Rainbow hurried down the corridor, she was late for class again. She was almost there when someone grabbed her arm. She spun round to look at them. It was Barry.
"I don't have time for this Barry! I'm late for class." She huffed. He smirked and tightened his grip on her arm.
"Since when does Rainbow Aimes go to class!" He mocked. She twisted her arm to try and get free, but his grip was too strong. "Skip class with me RB! Live a little!" He persuaded.
She glared at him. "Why do you have to control everything I do?" She asked him but his grip only tightened. She cried out. "Fine! I'll skip class!" She hurriedly responded. He smirked and let her arm go.
"That's what I thought." He replied. She was rubbing her wrist as it pinked from the previous pressure. Her gaze was directly at the floor though. She didn't want him to see her upset. "Are you done?! We need to get to a hiding spot." He pointed out. She nodded and they walked down the corridor, Rainbow following slightly behind Barry.
They ended up in town, Barry had insisted that they should go there. There was a large fountain in the centre of the plaza where people crowded to watch the water flow.
"Hey!" Barry whispered "If you get us some cash I'll get you a milkshake!" He smirked again as she crossed her arms.
"No way! Are you out of your mind? I'm not stealing!" Rainbow cried. Barry rolled his eyes and gave her a look. "Besides if the milkshakes are like the last ones, I'm leaving!" She huffed.
"Firstly, I meant from the fountain not the people." He sighed. Of course she had to freak out like this. "Secondly, if you have spare money to buy a milkshake, be my guest." He taunted knowing that she hardly had enough to pay her family's rent. She looked at the floor. "That's what I thought." He responded. Rainbow looked at the fountain and gulped...
