As soon as Zack returned he saw Edward and Lily fighting on the edge. His anger surged and he shouted " what the hell is going on here". He wanted to reach to her but ground beneath him was so slippery he was tensed even a bit of the mistake could be fatal. As soon as she heard his voice the red haze covering her mind dissipated. She released her grip on his neck and Edward did the same.
Edward went back few paces and Lily started to do the same but a loud creak sounded and ground beneath her started to shake. Zack watched as she lost her balance. He jumped to reach her but she was far from him and he had no choice but to jump with her. His only hope was he would be with her even in the face of tragedy. cocooning her body they both fell down the mountain edge. But a hand caught Zack as he was about to fall to his death.
It was none other than Zen and Zee by this point Edward has run back to his group like a coward to avoid repercussions. Zack was prepared for doom when he failed to notice there were other team mates with them who will not let them die so easily. Zen jumped to catch him with a rope tied to her waist and Zee was controlling the rope end that was tied to a rock. After a while they finally brought them back.
As soon as he controlled his beating heart. He glared at her " is this the place to show your fighting skill, or are you still suicidal". Lily bowed down her head showing her remorse. But Zack was not appeased he pointed to Zen and Zee and continued " do you know what it takes to be on the team. You can't let your anger overrule your judgement. Do you get that soldier Lily".
Zee looked around for other soldiers but they have gone far from their reach. It was apparent that it was impossible to win the challenge. It was not a tough thing for the sisters because they were already trained soldiers of Knight army they were here just as Lily's bodyguard but they never liked to lose to anyone in their life. Specially since young they had suffered because of being weak and looser.
Lily looked at them then at Zack and said while bowing down politely " I apologise for loosing my cool and I am willing for any punishment you all choose for me". Although her words were simple but there was sincerity in her eyes and she would never compromise on her team for any reason was the lesson she carried throughout her life, even when she was tested many times but she will never be the reason for their downfall.
