Chapter 9 - Chapter Nine: Dire and Wolf

Japan is a beautiful place to arrive at, but to bad that soon everything will be red, such a beautiful crimson red. "Dire, time." Soon I heard the bones of Dire break and shift themselves into the body of a Large wolf the size of a 7ft man, he was black with smoke tendrils coming off of him. In this form he cannot be injured very easily.

We strolled down the streets as people screamed as the shadow wolf began to grab anyone close to him and ripping them to shreds, the sound of teeth ripping through skin was oddly satisfying in a way that made my toes curl and my body shudder. This was the thrill we needed but we can't let it be over so quickly we needed them to have so sort of hope that they can kill us, they can send us back to hell or it would be over too quickly for us to fully enjoy our time here.

"Stop right there you demon filth!" A group of men with guns shouted at us, their legs trembling, the guns kept moving the smell of fear was sweet on the air it was such a captivating aroma that it had my mouth watering, I turn to Dire and it seemed I wasn't the only one that wanted a taste of these men.

My bones began to break and bend, I stood on clawed feet, my teeth like razor blades, claws grew from my finger nails. My red hood never leaving its place on my head, my red eyes peering from under it.

They ran, bad move. Me and Dire sprinted after them grabbing onto ones shoulder as he screamed, the taste of his blood entered my mouth and began to spill down my chin as I tore a chunk of skin and muscle. He had pissed himself, I dropped him and he scrambled away, slowly I walked to him, his blood covering me. I strike at his neck, he still struggled, blood flying everywhere. The passersby stood still in fear the scent too much for me.

He was dead and so were the others Dire does a good job at hunting. As he shifted back to his somewhat human body we look around, the walls of shops and the road we stood on was beautifully crimson. Perfect.
