Maeve
"I love Zachary," I mutter and look away from him. He seemed to have frozen and stared at me. "He doesn't know. Grandma doesn't know. You are the only one who knows about this." I mutter. "Don't tell him," I added. He nodded and zip his mouth to seal it.
"Maeve!" Zachary startled me as he ran to me. "Let's not call off the wedding." He took my hands and remove the pizza on my right hand throwing it on the box. "Please,"
"I—I didn't call off the wedding," I mutter.
"What you send me was—"
"It's just what I thought will happen." Zachary seemed frustrated. He breathed and kiss my lips. I frown at him. He didn't have any consciousness on him, right? Zachary glare at Warren who just hands up.
"I'm just having lunch with her. What's wrong with that?"
"You are not here to seduce my woman, are you?" He asked with a threatening glare. Warren grinned.
"I am!" he laughed like a child. Zachary was about to hit Warren. But I interrupted. What is this all about?
"Stop bullying Warren," I told him that makes him frowned more. "He's just being nice. And he's your friend. You shouldn't get mad." He took my hands and kissed it more, then he kissed my lips, my nose, and my forehead.
"We got a chopper that Francis let us barrow. He even gifted us a three-day honeymoon to Puerto Princessa. He even gave us accommodation and so on and forth." I can see that he's all excited.
"Puerto Princessa, in Palawan?"
"Yup!"
"Wow, let's go island hopping." I acted all surprised. But I am excited for Puerto Princessa.
"That sounds dirty," Warren noted, and Zachary glare at him again. "You seemed excited about your honeymoon, Zac, while your bride wasn't."
"Stop that, Warren. You are annoying."
"I guess the wedding will be exciting!" Grandma came with people with her. "Here's the spa for the bride and the girls. You need a beauty rest dear, I'm sure that Zachary will tire you."
"He already tired of me last night," I mutter. I took my hand from him.
"I didn't also get asleep last night," Zac told. "Could I have a massage grandma?" he pouted.
"Just don't sleep too long." Zachary, turn me to him, twisting the barstool and kisses me more on the mouth.
"Hey, please! You aren't married yet so stop making out!" Warren scowl and I pushed Zachary.
"Please, enough. You are embarrassing me."
"What's embarrassing on kissing? We will do it a lot more later." He winks. Then he glared at Warren. "You are just jealous, that's why."
The spa is held in one of the guest rooms and my sisters, my mother, and my best friends are there. Since they are also seeking for a job. I will ask Grandma if she could give my best friends a job. Mylee was in agriculture and surely, grandma will ask her to work on the plantation and so on and forth.
Grandma is already close to my mother. My father is also with us for nails and hairstyles and so on and forth. I'm still nervous. There are four hours left before the wedding. The climate is good.
The bridesmaids had two make-up artists and I got one on my own. They didn't put too much; they just make me natural and it's long-lasting. I visit derma every month, grandma told me to, I go with her as well and there's a lot of changes on me, including my skin. It gets fair and dead skins are gone. My scars are gone as well.
"See, she's going to get married first!" my younger sister that was born next after I said aloud. My best friends keep bullying me and my sisters. I only pouted bicker with them. Everything was filmed since grandma said that she wanted to watch each of them.
Grandma embraced me and even give me her precious jewelry for the wedding. She said that she used it at her wedding, and I look like a princess out of fairy tales. Since grandma wanted it to be a fairytale style. A fairy tale on her garden and manor.
Zachary kept calling me as well. But I ignore most of his calls and he calls just to check me out. I don't understand this man. Is he possessive or just worried that I'll call off the wedding?
"I'm nervous." Zachary finally said for this call. It's twenty minutes before the wedding. Everyone is gathered there, and I am still here in my room with grandma and my mother and my mom.
"Just breathe, okay?"
"Breathing." I can even hear that he's breathing. "Damn, would I have to wait for twenty minutes?!"
"I don't freaking understand you." He chuckled.
"I badly wanted to see you."
"Alright, I have a long way to walk. And don't forget to breathe."
"I won't." he murmured something that the signal became static.
"What?"
"Alright, I see you my pixie." I can't help but smile.
"I'll see you, goblin." I hang up.
This is it. My dad talked to me and I still don't feel comfortable. He said that he doesn't understand why it became too soon for me to get married. I just reasoned that this is happening, and I promise him to fulfill our dream house there. Make barriers on our real estate and give him a comfortable living. I also told him that I am in love with the man. I did tell him that. Though it wasn't that complete.
They are taking a video of us as I walk on the pathway of roses. It was a long way to the garden. I can hear the beautiful music for the wedding is playing. Everyone had gone to their places. Everything is beautiful. I saw a few of my friends and my best friends, my sisters. My heart is pounding and my stomach is squeezing. I can see him from afar, my eyes aren't that good from afar, but I know that it was him.
On a white tuxedo. He looked so handsome; he wasn't smiling. He's more nervous. Then until he saw me closer and closer, he gaped, and a smile crept on his lips. It makes me smile as well. I feel like crying. It wasn't his usual playful smile. It was something else.
