Chapter 34 - She was powerful.

Noah's explanation about smoke popped up in her mind when Zoe heard that she had been unconscious since the week. She Hurriedly inquired.  "Big boss, Is he telling the truth. "

Before Noah could respond, Peter answered her. "Do you think the doctor who saved your life is lying to you?"

Zoe looked at Peter carefully, to be honest she was unable to read this person. His tone was soft but she could still feel some coldness behind his words.

Then she stared doubtfully at Noah who was glaring at Peter fiercely. "I would have burned you, if you failed to save her." He sneered.

"Yeah, unfortunately there is no place for..'IF'.."

He replied while looking at Zoe who was gazing  to Noah.

"Big boss!" Zoe pronounced.

Noah removed his heed from Peter and turned her head towards Zoe. He noticed her tone, it was soft and melodious as usual but he could feel a little rage in it. "He is right, it's been a week. However you are perfectly alright. That smoke didn't leave any effect on your body."  He assured her with a calm voice.

"Are you sure my inner organs will not be melted."

Noah shook his head "Don't worry, you are fine now."

Zoe felt relaxed after hearing him. Honestly it would be terrifying if die because her inner organs melted.

"It would have happened a week ago. It was such a wonder, a normal human like you survived. Though, That smoke provided worse and most painful death. Do you know how much it hurts when your body parts start dissolving slowly. It was as painful as burning one's skin or skinning them alive…."

Zoe had already heard the same thing by Noah. When he was decoding about this, it was not fearsome. However, his tone was calming and his words were not weighty. She grabbed her clothes, then she started wondering what Peter just described.

'What if what he had said actually happened to me. What if my organs started melting. Would I really die? Painfully? Alone? I don't even have anyone who would be sad if I die one day. Funny right! Like a Street dog. No I have a lot of money so not a street dog. Then what would it be? Yeah like a wealthy bitch. That's right, I shouldn't have to forget my gender.' she weakly smiled.

"PETER !" Noah yelled. His voice echoed in every corner of the room.

Peter who intended accosting further, he zipped his mouth. He looked at Noah, not only his voice was the bone chilling and his aura turned murderous. No matter how friendly they were, he was still his master. Someone for who he bowed his head and took the oath to follow him.

"If you want to be alive then get out of sight right now." Noah shouted.

Peter didn't make any argument with him. He picked Bella's hand who was shivering. She was at the stage where she could fall down on the ground at any time. He tightly hold her hand then both of them walk out from the room.

"Little hella!"

Zoe woke up from her daydream and stared at him. She was not thinking that time so her eyes were totally blank.

Noah moved close to her. "Don't mind his nonsense. Nothing will happen to you. I will not let anything happen to you."

Zoe grasped the air as she listened to him. He was serious about what he just said. More than that she perceived sincereness in his tone.' 'I will not let anything happen to you.' well this line felt great to hear.' she thought.

She nodded her head.

Afterwards both of them became silent and quietness occupied the room.

"Big boss!" She suddenly remembered something.

"Hmm."

"Why are you keep calling me hella? Why any chance, you like that movie. Thor Ragnarok? As I can recall, Hella didn't play a positive character."

"She was powerful."

"But, She was blinded by bloodthirst. She didn't even care about her own family. She was disparately after to destroy her own home. I'm not that kind of person." Even though some past scenes appeared in her mind. A point of her was started comparing herself to hella. She could not help to stop herself to think that she also destroyed her home. But another point was denying it continuously, making her stop to think like that.
