The next second he appeared once again behind one of the men who were originally surrounding him. Sending him a fierce blow of power from his palm it struck into the man's heart and it exploded. The next second he was gone once again.
The next second before anyone could come back from the shock of the first kill another man's head exploded spraying blood and flesh onto his comrades who were nearby. And he was once again gone in a flash.
As the men scattered trying to find Jun, they couldn't predict where or when he would appear next. Fear and resentment began to creep into all of the men's hearts. Cold sweat began to roll down their backs as they looked here and there trying to catch a glimpse of the man they once taunted and looked down on. They truly felt he was just so easy to capture so how did things end up this way?
They couldn't fathom it at all as to how this seemingly weak person could now completely dominate them without any chance of refute. Before they could think any further a large gathering of magic energy began to form out of nowhere.
Brilliant splashes of colors collided with each other and flashed across the sky at that moment getting larger and larger within their surroundings. As this was happening an image began to form within the magic field. Slowly it formed into a huge multi colored unicorn. Once the image became solid it charged toward those still left alive.
Each swish of tail, stomp of its hooves, and swing of its horn another person fell dead. Within seconds the only one standing there was Wu Wei, completely and utterly dumbfounded at the scene he had just witnessed. After coming out of his shock he looked out into the distance and saw a lone young man with silver hair flowing freely in the wind. He looked back at him, smirked, and disappeared in a flash. It was unknown where he went to as he did not appear again in front of Wu Wei.
The power that he had witnessed from Jun was entirely out of his expectation, he thought to himself that if the brother held that much power, just how much power did the sister hold?
In truth according to the bloodline of the royal family, though the women were powerful, the only true power was in their other self. Otherwise, the male descendants held the full force of the power. This was to ensure that not only was the queen protected but also to have the power to restrain the other self if it was indeed needed.
Wu Wei was now left without an army to proceed, thinking of this he was furious! His plans for the past twenty years had vanished into dust within mere moments from a single person.

Early in the morning Qing knocked onto Kirin's door lightly, after hearing the affirmation from her she entered the room to issue the report of her missing master. She badly wanted to go to him but she knew that there was no other way. She knew Jun was worried for his sister, she knew the consequences of failing in this would be disastrous.
"I'm glad you are awake. I have something to relay to you from your brother. He was taken in the night by those men that had been tracking you. He said to not go looking for him that he is alright and he will be able to communicate with you through me. Also… he said that… to never leave Varick's side and not allow that other side of you win. He will return soon after he finishes up a few things that he needs to accomplish."
She said this all with her head lowered, she had no idea how Kirin would react. In truth she wanted to leave and she didn't care about any of this at all. All she wanted to be by Jun's side and to be with him. But he was her master and she had to obey him.
Qing didn't understand Jun's obsession with his sister. Why he would go to such lengths to protect her. Even if it cost him his life. She was filled with some semblance of jealousy but she knew that was ridiculous it was his sister.
Nodding her head at Qing's words she turned her face back into Varick's chest and leaned into his embrace once again. Exhaustion filled her entire being and knowing that her brother was ok for now and she had a way to communicate left her feeling as if a great burden had lifted off her chest. She slowly was overcome with sleep once more while Varick encircled his arms around her holding her close. He nodded to Qing and let her leave the room. All that was left was just the two of them once more in this little Inn.
Varick allowed her to use him as a pillow so he didn't disturb her rest. He knew that very soon things would become chaotic once more and the fight of their lives would come once again. But until then, he slowly shifted his gaze towards the sleeping beauty with a gentle smile on his lips.He kissed her crown and watched as her breathing steadied itself in his arms.
"I will always love you Kirin, I will protect you. You can never leave me ever again, not in this lifetime. It took me my entire life to find you and I can no longer live without you." He softly muttered these words into her ears as she slept like a solemn vow to her and the heavens. It was one thing he was sure of in his whole life… that was this little beauty that he held so carefully in his embrace.
Varick would never imagine that one single vow saved the entire universe one day. The turning point later on in the horror that would come was this vow that he swore to keep. It was something nothing could ever change from this point on.
