Chapter 32 - Not proper [2]

Jung Chaerin's determination was clearly visible on her face. Her eyes clearly showed how she did not want to do anything other than business with him.

Raising both of his hands up, Jinyoung voiced out, "Alright. My apologies. I wouldn't want to do anything you are opposed to."

Her expression clearly showed how she wasn't convinced by this. Nonetheless, she sat back while her eyes cautiously at them as if trying to figure out all the tricks behind all of them.

Taking the black folder from the table, Jinyoung opened it, and while his back leaned against the couch, he stared at the document. There was a hint of playfulness while he looked at the content, and the corner of his lips were turned upwards.

The atmosphere had grown to become quiet.

At that instant, Chaerin felt a touch upon her hand, and as she turned her head, she noticed how Seyoon placed his palm above her hand. She raised one of her eyebrows at him.

Without saying anything, he smiled at her.

If it was not for the fact that she was being watched at attentively by Shin Taehyun and Han Jaemin, she would have pulled her hand away from Ryu Seyoon. As for Seyoon, she did not understand what game he was trying to play at currently.

Although being touched was something out of her comfort zone, pressing both of her lips into a thin line, she decided to bear through it. The desire to wipe that smile off of his face increased within her each second.

Extending his hand towards table, he picked up a fork, and piercing through the watermelon with it, he brought it over to her mouth. Questioningly, she stared at him.

"Kitten, you must be hungry now. Open your mouth," he vocalised in a sweet tone.

The shock was clearly visible on her face for a second before she made the effort to wipe that off of her. Being called a 'kitten' instantly caused her to shiver, and the shock was replaced by disgust.

As much as she wanted to glare at the man before her, she could only show him a slight smile. Opening her mouth, she accepted the piece of watermelon.

While she chewed on the watermelon, she made sure to glare at him once before turning gaze back to the other male in the room.

The only thing that gave her satisfaction was when she noticed how Shin Taehyun and Han Jaemin clenched their hand into a tight fist.

But that went away soon when she realized the smirk on Jinyoung while he stared at her. This caused her to shudder, and a bad feeling went through her.

Neither did Chaerin consider herself to be weak nor a coward. But faced with Jinyoung, she had the strong urge to run away from him.

It was if she was being played around by him like a puppet. Maybe that wasn't the case, but those dark eyes of his made her feel that way.
