Chapter 12 - Chapter Twelve: Humans

They were everywhere. No one wanted this, people with white wings began to show up. Claiming that they wanted to help us with our demon issue, humans began to rally guns and whatever else they could get a hold of to help these so-called angels with this battle but everyone knew that this wasn't going to be one easy, two Impossible they had the four horsemen, Lilith. These were powerful demons and were not going down without a fight not a chance in gods green earth.

Camps started to be created with a group of humans and angels at each, Gabriel, Michael, Uriel, Raphael, Selaphiel, Barachiel, Raguel, Azrael, and Ariel. Each one terrifying, but there were nine and they were going against nine demons. No one wanted to go against these guys, if true to Christian lore these were archangels and all-powerful.

"We are here to help you!" Gabriel's voice boomed, bring the crowd to a stunned silence, the other archangels stood proudly next to him their white wings glowing under the sun. The crowd began to murmur mothers held their children close, fathers protecting wives or whoever else.

"WHERE WAS GOD WHEN THEY FIRST ARRIVE!" People began to shout their displeasure at god, the angels. Azreal was the first to shush his brothers and allow us to scream, to cry, to do what we needed to do as we are scared, broken and they knew they were our last hope at survival.

"God did not know of this plan until it had already happened," Azreal was calm to his voice demanded attention. People stared at him, hope shining behind broken eyes. "God sent us to protect you and rid the world of these demons. They will not go easy and are powerful. If they stay too long our fallen brother Lucifer will rise to the earth, but I cannot say if anyone you will survive." a woman hand gripped tighter to her child fearing the loss and the heartbreak.

"THAT IS WHY YOU WILL LISTEN AND YOU MAY JUST SURVIVE THIS!" Uriel quite till now voiced his opinion the threat heavy in his voice.

Our last hope was here and they weren't even sure they would make it.
