Yun sat inside his car and didn't drive even after Yang Lei drove off. He kept thinking about what to do and how to go about it.
He, at least wanted to hear from her. Just to know how she was, where she was and what she was up to.
He hadn't bothered to call her earlier because he knew she was likely not going to take his calls but now, he dialed her number and waited impatiently for it to connect but she didn't take his calls exactly as he had expected.
He thought about what to do and scrolled through his contact list for Mother Mei's number.
It didn't take long before the call connected.
"Hello Moth— Madam Mei." He greeted with a deflated sigh that didn't escape her.
"Hello dear. It's fine. How are you?" She asked curiously.
She was surprised and also excited to see his call. She really wanted to ask questions but gave him a chance to speak first since he had been the one who had called.
