(Rex goes to Tanchu with his daughter Ivy)
Rex drove off way morning from home with his daughter to Tanchu and visited Nina's parents. He asked Laura to go wait for him at the Hotel reception.
Nina wasn't with her parents, so he called Nina in front of her parents and she said she was home with her mum and they are even cooking in the kitchen so she will call him back. Her mum and dad heard her clear. And were so so surprise how their daughter could be behaving this way.
Rex quickly drove off to the hotel and met Laura.
On getting to the hotel,
Louis's car and Nina's car were both parked at one place.
Rex and Laura waited at the reception as Louis and Nina descend the stair's cases with kisses and soft touches.
To their amazement, Laura and Rex were staring at them right at the spot.
Laura collapsed at the spot and was driven to the hospital where she regained consciousness.
Nina was so comfortable as though nothing happened while Louis was shivering in his boots.
Both families got back home to solve the issues.
When Rex, Nina and Ivy got home, Rex sat calmly in the living room, waiting for Nina, who found it so hard to come inside.
"Daddy, why are you and mommy quiet? And why did Jason's mother faint when she saw mommy and Uncle?"
Ivy had come in.
Dad: Everything is fine Ivy. Don't worry. Go and change your dress okay! Let me get you something to eat alright!
Ivy: Okay Daddy
*Dad goes to the Kitchen to fetch food for Ivy, as he was coming out,
Nina finally walked in, and Rex fixed his eyes on her. Although he had suspected it all along, having got enough evidence now he felt so heartbroken and betrayed. She on the other hand seemed determined to maintain her dignity and said nothing, daring Rex to speak first.
*At Louis residence....*
Louis fell on his knees and held out his hands towards Laura's feet, weeping. Laura kicked his hands away, highly infuriated. Louis, don't you ever touch me!!! Don't you ever! How could you! How could you be this wicked! I trusted you! I loved you! Where did I get it wrong with you! Don't you dare come close to me! You irritate me right now!
*Louis, still on his kneels begging his wife Laura*
Louis: I'm sorry, Laura. I really am. I got carried away... didn't know what came over me!
Laura: Don't give me that, for Christ's sake!! What are you saying? Can you hear yourself out? Jeeeeeeez!!! What a wonder!

That evening, she couldn't get herself to sleep. She had to punish her husband. And a plan began to form in her mind. She picked up her phone and searched for Rex's number...
Rex lay in bed all night, unable to sleep. Beside him, Nina twisted and turned in her own world of agony. Rex recalled the confrontation a few hours earlier.
"How could you!" Rex had yelled at her when she refused to speak.
"I trusted you. How could you, Nina?" How could you do this to me? What is it that I haven't done for you that will push you to do this?
Nina had just stood there, her face expressionless.
"We've had a good marriage, Nina. I constantly gave the chance for us to evaluate the marriage. I kept asking you to let me know if there was anything I was doing wrong. Only a few days back I asked you to forgive me if I had done anything wrong. So, how could you?"
Rex I'm sorry I can't do this right now. I'm sorry," she had said as she burst into tears and walked past him into the bedroom.
Rex had spent the past three hours thinking through the whole marriage; how perfect it had seemed until now. What would make such a wonderful wife like Nina experiment with adultery? Was something actually wrong with him? He was wealthy enough and gave her all she ever asked for. He was there for her and Ivy. He made time for them to go out and have fun once a while. He was sure he satisfied her every need, physical, emotional.... Or...?
He picked up his phone went through WhatsApp. He saw that Laura had sent him three messages about two hours earlier.
"Hello Rex
What's up at your end?
Big mess huh!"
Rex replied.
"Yeah. Really big mess"
Laura was still online. She was typing.
"What are you going to do about it?"
"I don't know. I'm confused. I don't know why she'd do that."
"Same here....
Rex, let's give it some time. I'm sure we're going to figure things out together."
"Sure. Thanks for that. I can sleep now"
"Yeah. You're welcome. Have a good night rest"
"You too."
_Such a nice lady_. Rex smiled.
Rex had been quiet on the issue for almost a week waiting for Nina to come up with an explanation, but she wasn't coming forth.
Whereas Louis had been begging Laura for the past seven days trying to explain what caused it.
Nina has still not recovered from the trauma and anytime she recalls what she saw at the hotel, tears roll down her chicks.
Louis had since rejected Nina's calls for the past six days. But picks on the 7th day.
On phone...
Nina: Hi, you know I'm sorry for all that happened. I'm very sorry for the conduct of my husband, little did I know of the whole scenario.
Louis: Nina I should be the one apologizing here. I've since rejected your calls because I can't stand the shame I've caused u and myself. I barely eat these days. My home is disorganized, my wife is yet to recover from the trauma and it has been hell for me. I've not eaten since morning. I've being begging her all day but all she does is cry. And I can't stand these her cries! I'm so disturbed.
Nina: Hmmmm, my husband has been quiet and calm as tho nothing happened, but I'm not too bothered about that. I want your home to stabilize so u can be happy with your family once again. I can sort myself out. Don't think about me that much.
Louis: Are u sure? U mean he has not said a word for the past six days? It's really strange, he might have a plan. I think u should start apologising to him, he might find a reason to forgive you.
Nina: Louis, I told you not to bother yourself about me that much, I'm fine! I can handle it. Let's see to how you can restore happiness in your home.
Louis : Well, I'll get back to you soon. Let me see to what Laura will eat.
Nina: OK, just keep showing her love and attention it may work. Find a convincing explanation to tell her. Let's see what happens okay.
Louis: I've been trying, but let's see what happens. later then.
*That evening*
Rex: Babe, I'm from the dinning table and there's no food. Can you serve me pls, I'm hungry.
Nina: I'm sick, and since you have refused to know how I'm faring for the past six days how will u know I can't cook?
Well I couldn't cook and I'm hungry as well. I was waiting on you to come so we think of what to eat.
Rex: For real? Nina, upon all that happened that I've kept mute about, you still got the guts to tell me I refused to check up on u??
Should I ask you why you did it before you give me an explanation??
Nina: Rex, what did I do? What did u see me doing? Tell me what explanation you need so I'll give you.
Rex: Nina so you saw nothing wrong with what you did?
Nina: Rex, why should you inform my parents that you saw me with another man. Should you tell my parents whatever goes on in our home? What kind of human being are you?
How did my parents got to know about this?
Rex: You ignored your mum when she tried talking to you about your actions, you told your dad to excuse you when he tried advising you, how will you know how they got to know about your doings?
Is that why you have been unconcerned all this while?
That's what you want to use to defend yourself with right??
Nina: Among the four of us, who on earth would have informed my parents if not you? Are you telling me you didn't tell my parents about this, are you saying you are not the one? Tell me!
Rex: Nina, I didn't call your parents to report on what you did. If you want to know how they knew you should have listened to them.
Nina: Rex, I'm not ready for this right now. I'm not feeling fine and I need some food and rest.
Rex: Well, I don't think we can get food from anywhere by this time. Manage something from the fridge, I'll sort myself out.
