Meanwhile in the waiting room.
"Xiao eats something otherwise you will fall sick. You have not eaten anything since yesterday morning."
"I don't have much of an appetite Haio. We are still not sure if she is Xing or not, I just hope she is really my Xing and everything is alright with her." Said Mr. Tan in a winning voice and again started praying. Right then few officers came in.
"Hello Mr. Tan, I am Head Officer, Xi Han. Were you able to identify the identity of the girl? Is she Ms. Tan?" asked the head office of the search team.
"Hello officer, I am Lu Haio, a friend of Mr. Tan here, he might not be able to reply to your quires so let me. And we are not sure if she is Xing or not as we were not able to see her face because when we reached her, she was already taken to the operation room and they are still there." Said Mr. Lu.
"We think that she is Ms. Tan because we have found this bracelet with the initials TX engraved in there and also later, we found her purse in one of the compartments of the warehouse, though it was little destroyed we found a passport size photo which is of Ms. Tan in there." Said, officer Xi.
Listening to his words Mr. Tan finally got relief as his one and only family member was founded and then again got worried because it had already been 5 hours since they have taken her inside the operation theater. So, he asked the officer "It has been so long that they have taken my daughter inside the operation theater, did she suffer something life-threatening?" in a low and trembling voice.
"Mr. Tan, Ms. Tan was shot 2 times but not in the vital parts of her body which led to excessive blood loss until she was found and also she might have suffered from lighting." Said officer Xi without hiding anything in a soft tone.
"Oh! Here is the bracelet that we have found in the warehouse can you help us to identify if its Ms. Tan or not otherwise it might be of the kidnapper."
Seeing the familiar type of bracelet which was with Xing when he found her, Mr. Tan immediately told officers "it was indeed hers". He did not mind the details of the bracelet as he was not in the perfect mindset to differentiate between the two. If he has given a little bit more attention to the bracelet, he could have known the difference as in Xing's original bracelet, Xing was engraved whereas in this bracelet TX was engraved.
When Mr. Tan admitted that it was Xing's bracelet, he gave it to him and left immediately.
Mr. Lu and Mr. Tan keep waiting in the waiting room as Mr. Lu did not have the heart to leave his friend alone in such a difficult time.
8 A.M in the morning.
They were informed that the operation was successful and the patient was transferred into the ICU ward but they will only be able to meet the patient when she will be transferred to the general ward as she was under observation and was still unconscious.
Hearing the words of medical staff Mr. Tan was a little bit more relieved but was still worried because he was also informed that the first 2 days are really critical for the patient and she is not completely out of danger.
After hearing that even if they were to stay in the hospital, they might not be able to meet Xing.
"Xiao, I know you are worried about Xing but now she is in the best care and what you can do is maintain your health, Xing will get worried if she sees you like this when she wakes up." Said, Mr. Lu
Then he forced Mr. Tan to return to his home as he has not even eaten or slept in the past 24 hours which can be a limit for his body.
He drives Mr. Tan to home and they ordered some light food as Mr. Tan has not eaten anything for more than 24 hours.
Reaching home Mr. Tan went inside the Xing's old room and kept the bracelet safely inside her wardrobe safe compartment.
After having food and forcing Mr. Tan to bed he returned the State police officer to pick up his car and returned his own home to get some extra clothes and informed his wife that he will be staying with Mr. Tan for some days. Later along with Mr. Tan, Mr. Lu also returned to the hospital at around 4 P.M in the evening. But still, Xing has not wakened up.
