Chapter 4 - Bad Choices

There is a good reason why crawlers don't take out goblin dens. Almost all dungeons have at least two goblin dens, and they keep each other in check. This prevents a single goblin den from becoming too big and attacking any nearby towns.

Jack knew there was only one way out of one of the goblin dens and he had just collapsed it. The crawler had a lot of paperwork to do.

The next day jack went into town to submit the paperwork he had worked on that night . The goblins would likely discover that the opposing den was gone and begin to expand. But right now Jack needed to stay in town so he could provide his report to the guild. The guild had to know about the den. They would know what to do. The crowd was growing and Jack had to move along.

Jack reached the center of the town and began collecting his wits. He was about to get an earful from guild master Ronald.

Ronald was a man of stature . He was an imposing man . He was large and well built. He had long black hair and a thick beard. In his eyes there was a hint of the steel will of a giant. His face was grim and dark. Ronald was the sort of man that frightened men. But he was great at strategy and his officers backed him up. He was also a good friend of Jack.

Jack did not want to cause any commotion by telling the guild about the situation in his little cemetery, but it was too important to ignore. He knew that they had to investigate immediately. Ronald had sent an officer to investigate the situation.

jack went home that day and ate some plain slime plasma. the next day he would receive some terrible news.
