The waiter seemed to be taken a back by Calder's words that he cocked his head to the right. Calder reached into his jacket and pulled out the invitation still in it's envelope. "Your Hostess has made me someone of higher ranking, I don't want to be given something that just anyone can have." He said proudly.
Some of the bystanders started to snicker among themselves while others voiced their mocking concerns.
"Really now? Can anyone be that brazen?"
"If I pull out my invite can I act like a king?"
"Watch it be on plain white paper invite?"
"6000 pieces says he's bluffing."
Calder flipped over the envelope and showed off the blood red wax seal, it had finely dusted gold on it making the embossed rose stand out. The waiter smiled brightly as he tossed the tray to the side, the flute cups instantly shattered, spilling the golden liquid all over the floor and some on Calder's shoe.
