Tower returned to the main camp solely, but he now looked like Mint. He changed into Mint's body before returning to the camp according to his plan.
As soon as he returned, he was greeted with the bronze adventurers that were staying behind to guard the main camp.
Tower took a silver medallion that represented the authority of the silver adventurers and told the guarding bronze adventurers about his mission of bringing supplies back to the three squads.
The medallion was given to Tower by the bronze adventurer of the second squad that gave him the orders.
Tower, who was now Mint, also took the chance to mention the rabbit monster attack during their return journey and that Tower had been killed while protecting him!
The bronze adventurers were skeptical as they had never heard of someone protecting a stranger at the cost of one's own life, but Mint's cousin had high status in the Association, so they could only nod their heads.
Tower spent the night at the main camp, digesting the memories that belonged to Mint. By the time it was morning, he was already done going through the memories and had a clear idea of who Mint was.
He also understood how to operate, and the story behind the magical Bangle that he got from Mint. The Bangle that was able to suppress other's minds was a gift from Mint's cousin to him.
It needed Mint to press both his hands on opposite sides of the Bangle. This was the reason why Mint never wore the bangle on his hand, as it would be inconvenient to press the bangle with both his hands if he wore it on him.
Moreover, the bangle only worked if it was used by Mint himself. Others won't be able to use the treasure even if they got their hands on it. Mint's cousin, who was a mind cultivator, went to large extents to make sure of this. It seems his cousin really loved Mint.
Too bad, the cousin's actions were for naught as Tower could still use the treasure, after all Mint's body was now a part of him.
Tower, with the help from other bronze adventurers packed up the required supplies. With his strength that equalled 9 humans, he easily dragged a cart that contained 5 tons of equipment along with him.
It took Tower the whole morning to get to the three squads. And it was already afternoon when he reached them. After reaching there, Tower looked for the bronze adventurer from the second squad and passed the silver medallion back.
The bronze adventurer was stunned as Tower was still in Mint's form. And Tower had to briefly explain how 'Tower' had died protecting him from the hybrid rabbit monsters.
The bronze adventurer was sad hearing that Tower had died. After all, Tower was a good lad with potential in his eyes, but he soon sighed.
'Being an adventurer comes with its risks! He must have known this from the moment he joined the Association!' The bronze adventurer consoled himself.
"Ok! You return to your position! I will let someone mark Rewot's contributions so that his family would be fairly rewarded."
"Yes, Senior!" Tower put on a sad face and left towards the third squad, as Mint's assignment was with the third squad.
Due to his cousin, the silver adventurers specially assigned Mint to the relatively safer third squad, who took on the weaker monsters. If possible they wanted him to sit out the mission, but that wasn't possible.
The next few days, Tower passed the time in peace. The three squads successfully eradicated the stronger monsters before the 10 km borderline.
The strongest monster they had to face was a Blue Blaze Lion. It was also the only monster in the 10 km borderline that stayed single. All other monsters stayed in packs.
The Blue Blaze Lion was a very strong opponent, 12 of the bronze adventurers were serious injured, while 7 died.
The three silver adventurers were completely exhausted and were devoid of energy by the time everything ended as they had to land the finishing blow on the Blue Blaze Lion as it tried to run away.
The group returned to the main camp to rest that same day, and after three days of rest, they once again started hunting monsters.
A week later, they covered the four directions and had eradicated most monsters from the Hell-Fire Forest.
They immediately left the forest and returned to the Miller City. What came next had nothing to do with them.
The Duke Family, the three Qi cultivation families as well as the higher adventurers were responsible for the upcoming battles.
As soon as they returned, the three squads made a report to the Association and rewards were successful passed two days later. Tower, who was now Mint received 12 Association points.
10 Association points were enough to buy a Body Cleansing Pill which could let one break through the limits and reach the Intermediate Solidification Realm from the Minor Solidification Realm.
There was only a 10% chance that one would advance to the Intermediate Solidification Realm normally, but this pill guaranteed a successful break through.
One could understand how important Association points were just from this.
But Tower did not care about the rich rewards. He instead made his way into the Association building's 7th floor.
Once there, he walked through a familiar route to get to a familiar room. This was the room that the association assigned to Mint's Cousin.
Entering the room, Tower was greeted with a bookshelf that contained some ancient books. Most of these books were on strengthening one's mind.
Mint read these books before, but his talent in Mind cultivation wasn't as good as his cousin and his achievements would be limited on this path. Thus Mint had decisively chosen the Body Strengthening Cultivation instead.
Even then, Mint's mind was a lot stronger than most people since he had practiced various mind strengthening techniques.
The cousin was outside, so Tower leisurely took a book from the bookshelf and started reading it. Though Mint has read them before he could not remember most, so Tower had to read them again.
