Shadows moved within the darkness of the night, swiftly entering a room without making a single sound. After checking to make sure that they were not discovered, They quietly moved to the inner room where the bedroom was situated. Gazing at the figure sleeping ahead of him a sharp glint flashed within his eyes. He signaled to the others and they moved in unison to capture the figure. A flash swiftly flew out and ensured the figure would not wake up.
"Let's go."
Traveling for half the night this group stopped at a scheduled location and allowed the figure they had captured to sit properly as they awaited the rest to catch up. Building a fire they failed to notice the figure shift ever so slightly effectively able to undo the bindings then pretend to continue to be knocked out
Hours later the remaining team showed up, "Are there any injuries? I hope you didn't harm him in any way. He is very important."
"Sir, No but why didn't we just capture her instead? Isn't this redundant?"
"You're questioning my orders?"
"No sir." The man lowered his head as he was abruptly reminded who held the authority here and if one were to question any orders they wouldn't live to see the next day.
"Mmm, Good now leave me and be sure he doesn't escape… We can not lose this chance, without him… She will awaken!"
Glancing back at the figure on the floor, Wu Wei raised a sneer at the corner of his lips. Turning after issuing his orders, entering his tent to finalize his strategy, he knew everything about her except for that one person who he could not find a single bit of information about. It was as if he didn't belong to this world. This was what truly perplexed him. Seeing how close she was with him yet knowing nothing about him.. He was a dangerous variable in his carefully laid out plans.
"Varick… Just who are you and what are you to her? Don't you understand she is mine?"
Sighing with longing once more, Wei gazed at the night sky immersed in his thoughts of the future he has been envisioning for so long.
Once the camp had fallen asleep, a signal was sent to a certain little vixen to alert the rest. "Qing, Alert my sister to stay calm and stay with Varick no matter what. They won't hurt me so don't worry I will catch up. This is their plot to make my sister succumb to that other her. You must make sure that doesn't happen… or this world.. Will die."
"Yes master, but will you really be alright? Can I come help you?"
"No, I need you to protect my sister for me and relay messages this is the only way. Have Xiezhi keep a constant barrier around everyone especially at night."
Cutting off the communication once again he drifted asleep.
The next morning he was abruptly woken up by the group of men bustling about. Wei entered into his eyesight for a brief moment then fleeted away further into the woods. Curiosity of course ran through his mind but he was determined to find out his full plan. Thus he obediently waited to be interrogated so he could delve into the truth of the matter.
Later in the afternoon Wei finally appeared and ordered for his men to take Jun to the next tent.
"So have you told her of who she really is?"
"I barely found out who I am, how am I supposed to tell her anything? Honestly I don't understand what you want with her. She is just a discarded daughter of the royal family. As I am the discarded son, you do know there is a connection between us but do you really know what that connection is?"
"Why don't you enlighten me then?"
"She is my royal sister, My mate, and we are one no matter who comes between us!"
"Impossible! Once she awakens she will be mine nothing can come in between that fact.
"You really don't understand do you?"
Shaking his head he looked on with pity in his eyes at the man before him. This was something that was related to the blood bond there was nothing they could do about it. However because of the unknown variable called Varick he saw a new future in their bloodline. A way to cut the curse that has existed for eons. But what they didn't know nor did they understand was the reason for the mating of the siblings. The reason why their gifts were split. It is the curse that can destroy the universe or help save it. The women of their royal line are born with the minds of two. If the other is awakened and reigns in the body it is all over. There is hope in this… the brother mate. He is the controller of the bloodline and the only one that can hold that monster back.
But then, varick appeared and a bond that was stronger than anything he had ever seen was formed. He hoped that it would cut the curse that is now attempting to run rampant in his sister's body. Something had to end one way or another. He just hoped it would end in happiness instead of destruction. Thinking on this, Jun decided to place his bet on Varick now. 'It is all up to you Varick don't let my trust in you fail!'
"You have no hope to be with my sister. Even if you manage to capture her you will never capture her heart nor can you ever dream of controlling her be it her current self nor the monster that threatens to awaken in this life. So just give it up I won't allow you to gain her in your hands in any sense."
With this Jun promptly shattered the bindings holding him down, gathered his magic and flashed in a split second out of sight of those surrounding him. No matter how they searched he had disappeared.
