Kray and Chester stood still at the entrance of Tigwa School of Adventure. Tigwa School of Adventure is the adventurer school found in the town of Tigwa. It is not the most prestigious of school in town but their standard is not something to belittle.
"Here we are, huh?" Chester said,
"Yep... Let's ace the exams." Kray said.
For the past year of Kray's training under the guidance of Ms. Shiela Castle, The Fortress of Florence, it was and could have been considered as hell.
The two discussed on how to properly train unarmed based on what he presented.
Every morning he has to carry a boulder up the mountain 5 times.
Every week he has to punch the tree for a thousand times and be smacked by a stick a hundred times by Ms. Castle with little to no mercy.
Ever day he has to dodge the stick for an hour straight just to increase his agility.
He endured the gruesome training and the pain until he can climb the mountain with a boulder like a walk in a part. He punched the tree so many times that it fell down. He took all blows of the stick until it broke in half. He could already dodge the stick even with his eyes closed. He gained 2 new skill and even increase its level because of the training and he even greatly increased his stats. Though he barely reach the combat level of 10, he feels so confident in presenting his uniqueness.
He took a deep breath and opened his status window.

Looking at his status window, talent and skill window. He sure is satisfied of the result, he may still be unsure but atleast he isn't as talentless as he once was. He is one step closer to being an adventurer of course, you still have a lot to learn but today is the day he will feel like an adventurer.
The two entered the school, went to the registrar and fell in line to register their names. Before you could even qualified to take the entrance exam, one should need to transfer his data in the arcane computer.
"Level 14 in Archery talent. Combat talent. Qualified." The registrar take note of the talent whether they are qualified.
"Next!"
"So many people falling in line huh?" Said Chester.
"Hmm... Level 9 in throwing talent. Ohhh. Close but not qualified." An examiner did not qualified. The examiner had a dark expression knowing he is not qualified.
"I think we can try and reconsider this sir. it is only 1 level, I think he will be qualified if he continue his training." The mother of the examiner tried to reason.
"Ma'am. Rules are rules. Your child is not qualified. He is not qualified. You can still try next year to enroll."
"But that is like a year from now. atleast try reconsidering it." The mother continued reasoning,
"Ma'am, there is nothing that I can do. Just try your luck next year then he will be qualified."
With a defeated look the mother and child walked out of the school.
"That has to be painful." Chester expressed,
"Next."
Next person in line was someone familiar. The moment Chester saw him, he tried to hide his face.
"Isn't that Philip? I never knew he also wants to be an adventurer and why Tigwa School out of all schools. Our luck is just probably laughing at us." Chester muttered,
"I hope we wont be at the same class as him if ever we get enrolled." Kray replied,
"Philip Hammers. Hmm. Ohh. Level 17 in Mace talent that is pretty high for a 14 years ols. Combat talent, qualified. Please proceed to the examiners room."
As if he already know how great of a person he was, with a prideful walk, he looked down at the other enrollees as if they are not on his level. After a few strides, he saw Chester and Kray.
"Well, well, well. Isn't these the two idiots? Hey Kray-Kray to your mama, you are talentless. What are you even doing here? Hoping for a boost in your talent? You are better fit to become a trash taker. Hahahahah." He teased as he walked away to the examiner's room.
Kray didn't mind him but Chester still tried to comfort him.
"Don't mind him, Dude. With a pride and brain like that I don't think he would survive being an adventurer on his own."
After a few enrollees being examined. It is their turn next. Chester went first in the registrar booth.
"Touch the crystal." The registrar ordered,
"Okay."
Chester places his right hand on top of the crystal and with a faint glow of the magic crystal, all his data was then tranfered to the arcane computer.
"Hmm... Level 13 in Lyre talent. Support talent. Qualified." Chester smiled happily, though he already knew he is qualified but hearing those words were something amazing still.
"It's your turn, Kray." Chester said as he stood to the side, waiting for the end results of Kray's qualification.
It is Kray's turn now.
"Next!"
Kray went infront of the registrar booth.
"Oh, if it isn't Kray. How is your mother doing? "
"She is great sir." He replied,
The registrar is pretty familiar of Kray as he was saved by the Fortress of Florence from the tragic chaos, well, it is all over the news 9 years prior. Of course, the Fortress of Florence was a graduate of their prestigious school so their is like a pride and familiarity to the legend. They would always visit her in her abode which is why he is familiar with the child.
"Good. Good." With an expectant eyes, the registrar is excited to see the status of the child of the legend, The Fortress of Florence.
"Place your hand on the magic crystal."
Kray slowly placed his magic crystal and with a faint glow of the crystal, all his data transfered in the arcane computer.
"Kray Box... Hmm... Unarmed... Level 10..." With a look of dissapointment, he looked at Kray then look back at the monitor then looked back at Kray.
"Unarmed Level 10? Hmm... Not qualified." The registrar after a bit of hesitation, said,
"Not QUALIFIED?!" Chester exclaimed from the injustice.
"Sir? But I have a combat talent of level 10. I am pretty much qualified." Kray reasoned,
"Yeahh... But... Unarmed? Seriously?" He questioned
"Yes. I am serious sir." Kray tried reasoning.
"Sir! Do you want me to call The Fortress of Florence here and have you beaten up. My friend here is clearly qualified for the next procedure." Chester angrily blabbered but Kray held him as he smile in a wry due to the embarrasment that Chester is doing, throwing a fit at the man in the booth.
As Chester continued to defend Kray. A gossip was heard from the crowd.
"Oh my ghad. It's Sir Frank Forest." A girl screamed,
"Oh my ghad, he is my idol. I have been training to become a druid myself." another girl added.
"Did you know that he is the principal of the school? My ghad a man of great stature is going to be our principal just imagine the things we could learn." A guy added.
Kray and Chester looked at the side and saw an old man with a long beard and about to become bald with branches growing out of his back. It was Frank Forest. He also occasionally visits Ms. Castle so Kray kinda knows who he is.
"Oh, Kray. I see you also want to enrolled in the alma mater of your mother." Frank said,
"Yes sir." Kray replied,
"Well. Go to the examiner's room now. For all I know, under the guidance of the Fortress of Florence, you may be overqualified." He said,
"Ahh. Sir... About that." The man on the booth interrupted,
"What is it?" He asked,
"That guy is not qualifying my Man here!" Chester exclaimed, Both Frank and the man in the booth looked at him before Frank glances back at the man.
"He is a level 10." The man on the booth said,
"Oh. Isn't he still qualified then?" With a dissapointed look, Frank said trying to still put a face to the child of the Fortress of Florence,
"In unarmed..." The man on the booth said,
"In... unarmed?" He said in astonishment,
"So What if it is unarmed? It is still combat- ohhmm ogggvvm ohhh." Chester continued his ranting when Kray covered his mouth,
'Unarmed... This is new...' Frank thought. No one in history of Florence would even focused in unarmed and yet this guy just did that. Yet, it enticed Frank Forest becuase of its uniqueness. As if seeing something in a different light.
"Qualify him." Frank said to the man,
"But sir..." The man tried to reason,
"He can qualify so he is qualified." Frank replied,
"Yes sir. Mr. Box. You are qualified as told by our esteemed principal. You may now proceed to the examiner's room." The man in the booth said,
"Thanks." Kray said in gratitude. He also gave thanks to Frank for giving him a chance. Kray and Chester walked to where the examiner's room. While Chester is still ranting for the injustice during this time he can hear people gossiping about him.
"Unarmed? Who's that idiot?"
"Quiet man. He is the son of the Fortress of Florence."
"Son of the Fortress of Florence? Such a wasted mentor. She must be dissapointed to have a son to focus in unarmed."
"He is that stupid. My ghad."
"Just imagine having his hands sliced off because he tried blocking a sword with his hands."
Though, Kray and Chester can clearly hear it, they ignored all their gossip. They wouldn't be bothered in such trivial things. All Kray needed to do is to prove himself, anyway, his goal is Will Thread and not prestige or glory.
"Don't be botheres by their hearsay Kray. Let's just prove them wrong." Chester muttered to Kray as they continued walking to the examiner's room.
'This kid... Learning unarmed. Feels like Sheila from before, picking up just a shield. I am kind of excited how he will manage to utilize unarmed.' Frank thought.
"Keep an eye on that kid and monitor his progress closely. I sense something similar happening." He said to the man in the both,
"Yes sir."
Kray and Chester entered the examiner's room.
