Next morning a huge car was waiting for me. Mia carried a little bag for me it contained my medical history, some food and water with some change of clothes and a set of documents as was mentioned by the servant that came to inform me about today. Nervously I sat inside the car waiting for my arrival. Mia looked at me and asked " do you understand what I told you before" I gulped and nodded nervously.
Since they took my blood Ella and Mia was trying to find the reason for that. They were my mom's best friend despite being maids daughter. They were taught along with my mom. To assist her in any official matter Ella and Mia assisted my mother as an assistant and helper after her death they could have opted to leave and enjoy free life but they considered me their daughter so protected in anyway they can.
Some day ago I heard Ella slept with Mr Mathews assistant which I didn't understand what that meant but all I knew that it was bad and Ella was crying whole day when she came back. What they found out was Irwin is sick, very sick with some big disease called Lymphoma and for it's treatment they required a bone marrow which was a fluid from my back as Ella explained me. It was a risky procedure and they were planning to force me.
Yesterday whole night they discussed how to save me and also gain some Independence in this house. So, Mia called her friend yesterday she was an intern in same law firm and explained her something. All I had to do was be firm that I will not let them do anything to me unless they sign it for me.
So, when we reached the hospital same man in white coat came and asked me to go with him. My voice was quivering but as explained by Ella and Mia I shook my head. White coat man tried to offer me sweets which were my favorite but I knew if I don't do as planned I had much more to suffer. Finally other people came including Mam and Mr Mathew. They shook me hard forcing me to accept their decision. Mam's face was vicious and she kept holding me tightly while digging her nails in my hand it was painful but I was already prepared for it by Ella and Mia.
Finally white coat man asked me what did I want to be agreeable to their procedure . I looked at Mia and she took a paper I took it and placed it in front of Mr Mathew my hands were shaking so hard but I kept repeating in my head " Meadow, your mom would have wanted you to do this, you can't disappoint Ella and Mia especially when Ella cried so bad just for you".
When Mr Mathew took it his veins in his head was bulging. Demand that I put in that contract made by Mia's friend were that I get the hut in my name and I would be allowed to go to school and my tuition fee to be paid by Hawthorne family and all my freedom to make decisions will go to Ella and Mia's hands .Mr Mathew after reading it slapped me on the cheek so hard I fell down and blood came pouring down my lips. It hurt so bad but I stood up in front of him looked up in his eyes and again presented the contract. With a grunt he signed it. Finally for the first time I got a taste of victory and I smiled bright and followed doctors for bone marrow transplant while Mia authorized the documents.
