Luna turned her head upon the Archive Mage. She didn't know how Akiro would react to receiving news like that but it was still bad news as to whose guardian would be so happy when they heard that their relative had caused such a huge ruckus on school.
Moreover, she wanted to slowly lessen her ties from Akiro as the latter was being a shadow of her. Everyone who knew her name would quickly think of the great Honorary Master Mage and forgot about how she did well as a healer class student in this academy.
'For now, I have to do great things that will cover up that name!' Luna thought.
Though what she didn't know was the incident earlier had been marked deep into the people's mind that witnessed the horrifying scene. And the students had gossiped it to everyone in a short amount of time.
'A healer managed to wreck the special classroom that the seniors failed to do so!'
That what was currently the hot topic of most students around the school's vicinity.
Meanwhile, the Archive Mage pulled out a blank paper and started writing with Elder Mage Faust on the side.
"Well, I don't know how your guardian will react but rest assured he is likely to let bygones be bygones. Although he might be called by the higher-ups," he said.
Her face twitched. The Archmage had given her hopes but decided to crush it as soon as he can. Well, Akiro knew how powerful her white flames were so he should be anticipating this to ensue and wouldn't get into a bad mood when his works were interrupted.
'I have seen the great Honorary Master Mage's wrath last time. Everyone and I would not want to be on his bad side. Oh, great master mage, forgive thy sin,' Luna thought.
Though Luna seemed to be half-joking, she saw with her own two eyes how powerful Akiro was that proved how he deserved the special title he only had in the whole Magus Nation.
"And who is this young man? Did another incident also happen among your students? I'm afraid they are starting to be like you, Quinn," Advanced Mage Linois said.
Their teacher shook his head and gazed back at him with a glare.
"You're wrong, Linois, he's also a new student and Lady Luna's team partner. He wanted to go with us here so I just let him be," he spoke.
Blair bowed at him. The mage's brows arched up after seeing his modest attitude. Someone with a golden-tier badge as a new student would have their egos as high as the sky but the two were completely different from what he imagined.
"Oh? So that's it? Then you may go now. I have already archived the scene. I only need to talk with Elder Mage Faust regarding the reparation of the room," he said.
The three of them walked out of the room and Advanced Mage Linois began to lead them to the training area of their class.
While walking, Luna noticed that the mages had some unspoken rules. The ones with equal rank often called themselves by their names only while the one higher would be called as the whole title. Also, the Elder Mage was only calling them 'Mage' with their names. She wondered if it was because he was an old man or his position was higher than them.
It seemed insignificant but Luna continued to observe people's habits as she was like an infant when it came to Vermillion's culture and behavior mainly Magus Nation. She didn't want to offend someone because of some small details and some opportunity would be missed if she let her guard down even for a bit.
Her thoughts were interrupted when they finally reached the training area. Luna sighed in relief after seeing the wide and vast outdoor training area. It didn't have anything that could fly away and disappear. The only things that could be found were the green lush grass on the ground and the students.
'Finally, I don't have to worry about things breaking but I have to mind my white flames as I don't want to create a huge and deep crater on this ground,' she thought.
Who knew if the second person that would look for her would be the head mage of a certain group responsible for maintaining the green grass and clean surroundings of the place.
"You okay?" Blair uttered while wiping his black sharp swords with a white cloth.
Luna hastily nodded while looking at the sharp blades. One could not guess if he was harmless or not.
"Y-yeah, just thinking something about my magic," Luna said.
She thought it was ironic. Blair's aura didn't feel dangerous like the bulky man they encountered on the road. His aura was as calm as a soothing wind without a single storm arising but with his talent and confidence in slashing someone, Luna would not feel shocked if she saw a lingering dangerous aura within him.
She was once again interrupted when Advanced Mage Quinn walked to the two of them after guiding all the old students busy practicing at the sides.
"Lady Luna and Blair, as you are now a team partner, you have to train together. Usually, we will gauge your powers first but you are the first and second winner of this year's single battle event. You two are definitely the right team partner though I believe that most likely, no one will team up with Lady Luna aside from you after this shocking incident." Advanced Mage Linois said without stopping for a moment.
Luna smiled awkwardly while Blair just nodded.
"Anyway, the kind of training isn't just any training you thought of. It must be something related to our lessons. For now, try to practice your magic elements for what I have taught today as it was the first lesson you received from me," Advanced Mage Quinn said.
Both of them nodded. Their teacher walked away after that as he knew that they could figure it out by themselves. Although Luna could see their teacher's curious gaze from time to time even if they hadn't started yet.
'I don't know if getting this Advanced Mage attention is good or not,' Luna thought.
Then she summoned her golden flames which Blair looked in confusion.
"Don't be too confused, Blair. I have to test my pseudo-magic offensive spells with golden flames first before incorporating them with white flames. Try to avoid all the golden flames. Keep in mind that it's supposed to be the white flames," Luna uttered.
"Alright," Blair said.
The two of them began practicing with Luna throwing countless small dense golden flames while Blair avoiding it very fast and using his sword to keep away some golden flames from his body.
"Good work dear students, keep it up!" Advanced Mage Quinn said after seeing the time on the clock. It was already five in the afternoon.
All of them stopped what they were doing and sat on the grass in exhaustion as they watched the sun slowly set behind the now orange-colored clouds.
"What a short but intriguing day," Luna uttered.
