Wow. What an eventful week. I met Hachiman, demoralized sports students, and even met my other parents. I look forward to what Highschool life brings me. Right now though, I want to enjoy my marshmallow dream. It started a year ago when I bought a white body pillow. Now, I understand that the pillow might look like a big marshmallow, but having dreams about it is ridiculous. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it very much. It was like hugging a cloud that hugged you back. Cold, soft, and fluffy was the best way to describe it.
Today was an exception though. First of all, it was warm. Not hot to the point where I'm uncomfortable, but rather a temperature where I feel very drowsy. Second, the softness and the fluffy level were quite low and I didn't mind it. It was the third point in my head that bothered me the most. I wasn't home. I was sleeping in the guest room in Hachiman's place. That either means that I have a pillow on my side with sunlight shining on me or I have another person sleeping next to me. I felt nervous at the thought of that, but I opened my eyes regardless.
Turns out, I was right. There was a human there and she was attached to me as if her life depended on it. I was fine with Komachi cuddling with me for the most part, however, it was morning, and let's just say her lower body was grinding on a part of me that refused to come down today. I know it's a biological thing for males to uh, have morning wood and Komachi was making it worse. Shaking her didn't seem to work and I didn't want to shout, so I gave up and started praying to whatever holy beings that I can think of. God, Jesus, Buddha, Allah, Jade Emperor, Shiva, Yahweh, and others that I can't think of. Help me ward off the sin of lust from my soul, heart, and mind so that I may get rid of the erection that is progressively getting more hard due to my best friend's sister. Thank you.
Slowly peeling off her hand from my upper body, I got up to see Mrs. Hikigaya staring at me with a smile from the small opening of my door.
"This...is not what it looks like," I said quickly. She giggled mischievously and left without saying anything. I could only sigh in exasperation. For letting me sleep in their house for the night, I decided to make breakfast for the Hikigaya household. The first one to come down was Komachi, but there was an awkward moment where she stared at me with a blush and I focused on cooking to not have the conversation. While I'm not the blushing, shy type of virgin guy, the morning situation was something I rather not go through again. Thick skin is only capable of so much.
"Good morning, Koma-Chan. Why don't you get washed up and then wake up Hachi? I'll be done with breakfast soon."
"Okay," she meekly said.
"Wonderful. What else can go wrong today?" I muttered.
During breakfast, it was a bit more silent than usual. I usually don't talk as long as I nothing to talk about. Hachi is naturally quiet. Mrs. and Mr. Hikigaya were silent for their own reason and Komachi was the only outlier. She was abnormally quiet. I knew why, but how is it my problem? She came to my room on her own will. Now she is embarrassed about it? What's next? Is she going to ask me to take responsibility? Of course, Hachi asked me what happened with our eye communication skills and I could only say that I'll explain later.
On the way to school, I told Hachi as to what happened in the morning and he said "oh" as a response. Not what I was expecting, but acceptable nonetheless. I rather not get into a brawl for something I didn't do. That's dumb.
"Well, I'm sure she'll come to you soon so don't worry about it."
"Who's worrying about what?" I replied. "We slept together when we were children and it wasn't weird for me before and it's not weird for me now."
"You...do realize that we're past that age right?"
"So? It's just sleeping. What am I going to do when I'm unconscious?" He sighed.
"I'm going to stop talking. I know I won't win so let me just quit while I'm ahead." At least he understands me so well.
"Don't worry man. I'll explain my thought process at lunch. You'll see the light soon."
His left eye twitched at my words. "Why does it sound like you're about to convert me into a cult member?" I shrugged and continued walking. As I foresaw, everyone at school was wary of me. That's good. At least I won't be bothered by those idiots as much. Unfortunately, there is always one or two that have loose screws. Like the two blondes in front of me.
"Hello. My name is Hayato Hayama. This is Yumiko Miura. I wanted to invite you to some Karaoke after school so that we could get to know each other." Ugh. Disgusting. What the hell is up with that fake thousand-watt smile? Why is the shorter blondie so pissed off? I have never even seen you both until today.
"No thanks." Hachi and I started a conversation about food. Specifically, what Hachi can cook as of now. In America's history, women were expected to do the cooking and such which didn't let us guys understand the joys of it. Stupid stereotypes and gender roles.
Cooking is fun! Food is worth living for and the women from the past didn't even bother introducing it to us. Such a shame. Good thing we were in the modern era because I would probably get very angry if someone made me a meal every day. Sometimes a man wants to make his own you know? Besides, I love it when I get to see others enjoy my cooking. It shows me that my efforts in learning it were worth it. I only wish my family could have a taste of it...
