G. Chapter 41
A screen appeared in front of the three of them. Various games of different categories appeared on the screen. There are many games to choose from the list.
" So what game shall we play ?" Ahi asked as she scrolled through the games list.
" You can choose." Asi turned and said to Hosa.
" You want me to choose?" Hosa smiled and asked Ahi," Can we play snakes and ladders?"
Ahi's hand stopped scrolling the games list. She and her sister looked at Hosa with surprise. She asked," That's an old game. And I don't think many people will play it. Do you want to play that game?"
" Hey, aren't we playing for fun. It's a simple and easy game. We don't need to fight with skills. We can simply enjoy the game." Hosa smiled at them.
" Yeah, we can play for fun. It's not hard." Ahi said after thinking.
" The rules are simple and it's not boring." Asi said.
" Then let's play it." Hosa said.
Ahi immediately searched and chose one of the versions of snakes and ladders recommended by Hosa.
The three of them immediately appeared on a platform. In front of them there are ten rows of steps with ten huge blocks in each row. There are totally a hundred huge glass blocks with each block housing different types of areas. There are many beautiful areas and disgusting areas. Some blocks have scary areas and some have comfortable areas. There is a huge screen behind them to display the situation of every player. People have to play this game without magic energy. They can experience this game as a normal person.
" Wow, it's wonderful. I didn't know a game like this to exist. Why isn't this game famous?" Ahi asked Hosa. By looking at the game design she can say this version is great and they can experience a good time in the game.
" Hey, most people play the snakes and ladders only in the mobile versions when they can't play games in the VR world. And many people in the VR world choose other games to play. So yeah, this version of snakes and ladders isn't very popular. But still there are many people who play this game in the VR world." Hosa said to them.
" It seems you play this game a lot." Ahi asked him.
" Well, I don't usually enter the VR world. But this is the game I play the most in the VR world. I got one of my two coppers in this game." Hosa said to them.
This game is pure luck based. So Hosa plays this game the most in the VR world to see how much his luck increased.
There are millions of people who play this game across the Universe. Even with his high luck there are still games he lost. There are other people who are luckier than him. This motivates him to walk more and increase his luck.
" Yeah, it seems you are pretty confident in your luck." Asi asked him. Actually she couldn't believe the huge amount of luck they had during the task earlier. Everything went too smoothly without any need to put in some effort.
" Of course I am." Hosa said to her.
" Then let's see if you can win against us." Ahi chuckled, " let's start the game.
" I will take the first turn." Asi said and started the game.
A board appeared with a single die on it. Asi took the single die and rolled it on the board.
She started with a two and instantly appeared in the number two block on the first row. The block is normal without anything unusual. It was a grass plain. She smiled at the two of them.
Ahi immediately took the next turn. She got a four and appeared at the number four block. It's also a normal block and Ahi is surrounded by buildings.
Hosa rolled the die. He instantly appeared in the fifth block. The number five block is a normal block and Hosa appeared in space.
Asi rolled the die. She appeared in a hall. She looked around there's nothing in the hall. Suddenly, a rice grain fell on her. She held the grain in her palm. Two grains fell in front of her. As she looked at the two grains, four more grains fell. Then eight more, sixteen, thirty two, sixty four,..etc. Rice grains continued to fall in front of her.
Both Ahi and Hosa looked at her until she was covered in rice till her knees.
Ahi chuckled looking at her sister.
"Sister, quickly roll the dice, otherwise I might submerge in these rice grains." Asi said to her sister.
Ahi rolled the dice and appeared beside Hosa. Her cheeks turned light pink. She grinned at him.
Hosa chuckled and rolled the dice. He appeared in a hall. He was sitting on a chair with a table in front of him. He looked at the paper on the table. Hosa's lips twitched. " Come on, are these guys making fun of me. Why are there math problems on this paper?"
The papers on the table started to increase. A small tower appeared in front of Hosa. Another tower of papers. And another tower of papers. Few more towers of test papers appeared in the hall.
Asi giggled when she heard Hosa. She rolled the dice and appeared in a dark room. She could hear some small sounds around her. She suddenly felt something run over her feet. She shivered and quickly moved her legs. The sounds became louder. She could guess the sounds. Her voice is shaken," mice." Another mouse ran over her feet. The sounds became louder. Asi could feel mices running around her. She jumped around and cried," sister, roll the dice, roll the dice."
Ahi laughed loudly hearing the sounds and her sister shouting. She immediately rolled the dice. She appeared at the bottom of a ladder. A ladder was placed in the empty place and connected the block on the first row to another block on the third row.
" Hahaha." She laughed and started climbing the ladder.
