Chapter 34 - The Phoenix Returns (3).....

A surge of magical energy shrouded across the entire creation.

The mansion beautifully radiated hues of the rainbow at the darkest hour of the night.

A mesmersing flute melody echoed from deep within the mansion evaporating the shackles of arrogance that were binding the innocents. With each passing second the music only grew louder and louder, wrapping the whole of creation in its tune.

From heart the radiating mansion a tiny white streak of flame, like a twinkling star soared higher and higher into the night sky. Tearing the impenetrable darkness like a piece paper, the flame exploded causing massive waves of magical energy to spread across the creation reviving it to its former glory.

From the depths of the explosion, emerged a divine radiance that illuminated not only every corner of the creation but, also the hearts of those who held faith in its power even at the darkest point of their life while blinding the sight of those who dared to challenge its authority.

Soon, the glistening light transformed into a silhouette.

Large molten gold wings spread across the sky from either side. The outer most feathers of which were layered in hues of the rainbow. Seven long feathered tails desended from the sky forming the most unfanthomly beautiful rainbow that one may have ever seen. And finally, the glowing light shaped itself into a large body made with pure molten gold feathers.

The glaring light then subdued to reavel the being in its true form.

Shell-shocked!!! Thunder struck!!! Spell bound!!! Words like these couldn't even hold a candle as to what the onlookers felt upon seeing who the being really was.

Gracing them from the sky with its presences was a gigantic phoenix unlike any that was ever known to exist.

Rising from its beak, was a single flaming aerial that spread across it's forehead like a blazing crown. It's doe like crystal eyes were an exact replica of the crystal in the Eye of Infinity.

CCCRRRR!!!!

CCCRRRR!!!!

CCCRRRR!!!!!

Suddenly, an ear piercing cry rang out.

From the Heavens to the Hell and even in the heart of the Dark Vortex, it's call rang loud and clear just like the melody of the flute that played the notes of a wagging war.

Both prefectly blended into each other creating the song of the war.

While the ceremonious appearance of the majestic being was sight to behold for the residents of the mansion, it was the starting point of an endless barrage of questions that was about rise in the depths of the Dark Vortex.

Because at the end of the day, when one who remained lost for eons makes such a grandeur return, its bound to cause some upstir. Especially when the one returning was none other than The Great Arcruz.

From the beginning of time only a few were blessed enough to witness the Infinity Being in its true form, those who ever did received eternal peace.

CCCRRRR!!!!!

CCCRRRR!!!!!

CCCRRRR!!!!!

At The Great Arcruz's call Dominic was freed from all the spells that Nakash and Nitiya cast on him then threw him off from the terrace and outside the front gate of the mansion. On the other hand, the same was applied on Nani, Soham and Kaya which uplifted the curse from them restoring their powers back to its original form.

Meanwhile, Dhar and Demetrius froze in mid air. The glaring radiance forbide them from closing in any further then they already have.

Descending from the ashes of the previous explosion, the kids landed on the front yard of the mansion absolutely unharmed along with the fact their wasn't a single trace of their previous exhaustion.

On their tiny faces utter shock was on full display as they tried to process the ongoing events.

"It's The Great Arcruz." Nitiya yelped in astonishment.

" The Great Arcruz!!! " Nitiya's words floored Saaransh as he parroted them back. " You mean ' The Great Arcruz ' . The one you told was the Infinity Being??? " Saaransh was still doubtful as they were having one too many first times.

Even the most priceless treasures were meaningless to the kids without Lia hence, even at such an historical moment they didn't bat an eye before change the topic of their conversation nor did they spared another glance at the majestic being. The being's sudden appearance was only able to startle them for a moment and meant nothing else.

" Yes!!! Which means mommy is back!! "

As if to prove what Nitiya said was true, the flute melody stopped instantly and the main doors of the mansion began to open up. On the cue, The Great Arcruz's call also stopped and he began to circle over the mansion.

Everything suddenly turned pin drop silent.

Everyone was waiting.

By then Kaya managed to bring everyone down from the terrace with her magic and rushed over to the kids. After ensuring that the kids were safe, they turned to the opening doors with bathed breath. Not only them, even the Viento triplets waited because with The Great Arcruz's reappearance tonight, they were now sure then ever that the Eye of Infinity was here somewhere.

While the mansion radiated hues of the rainbow on the outside ; inside everything was engulfed in a glistening white light.

The doors opened wide, allowing rays of white light to escape into the front yard, illuminating it even further.

" Mommy!! Its Mommy!!! " Nitiya, being able to sense her mother's presence rushed back to the mansion followed by Saaransh and Nakash. In no time, the three kids stood before the wide opened doors.

Fast though the kids were, the grown ups weren't that far behind and soon everyone stood at the door waiting anixiously with their escape plan in hand.

At first, they could see nothing except the glistening light. However, before the kids even had a chance to feel disappointed, admist the white light they saw a silhuoette glowing vividly and contrastingly ; approaching towards them step by step.

Smile spread across their little faces as they could immediately tell what or much rather who it was.

Wrapped in the glowing hues of the rainbow, it was indeed Lia.

Or Dahlia to be exact....

Following behind her was Surbhi, Brother Fernandez and Father Abraham. While Surbhi and Brother looked extremely worried and scared to some extent, the elder on the contrary seemed to be enjoying everything with a smile plastered on his face that almost everyone found it to be seriously annoying giving the circumstances.

Reaching up to the door, Lia gracefully crouched before the kids with open arms holding a beautifully crafted long, thin gold flute with exquisite details in her left hand and wearing the notorious necklace.

Now that Lia was right before them, everyone noticed that it wasn't Lia who was actually radiating the rainbow hues but, it was the necklace and for the first time seven years.

Atleast for them.

The twins remained rooted because the woman before them was too much to process and none had the heart to blamed them for that. Even the grown ups were blown off by what appeared before them in the name of Lia.

Lia was still the same with her gentle and caring demeanor but, before she was a souless being with no purpose. It was as if she was living in a void reality. But, the new her had vigor and radiance in her eyes. There was a look of fearlessness and inner peace which spoke of the inner wealth for which the world bowed down at her feet.

There was something truly unwordly about her. Especially her impressive, deep gaze that was hard to ignore and her aura that was both dignified and mysterious.

She exduded a steely determination and an indomitable spirit, something the old Lia seriously lacked and was exceptional because it was the sign of her divine greatness.

Lia's change was huge and drastic. It was as if the Lia who entered the Reamls of Time and the one who returned were two completely different people. Even with that said, they knew well in their hearts that it wasn't such a case. Infact, to them the Lia before them now was the real Lia, who finally returned for the first time in twenty five years.

Yes!!! On that midnight seven years ago, the pheonix was only awakened from her slumber but, tonight was when she finally returned.

Seeing how everyone was stood froze like a bunch of stone statues, Lia chuckled in her heart then pretended to be really sad.

" No hugs for me??? " she asked in a heartbreakingly pitifully voice.

Her words finally snapped everyone around her back into the reality.

The twins didn't waste another second and immediately pounced on her together. At first, Nakash was at little hesitant as he was still feeling ashamed doubting his mother but, with Nitiya's push it didn't effect him much.

" Mommy, We missed you!!! " Nakash spoke in his cute baby voice while hugging and kissing Lia.

"Yeah, you were gone for so long. We were so worried about you. " Nitiya scolded with a pout.

Being told off by her children, Lia felt that she was the child and not the other way around. She hugged them back with all her love. A feeling of warmth spread through her.

From the very beginning, it was God taking care of the world but, today for the first time it was god who was not only taken care off, she was also told off by two little ones.

The feeling of being cared for was priceless.

Mesmerised by the beauty of the mother-children bond, reality seemed far behind for those around them until Saaransh was forced to break it to them.

" Come on everyone!!! We need to get out of here now. " He announced literally pleading to everyone.

Indeed!!!!

Outside the mansion, the Viento triplets were closing in on them at full force.

" Nitiya teleport us all to the Hill Court Island now!! " Nani ordered.

" Nani!!! Do you really believe that running away will solve our problems and not further solidify their suspicion??? "

Nitiya was about to teleport as ordered by Nani when Lia's words held her back in her tracks and threw her in deep thoughts.

Not only Nani, Lia words even left Brother Fernandez, Soham, Kaya and also Surbhi tongue tied.

" But then, how do we fight them back, Auntie??? They are just too strong and won't budge. "

Expressing his genuine concern and helplessness about their current situation Saaransh's innocent words possed forth Lia a billion dollar question.

Lia's approach however was astounding to others in comparison to her old self, her words even more.

Saaransh's words earned him a kind and soft chuckle from Lia. Surprised, he looked her in the eye to find arrays of mischief taunting back at him.

" You can't always fight to get your way, Saaransh. Sometimes, you have to give in.. "
