I went to sleep last night almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. But today I was staring at the ceilings in my room with my bunny beside me. I roll over and cuddles it real tight in fuzzy and all mushy inside. For some strange reason I felt something fluttery in my tummy I never felt and I was in a very good mood. I rub my nose and face against its soft furs and giggles in embarrass then felt so silly. Maybe its the kiss that did this to me. And it goes for over half an hour. I was on my stomach on the bed with my raise legs intertwined together. I wasn't aware of the time until the sound of the pop up notification rings from my cellphone. I dim the brightness of the screen and checks the messages. I was added in a group chat by the class rep who had our numbers taken the other day, asked by our homeroom teacher. Then I noticed that it was almost half past 11. Iam not a night owl but tonight I wasn't feeling myself to sleep.
But I quickly laid my head against the pillow after throwing the cellphone away to the side and tried to immerse myself to sleep. After a couple of minutes I found the large clock ticking in the background very annoying which drove me mad after 5 minutes. I cover my head under the pillow to muffle the sound and whines in frustration. I never felt disturbed before so why today? Then I remember I had a coffee just after the shower. Ugh, damn coffee. Nevertheless I still fight myself to sleep only to grow more restless so I snuggle into my bunny but it wasn't helping any much.
I crawl out of my bed and steps out of my room. I know where this is going and I'm well aware where Iam heading to. I knew the door of his the room was always half closed so I swiftly drip through the room after poking only my head inside first. I toe walk to make sure I wasn't making any sound. If he found me sneaking into his room at this time I would surely be shouted at. Thank God, he was asleep. I crawl up into the bed on my knees and prop my head on the pillow then slip my hand under it and gently shut my eyes to go to sleep. Oddly everytime I sleep next to him I feel leisurely so peaceful.
The next morning I wake up to the sound of someone showering and taping of water droplets. I stretch my arms and yawns smiling then go back to sleep as if I was in my own room. Hold up! If this is my room who is in the washroom? Oh no wait this isn't my room. Shit, how could I forget this. I didn't realize when I felt asleep but it happened real quick and I had a very nice good nap but shit...I planned on leaving at the earliest but I overslept. He's going to gobble me alive!
Just about I make a move the sound of the opening door make me jump back. A figure steps out onto the mat from the shower. I gulp and immediately offered a tight smile. "Uh...um. I...haha how did I come here?" I stammer awkwardly with a gauging anxious laugh. "I...I sleepwalk you see. haha!"
"You can't even lie properly." Aito gave a half smile coming his way to me. "Dont you have to get ready for your class?"
I hit my fist into my left palm as if I remembered something. "Oh.. yes!"
"So?" In a withering look he eyes me but when his stares travel down and settle on my small body for a couple of minutes and glance up, his eyes rapidly blink twice and blushly drift his gazes in immediate awkward as if he was distract by some thought. "Go freshen up."
"Huh?" That's it? He is not mad? Or did he actually believed in my sleepwalking? Why didn't this ever crossed my mind before? This isn't a bad idea! Maybe I can use this in my favour if he ever catch me again. I giggle covering my mouth like a kid and stops in a half way when he catch me in the action and gave a staring look in a faintly amuse gaze and smirks. I immediately stops it and clear my voice before disappearing in a speed dash. "Yeah..Iam going!"
