I used to think I was the most pitiful person on the face of the earth, till I realized... I'm probably not even on earth anymore. Earth never had this kind of magic presence, and I was reborn the most back on earth; to know not even eons ago magic was never this bountiful there.

So here I am running for my life ..along the edge of the Eastern Coast, with Shen beside me.
Crying...
This sucks I'm hungry, it's cold, and occasionally wild spirit beast attack...
I wish I could say I have an unyielding faith, and strong resolve, but at this early in the morning.... I just can't seem to find the motivation to survive let alone train.
"Almost there.. don't slow down." Shen nudges my shoulder encouragingly.
Almost there my butt! Were only half way there! I cry silently in my heart. If I didn't have any spirit energy forget this forty mile run, I wouldn't even last a mile!
We make it to the edge of the cliff ten minutes later.
Shen lets me catch my breath before we start our stretching routine.
"Shen...can I ask you for something you can't say no to... without heavily considering it?"
"No."
"What! I haven't even asked yet."
He chuckles and adjusted my leg correcting my posture, deliberately pushing me deeper into my stretching position.
"What is it?"
I perk up excitedly. "Well you see, Lady Aoi invited cousin and me to her birthday party, near the end of summer and I was wondering if I can go... with Second or Third Brother and Emel and Nae. Pleaseeee. Shhh wait don't answer. Just think about it okay!" I go back to my stretches energetically.
After our stretches Shen usually has a different training regime set up for me each day, and today I'm sparing with Asui.
After two hours and a short rest it's time to spar with him using a new weapon.
He has an understanding of my strengths and weaknesses after I explained some battles I fought and my weapon and spirit level from my previous life; and came up with a training regime to strengthen my combat skills, instead of relying on my spiritual power.
Although I still have to cultivate for an allocated time everyday, and study different cultivating methods for every form of spiritual projection.
He's temporarily forbidden me from using any projection of spirit power unless faced with a situation that's life threatening.
Shen wants me to get the hang of every weapon so when faced with an enemy I know ways to counter attack or know of it's weaknesses to gain the upper hand especially when fighting against someone with a stronger spirit level.
Today I'm fighting with a whip, we fight till the darkened sky around us fades into a light grey.
After explaining some flaws and suggestions he sends me off into the forest.
I walk a few miles into the forest avoiding marks left on trees from previous hunts and explore a new route. I find a section of huge pine trees. I find the tallest one and jump up climbing nearly to the top.
I find a small watering hole to the north so I climb to a lower branch and mark the tree before jumping to the next tree. I draw my whip back and whip it towards a near by tree using it to swing across leaving my mark on the trees in passing.
