Once upon an endless flow of time, the Great Gods for some reason did held a tournament. It's purpose, was to let one of their creations to join their ranks. To become one of them, a God.
It's probably the biggest tournament of all time composed of billions of Heroes and talented individuals all over the infinite space.
This tournament lasted for hundreds of brutal years full of killings and schemings.
In the end, only five person remained and they once again fought for the title of the number 1 Champion. Their battle lasted for months and destroyed countless of planets and suns during the process before finally, only two of them remained standing.
They are, Arthur Leonard and Sylvia Greenwood. These two have been allies since the start of the tournament and it's been like that for hundreds of years now but.. at this moment, they can only be enemies standing against each other.
Only one of them can become a God and that's final. One of them has to die here.
In strength, Sylvia didn't have any hope of winning against Arthur as he was known as the strongest among all the practitioners of the tournament. The man who excells in almost all aspects especially on things that was related to battles and wars.
Sylvia knows all of these but she's not willing to give up either. She has to get that title no matter what and there's no room for failure. If she cannot take it then, she can only die.
Holding both of their weapons firmly, Arthur and Sylvia stands miles away from each other. This kind of distance was insignificant for them as they can easily cover it in a blink of an eye. They continue staring at each other like that before finally..
Pew!
Both of their figures blurred at the same time before appearing in the middle. Their weapons clashed together.
Bam!
*Rumble* *Rumble*
Boom!
The space around them shatters each time their weapons clashes. Arthur easily deflects most of Sylvia's attack and looking at his nonchalant attitude, he doesn't seem to be taking this battle seriously. Instead, he has a thoughtful expression on his face as if pondering over a serious matter.
" Do you really want to become a God, Lil Sylvia? " asked Arthur as he took a step back to create a distance between them.
Sylvia didn't say anything but only nodded her head seriously. Her eyes are still filled with determination to win this fight despite the unfavorable odds.
Seeing this, Arthur can only sigh as he looked upwards looking at the Gods that are watching them. No matter how he many times he looked at them, he just can't bring himself to want or to wish to be one of them.
What's even special about being one of these guys? he asked himself.
" Then you have to kill me first, Lil Sylvia. Sorry but I don't plan to die here either. I'll put everything in my next attack to end this battle. I hope we will meet again in your next life, Sylvia. " He said, as he started putting all of his remaining power to his weapon, determined to end this fight.
Sylvia also did the same and readied herself.
" Haaaaahhh!!! "
They both shouted at the same time before jumping forward.
Holding her swords firmly, Sylvia thrust it towards Arthur without holding anything back.
In response, Arthur intercept it with his spear that carries almost twice the force than what Sylvia's sword has. The outcome was already determined just by this alone, even to Sylvia. She knows that death was upon her.
Even the Great Gods above are also preparing to congratulate Arthur but..
When the victory was right on his grasp, Arthur did something that surprised not only Sylvia but even the Great Gods above them.
Sylvia's sword miraculously reached Arthur's chest first and like a hot knife against a butter, it easily pierced through his protective barrier without a problem!
" You..!!! " Sylvia was shocked and even tried to pull out her sword but found out that she can't. She looked at Arthur and saw her simply smiling at her, like before. It's the smile that he always showed her when they are together. A smile similar to what a big brother gave to his little sister. It's full of familiar love and care..
" Why? " she asked blankly. "
It only lasted in less than a blink of an eye but Sylvia and the other Great Gods above clearly saw that at that critical moment, Arthur pulled back his attack allowing Sylvia's swords to pierced his chest.
But why??
Why is he doing this?
"Blerg!"
Arthur spat a mouthful of blood as the energy inside his body started to drain. He brushed the blood on the corner of his lips using his hand before looking at Sylvia and smiled.
" Silly girl. There's no way for me to kill my favorite little sister.. " his face paled after he said that, he didn't have that much time left. Arthur reached out his hand and held Sylvia's face. He put his thumb on her perfect lips and caressed it once before saying, " My little sister is very beautiful, become a Great God and live happily for me. Big Brother has to go first... "
Arthur's life finally ended after that. His body slowly falls down but Sylvia caught him before he reached the ground and the two of them slumped on the floor.
The space turned silent. Even the Great Gods above didn't say anything and silently withdraw for now, giving a little time and space for the two champions.
Days, months, years.... passed by.
It was unknown how much time exactly but Sylvia stayed there crying as she hugged Arthur's armor as his body had long disintegrated into light particles.
Sylvia then stood up and with a wave of her hands, the armor disappeared. Only the small transparent bottle that contains a cyan flame remained.
" Thank you, stupid brother. We're not even a real siblings, not even of the same race but you still treated me really well. It's me, Sylvia's blessing to have met you. I love you.. Big Brother Arthur. " despite the bright smile on her face, tears continue flowing from Sylvia's eyes. Her emotions are simply in chaos. Looking at the bottle on her hand, she said, " Let me fulfill your dream, Big Brother Arthur. Till we meet again... "
With that, Sylvia opened the bottle up and released the Cyan flame. She covered it with golden light before opening a space and put it there.. " Have a safe trip, Big Brother Arthur.. " she whispered..

A week has passed by since that morning Lin Ming woke up with Lin Bei Bei but he never saw her again as she never came here.
" That dumb woman, I hope she's fine. " he said while smiling.
Lin Ming never expected that he will meet his first woman like that after coming here. It reeks of 'cliche' smell, like some novels he had read before.
Ring ring ring..
Lin Ming picked up his phone, seeing that it's his butler, and answered it. " How is it, Lin Mu?"
" Everything was done, Young master Ming. I have secured the ownership of that gym you're eyeing. Do you want to visit it now? " said Lin Mu.
" No need, I don't have time yet. Just make sure that everything was on place. Also, help me get more advanced equipments and S-rank fluids. "
" As you ordered, Young master Ming. I'll make sure to search for them. " replied Lin Mu. " By the way, young master Ming, your sister called me again this morning and he's looking for you. If by any chance you want to see h-.. "
" No way. " Lin Ming cut Lin Mu off. " Under no circumstances you'll tell her my location. You understand? Just tell her you don't know where I am. "
Lin Ming's tone was very firm and serious as he said that. Just thinking about that new little sister of his alone was enough to bring him headaches so there's no way for him to want to see her at this moment. Especially now that he had just successfully escaped her grasp.
How can he allow her to mess with him again?
