Even though they were about to meet still, they had their own loose ends to tie up before they can finally meet.
With hands of fate at work, it wasn't long before opportunities came knocking their doors. Since Lia was it's favorite, she was given the privilege.
Except, neither the opportunity nor the privilege were hardly anything what one would expect in their name.
It was the end of the fifteenth day when Nakash and Nitiya's vision came to life and reality was a far cry then what they estimated.
On that moonless night, the usually melodious mountains were deadly silent. The normally hooting owls and chirping crickets didn't dare to make a sound. All the creatures went into hiding. The temperature dropped lower than usual. A bitting tension shrouded the air. Everyone anxiously waited for what was coming at them.
Everyone except Lia!!!
She had other plans and chose to test herself rather then be a textbook goddess. Her final result was pre-determined for her but, the method she used to achieve that result was hers to choose. More importantly, she would never abandon her soul friend. Her only focus today was to protect that friend and return what original belonged to it.
Contrasting to the tensed vibe on earth, Heaven was rather relaxed and the crystal clear night sky with thousands of stars spread across like little diamonds was it's proof.
A bit too relaxed....
Above the Heaven, in the realm of Seantis, leaders of the Heaven and Hell gathered before Lord Alexuis and Lady Silvia. Lia's lack of preparation for the upcoming battle raised quite a few questions about her eligibity.
" I don't see any reason why we have to entertain a measely human just because she can do some hocus-pocus. She is not even a virgin anymore !!! What can she possible do that we God's can't ???? " Leonis, the God of Leo and the Prince of Heaven spoke in an utterly disgusted tone as he eyed Lia from Seantis with an equally disgusted look.
" Leonis!! Watch your words!! Don't forget you are in the presence of Lord Alexius and Lady Silvia. You can't express yourself so rudely. " Karno, the God of Cancer reprimanded strenly.
" So, does that mean you also doubt Clytia's decision, Karno??? " Lord Alexius asked meaningfully.
" No, my Lord!!! I wouldn't dare to but, I must admit I'm deeply corcerned. After all the Dark Army is no easy feet and Li Lanying hasn't fully recovered yet. She is not strong enough to tackle its force" Karno explained.
" Strong!!! Strength!!! Power!!! Is the ability to pyshically assult your opponent the only measurement of power??? If so then there wouldn't have been the need for Lia to be at the frontlines because I believe we have quite some ' Power ' at our disposal. Am I not correct Leonis??? " Lord Alexius asked with a raised eyebrow.
Thrown into the spotlight with his incapabilities slapped on his face, Leonis was left tounge tied. Enraged with furry at Lord Alexuis's sarcasm, Leonis excused himself and left Seantis.
Silvia and Alexius helplessly watched his retreating figure. They were afraid that if this keeps up, it wouldn't be long before he offends Lia to the point of unforgiveness.
He was threating his own existence.
" So we are to just watch and do nothing to help Li Lanying???? " Bali, the Prince of Hell asked. His concern reflected in his tone.
" Exactly Bali!!! And besides, what can we possibly do other than that. We posses neither the power to change Clytia's words nor understand her thoughts. Our rash actions might cause more harm than good. " Silvia reasoned.
" Why Li Lanying, milady??? "
" Patience Bali!!!! Patience!!!! Time will reveal everything...." Silvia consoled with a fond smile.
Hearing Silvia's words Karno and the rest of the gods helplessly swallowed their words and looked down towards earth were the battle was about to began.

GGGGRRRRHHHH!!!!!
It was little after sun down when ominous cries of the approaching creatures could be heard from the mansion.
Everyone froze in fear upon hearing those cries.
Courage!!! What was that????
They were already in the state of panic as neither Lia nor the rainbow necklace was anywhere to be found since early morning.
Now, the sudden appearance of the creatures complicated things.
Oblivious about the significance of the necklace, Nakash previously suggested that they separate the necklace and place it somewhere away from the mansion where they won't hurt Lia.
At first not nobody was convinced by the idea as the necklace was notoriously known for sticking around with Lia. But when Nakash told them about how he managed to take the necklace with him to the camp, they were willing to give it a shot in order to protect Lia.
However, even after multiple tries the necklace didn't listen to Nakash after Lia woke up.
They feared that Lia might have purposely left the mansion to distract those creatures away from the mansion. But seeing the creatures right in front of their door step really sent their wits into the gutter.
Sensing danger, the magic dome appeared around the mansion protecting it's residents.
Everyone ran up to the terrace and was horrified beyond words at the sight laid before them.
Millions and millions of black silhouettes each with a pair of red eyes surrounded them from all four directions and even those scattered over the starry sky were the same with wings on them.
Emerging from beneath the earth's surface, they closed in on the mansion. Within seconds, they were just outside the barrier and ferociously assulting it with multiple dark spells.
Everything was happening exactly as they saw in their dream.
" Nakash!! Nitiya!!! You said they were after the necklace but, now what's happening??? " Surbhi couldn't help but ask as she looked at the horrifying sight from the terrace.
Nakash didn't reply, infact he wasn't even part of the conversation. He was busy observing the creatures.
As for Nitiya, her thoughts were all over the place....
The necklace wasn't here neither was her mother yet, these creatures came to attack the mansion....
The more she thought about it, the more she found it to be bizarre.
' What does the mansion hold that they are after??? . ' she thought. Something wasn't right but, she couldn't put her finger on it.
" Now is not the time to ask questions Surbhi!!! We have to defend the mansion...." Nani declared.
" But how Nani??? " Kaya who was visible shaken by the scale of the assault asked hopelessly. She couldn't wrap her head around the fact how three kids, two adults and an elder would be able to stand up against an endless battalion.
" Well we don't have the luxury to just sit around. We have to fight back. The barrier isn't going to hold on much longer. " Soham rebuked.
" But Dad!! Nani!!! Nakash saw that none of our powers were effective against them. How can we fight something that has no body??? Our attacks would just flow right through them without---- " Saaransh was helplessly explaining when Nakash suddenly interrupted him with his findings.
" SHADOWS!!!!! They are nothing but shadows!!! " He yelled at the top of his voice with excitement.
Finally!!! They had something solid to work with rather than simply running around like chickens.
BOOOMM!!!!
Right at that moment, a powerful energy beam collided with the barrier causing a huge explosion.
The barrier blocked the beam but suffered critical damage. Multiple cracks appeared on it as result it was now vurnarble.
" Close your eyes NOW !!! "
None knew what came over Nakash as he yelled those words and immediately produced glistening bright sunlight in the middle of late evening.
And to everyone's surprise, it was effective. The creatures began to disappeared under the glaring sunlight. Seeing the results, Nakash powered up his rays causing waves of sunlight to travel beyond the barrier. This caused the creatures to disappear completely.
However, that didn't last even for a full minute...
