It was already now already 24-hours of Xing being kidnaped there was not a single lead about Xing. They have already searched for nearby abandoned areas, factories, warehouses, and every possible area but still they could not find any leads so the search team decided to divide into two different teams and head towards the east and south coast of the city. As city B had a big geographical area it took quite an amount of time to reach there and meet the local search teams. The search team in the south reached around 11.45 P.M where the search team in East reached around 12.10 A.M in their designated areas.
In Xing's apartment.
After buying energy drinks Mr. Tan and Mr. Lu returned back to Xing's apartment.
As midnight was approaching Mr. Tan started to panic and was not able to control his emotions any longer in front of his friend and became restless.
"Try to calm down Xiao, Xing will be alright they will soon find her out" said Mr. Lu in an uncertain tone.
Mr. Tan believed in Buddhism so he started praying for Xing with his beads.
After searching for Xing in the Coast area for nearly 1-hour search team were still unable to have leads about Xing as the coastal area was also huge with the insane downpour, Xing became like a lost needle in the woods for them.
After intense searching team form, the east coast reached near an abandoned warehouse near the seashore.
"Sir this the last abandoned warehouse around this area now." Said one of the officers.
"Keep searching and also while approaching try to make little to no noise as possible as kidnappers might become alert and hurt the girl" Said the head officer.
"Ok sir but it is not sure that the girl is inside the warehouse." said another officer.
"It is safe to be alert than to be sorry so let's move towards the warehouse." Said the head officer.
When the search team was slowly moving toward the warehouse as it was quite away from the road, they have to walk for some distance to reach the warehouse, suddenly big lighting hit the area where the warehouse was located with a loud bang along with the loud thunders with was quite frightening. They all were startled due to sudden events and thought that the downpour will be intensified but after few minutes it gradually stopped raining. They started running toward the warehouse to search for Xing even though they were not sure if Xing was in this warehouse or not.
After reaching the warehouse the downpour already stopped but there was only half part of the warehouse intact while the other half was destroyed by the lighting. By seeing the condition of the warehouse one of the officers commented "Even if there was anyone inside the warehouse, he/she should be quite lucky if they were able to be alive in this condition" in a frightened tone.
"Yeah! It's quite a scene to see here as if there is the shooting of some hunted movie." Said another officer.
"Are you two here to discuss how frightening it is here? Do your work instead of using your mouth otherwise, you two will be sent to the training department in order to make your heart strong again." Said the head officer angrily.
"Sorry Sir" Both of the officers shouted in unison and headed to inspect the warehouse.
When they were searching around the warehouse, they found a girl who was shot in her two vitals nearly for maybe around 40-45 minutes earlier and they also speculated that she was also impacted by the lighting.
They were still quite unsure about the identity of the girl as her face was covered in blood and mud. When they inspected the unconscious girl and checked her pulse her heartbeat was really slow so they immediately called an emergency helicopter ambulance and Xing was sent to the hospital with one of the officers while other police officers stayed back to inspect the warehouse to search for the clues of the kidnapper.
After some time they found a bracelet engraved with word TX and thought it belonged to the girl and brought it along with them to the city area leaving the warehouse as they were not able to find any more clues in the warehouse and they also informed about the details to their superior who is also the friend of Mr. Lu and also told about the bracelet.
