Chapter 26 - The Viento Triplets....

" WHAT THE HELL!!!! How did they regenerate themselves so fast??? " Kaya exclaimed.

" Kaya!!! We don't need another hell, when we are already in one and besides what makes you think they regenerated themselves when they weren't even destroyed in the first place??? " Nani said matter-of-factly.

" I have to admit though, they sure drank a fair share of Complan before coming for us. " Soham said nervously as the creatures glared at them from outside the barrier.

" Dad!! It's not Complan, it's Horlicks.. Complan only make you taller; Horlicks makes you taller, stronger and sharper. Or atleast that's what the packet says... " Saaransh corrected Soham.

Hearing this none could control their laughter until Surbhi turned out to be a spoil sport.

" You both father-son are incorrigible!!! How can you fool around even at a time like this ??? Also they are not taller, stronger and sharper. They bigger, stronger and angrier than before." Surbhi was both furious and envious of them to be able to find the nerve to crack jokes even when faced with such an adversity. It was her first time seeing such a massive assult.

This sudden thought made her realize that she had a long way to go in order to be a worthy partner of Soham and his unique life.

" Happy Realisation!!! Though I thought you would have it sooner rather than later. But no matter!!! It better late than never.... "

Brother Fernandez prompted which just earned him five threatening glared all around.

" It's the only thing to do right now, darling. Trust me!!! I speak from experience... " Soham said with a flirtatious wink as he tried to diffuse Surbhi's anxiety.

" Soham!!! I appreciate your flirting skills but, I suggest you do that in a more fitting venue after we are done dealing with this mess. " Father Abraham commented after seeing Soham's attempts of ' Diffusing the Anxiety ' , to which even Nani second and left the hopeless crowd to themselves. Moving on, she reached out to the two tiny people who were miles away from the conversation and completely horrified by what laid before them as it was their first time as well.

Nakash was at a complete loss upon seeing his strategy backfired so spectacularly. His confidence was on the of collapsing down to dust and fear began to sprout as he assessed the magnitude of the horror that before his eyes.

The shadow creatures momentarily disappeared under the glaring sunlight and reappeared the second he stopped producing it any further.

Now, the creatures were far more powerful and ferocious than before. It was as if they had somehow absorbed the energy of the sunlight and powered themselves even more.

He was frustrated as his hands were tied down at a time like this.....

Which is why he was so scared!!!

Really scared!!!!

They were unable to find Lia anywhere and that was the source of all the confusion and panic to begin with. Alongside there was also the fact that even when the necklace wasn't in the mansion, they were still under attack. Which according to them indicated that they were not after the necklace but something else entirely.

Nitiya was none better either. She knew what Nakash was thinking and was herself frustrated too, as neither she nor brother could use their best moves. Also Nitiya deduced that because the creatures were attacking even at the absence of the necklace then Saaransh must be right ; all those monster from their previous encounters may have attack the mansion because it's their home.

Tears rolled down their cheeks as they stood on the terrace feeling hopeless and helpless, when gentle hands patted the little heads.

Surprised by the sudden gesture, they turned around to find Father Abraham, looking down at them with a reassuring smile.

He was smiling down on them along with Nani.

" You have done well Nakash but, you can't win this alone nor can you give up trying just yet. For your mother you mustn't give up. " Father comforted them. There was something more to his smile then reassurance. It was a sense care and protection that got him through the barriers of their little hearts.

" That's right!!! This is not something that can be dealt with just power or a witty strategy. You need to understand them and their purpose first that's why we need time Nakash." Even though Nakash respected Nani, her words were still ineffective compared to Father. Bring up their mother now struck the deepest chord of their hearts.

Nakash wiped away his tears giving an understanding nod and created a small glowy bubble-like sphere between his palms. The bubble kept growing bigger and bigger until everyone including him was engulfed by it.

" Wow!!! Now what exactly is this???? "Once securely inside, Kaya let out a surprised yelp as it was her first time experiencing Nakash powers and the more she saw the more she admired the little fellow.

" This is one of Nakash's speciality ' The Time Bubble ' . The time difference between inside and outside the bubble is as much as day and night. Sometimes even worst than that. " Soham proudly bragged. " Which reminded me, what the difference now Nakash??? "

" It's one minute equal to one year. ' Nakash replied obediently.

" Really!!! Does that means you can actually control time?? " Kaya was atonished through and through.

Nakash didn't reply this time and hardly gave a slight nod which was also quite difficult for him at the moment. He simply stood their with his head hung low.

Before Kaya could ask anything further Nani and Father signaled Brother Fernandez to take over the conversation, which Brother readily did by gently crouching down before the children.

Everyone's full attention was on them now.

" Nitiya!!! Nakash!!! Don't blame yourself for this because you have already change the course of events by trying to counter them with sunlight which is something I believe you didn't try back in your vision. So don't waste your breathe on it." Brother spoke with a note of pride." When you are in a war like this, its not necessary that all your strategies will be effective even when you know the future because our future depends on our present and the decisions we make in the present." he continued.

If anyone at the moment truly understood their mental state then it was Brother Fernandez.

After all he has raised them since they were babies not just as a teacher but also as an equivalent parent and he was proud of his little students as they were able to make their decision considering everything that he has inculcated in them since their early ages even at a critical time like this. But, right now something more needs to be taught to them as per the need of the hour.

He was well aware that this battle was no place for children like them however, destiny has decided their fate and threw them admist this horror.

Everything they felt at moment was nothing compared to what they should feel.

Brother's heart pained when he first met the children just after they were born and saw in their eyes the fate they bore. He was truly astound at the almighty. He agreed that with great power their comes great responsibility but, to be subjected to such extreme horror and ruthlessness just because of someone's willfull action.

He wasn't ready to accept it and vowed that he would challenge the heavens for their barbaric partiality and raise the kids in a way that allows them a normal childhood at all cost.

Looking at the two children before him, he could hardly believe the passage of time. It seemed only yesterday when they would cry after falling down whenever they tried to stand up on their still unstable feet. Now, they were taking decision to change the course of the future.

He was proud of them still, somewhere there was a hint of sadness too.

" Listen to me carefully you two!! It's just like Father and your Nani said, neither you nor we can win this situation alone. We have to work as a team and in order to do so, we need you to speak up everything that you have seen and know about the complete scenario. Without that we are powerless against them. "

The twins didn't respond....

" Things don't always seem the way they are especially, when it comes to magic and your mom. " Brother added jokingly as gently wiped away their tears.

They looked up at him in surprise.

" Trust me!!, we know how you feel... We had the same feeling when it was our first time. But, we didn't lose hope. Instead, we put our heads together and fought back which you both also have to do right now." Soham reassured them while keeping an eye outside, at the close to collapsing dome as another beam of energy was slowly making its way. " It's okay if you are wrong, no one is going to blame you for that. "

Encouraged by the words of their teacher and uncle they finally opened up.

" These monsters are made from shadows. I saw them emerging from the shadows, that's why I thought that by using sunlight they would disappear but... " Nakash trailed off.

" But that backfired on us. The sunlight turnout to be food for them and now they are even more powerful than before. " Nitiya completed the statement.

" Other than them begin shadows what else do you know about them??? " Father asked after giving a momentary thought.

" They are controlled by three exactly same looking vampire-like beings. " Nakash replied.

What!!!!!

The adults were stupefied upon hearing this as it provided them with the full gravity of the assult.

And not in pretty way...

" Don't tell me it's the Viento Triplets again. " Soham was the first to recover from the shock.

" You know them Soham!!! " Surbhi asked sensing an abrupt change in her husband's attitude.

" How can I not know those who slaughtered my entire family as well as Lia's. " Soham replied with a bitter sweet laugh. However, his eyes glint, flashing an unusual coldness with a murderous intent.
