school.

Barry walked down the hallway and spotted Gary, he smirked and bumped into him forcefully, causing Gary to drop everything he was holding. Then Barry laughed and made fun of him with the others.

"Shut up Barry! That's just mean!" Someone commented and walked over to Gary. His eyes widened. It was... Her. The Girl. He smiled as she came over. "Sorry..." she mumbled and helped him pick up his belongings.

"It's okay..." he mumbled back and picked up the books she held out to him. Their eyes met momentarily and he saw her eyes widen. She opened her mouth to say something but Barry called her and she closed her mouth and stood up. She walked after them slowly trying to process everything. Gary grinned she remembered him and she was in his year even though she was so short. He couldn't believe he was actually at school with her.
