They hid for a tense five hours, during which the aliens continued their search, intent on killing them. The chaos outside was unimaginable—aliens were slaughtering zombies, destroying buildings, and firing indiscriminately. The shots left countless zombies lifeless in their wake.
After five grueling hours, the aliens finally vacated the area. Fred, Cassandra, Jane, Michael, Alice, the head of the family, and the lab coach emerged from their hiding spot.
Fred, visibly frustrated, exclaimed, "This s*** has to stop! We need to end this madness! We have to find a solution because this is getting out of hand!"
"But how?" Jane asked, her voice trembling. "We have no experience fighting aliens. How are we supposed to go up against them? What are we going to do?"
The lab coach chimed in, "There's a big research center, a DC, to the south. It's a huge facility. I'm not sure if the scientists there are still alive, but if we can get there, maybe we'll find a solution."
The head of the family hesitated. "But how do we even get there? Sure, the zombies can't kill us, but what about the aliens? What if they come back and finish us off?"
Jane, overwhelmed, broke down. "I think we should just end it ourselves. I'm so tired of this! First, it was the zombies. We haven't even dealt with them, and now there are aliens? I can't take it anymore!"
Cassandra snapped, "Cut the crap, Jane! You don't say stuff like that. We survived the zombies, and we'll survive the aliens too. Why not try searching for solutions online?"
Michael scoffed. "Seriously? Internet? When's the last time you used your phone or laptop? There's no connection anymore! Face it—we're just walking dead, living in a nightmare."
Alice began sobbing uncontrollably. Fred tried to comfort her. "Maybe she's hungry," he suggested. The lab coach rummaged through a cupboard and handed Alice a burger, but she refused to eat, crying even harder.
Cassandra, irritated, shouted, "Will you shut the hell up, kid? You don't want the food? Fine! Do you want water? Let's find some water!"
Alice continued crying. Then they noticed something chilling—the aliens had blocked their way out, silently staring at them.
Fred froze. "I think we're dead meat."
Michael clenched his fists. "We don't have to be afraid of these bitches. We can kill them!"
The aliens moved closer but didn't attack, leaving everyone stunned. Suddenly, another group of aliens appeared—these were green. The green aliens began shooting at the white ones.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Fred and the others sneaked into their van and sped off. Relief washed over them as they realized the van was undamaged.
"Did you see that?" Fred exclaimed. "Aliens fighting each other? That's insane!"
Michael added, "If those bitches want to fight, they should do it on their own planet instead of killing us here!"
As they drove, a crippled zombie blocked their path. When they got closer, they recognized her—it was Juliet. She had turned into a zombie and was stabbed in the belly with a knife.
Cassandra stepped out of the van and approached her as others couldn't because it sad seeing her. Juliet couldn't bite her. Cassandra pulled the knife out of Juliet's belly, noticing a crown engraved on it. She cleaned it, pocketed it, then shot Juliet in the forehead before returning to the van.
The head of the family sighed. "If I'd known, I wouldn't have let her go. I should've stopped her."
Jane reassured him, "Don't blame yourself. You couldn't have forced her to stay either—she was an adult."
As they approached the DC, they were met with a daunting sight—zombies and aliens swarmed the area. They weren't afraid of the zombies, but the aliens made their hearts race.
Fred reasoned, "These aliens are white, not green. Maybe they won't attack us. Let's just get out quietly."
They exited the van, holding hands as they cautiously approached the DC's door. The head of the family trembled with fear. When they reached the door, it was locked.
Michael drew his gun. "I'll shoot it open."
"Don't!" Cassandra whispered urgently. "We can't make noise and attract the aliens!"
"But the door is locked!" Michael argued. "We need to get in."
Fred intervened. "Enough! Keep it quiet!"
The lab coach inspected the door, pressed a button, and it opened. They rushed inside just as the aliens noticed them and started shooting. One bullet hit Cassandra's leg, and she began bleeding heavily.
Inside, they encountered a few zombies. Some were shot, while others were stabbed in the forehead. None managed to attack them. They killed all the zombies but were left exhausted. Cassandra's wound worsened as she winced in pain. The lab coach searched for supplies to treat her.
Suddenly, loud banging came from the door. Everyone froze.
Michael said, "Let's open it and see who it is."
"Don't!" Fred snapped. "We can't risk it. What if it's an alien?"
"Come on," Michael countered. "Aliens wouldn't knock—they'd break it down!"
The head of the family suggested, "There must be a camera. Let's check it first."
They found a CCTV camera and turned it on. Outside, a group of people banged on the door, begging for help as aliens and zombies attacked them.
Fred hesitated. "Should we help them?"
"No!" the head of the family insisted. "Cassandra needs treatment, and we don't even know those people!"
"His right, we can't help anyhow people!" Jane said.
"We are just going to let them die? Come on guys!" Fred couldn't stand see those in help without helping.
Jane walk towards the camera and turned it off, "We can't see them again. Are you fine now?"
Fred shake his head and step one side. The lab coach found a first aid kit and treated Cassandra. Meanwhile, the group searched the DC for anything they could use against the aliens.
Michael found a working computer and accessed files about the aliens. "They can't survive long on this planet because of the weather!" he exclaimed. Excited, they decided to stay in the DC until the aliens were forced to leave.
The head of the family discovered a storage room filled with food, wine, and water. Everyone felt a glimmer of hope.
