As Thomas and Yuna sat on a bench Yuna stared off into the night sky and said "It looks beautiful." As she said this Thomas glanced up into the sky and said "It's a nice starry sky tonight, no clouds to get in the way of the view." Yuna glanced at him with a smile and said "I wonder what other things this human realm has." Thomas glanced at her and said "I've only been in a dimension like this once, but I guess I know my way around so it shouldn't be much of an issue." Yuna glanced back up at the sky and asked "So what are you gonna spend the green paper the humans call money?" Thomas pulled it out of his pocket and said "This will probably go towards food." Yuna stared at it and asked "Is human food good?" Thomas stared at her and said "It's the same as any other food." Yuna nodded and said "I guess that's true, but I still wonder what it'll taste like."
Thomas yawned while looking up into the sky and said "We'll find a place to eat at tomorrow, right now we should get some sleep." Yuna continued to stare up into the sky as she said "I'm gonna stay up a while longer, but you can go ahead and sleep if you'd like." Thomas leaned his head backwards hanging off of the bench and slowly began to close his eyes as he said "Wake me if you need anything." Yuna just smiled and watched as she said "Mortals sure are interesting, the ways they do things are so different." Yuna continued to stare off into the sky as she smirked and said "I wonder if he'd be mad if I tried to do something I've only ever heard of." Yuna glanced towards him and began to get closer as she said "Maybe it would be best if I did it while he was asleep." Yuna put her hand on his chin and tilted his head forward as she smirked and said "I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
As Thomas opened his eyes he found himself staring up at the sky, with something blocking his view. Thomas sat up and held his head as he mumbled "Somethings not right." Yuna stared at him and quickly said "I'm sorry if what I did displeased you, I was originally gonna move you back, please don't hate me for it." Thomas glanced at her and said "Don't worry about it, it didn't cause me any trouble so it doesn't really matter." Thomas continued to hold his head as he mumbled "This pain... it's getting more and more unbearable." As Yuna kept apologizing Thomas closed his eyes and mumbled "Somethings missing... not something... it's Poppy." Thomas opened his eyes and mumbled "Poppy is gone?" Thomas glanced around and mumbled "This pain is because she's not here."
Thomas stood up and mumbled "If she's not here to lessen my emotions, then I'll be here feeling all of my regret a thousand times more then what I would've when she was around." Yuna stood up beside him and asked "So where are we gonna go?" Thomas glanced at her while holding his head and said "You can go where you want, I'll find you later, right now I have to look for something else." As a strange creature crawled out of the bushes it spoke and said "Mortal, your mind now belongs to me, and I demand that you kill everyone and anyone you encounter." Thomas glared at the creature with a murderous look and said "So it was you." The creature began to grow as he said "Yes, your new master, now do as I say and start killing people." Yuna stared at the creature and nervously said "That's the demon beast I heard rumors of the other gods accidentally releasing here."
Yuna pulled on Thomas's arm and said "We need to go now, before it kills us." Thomas continued to stand there as the demon beast laughed and said "He's already under my control, soon he'll be doing exactly what I want him to, and I'll make sure your the first one he kills." As the creature stood there staring at Thomas the creature began to slowly back up and grow in size at it nervously said "Somethings not right, his aura... it's... hostile... but all that hostility... it's all aimed at me." The creature continued to grow to the size of some of the building as it said "To be able to resist me, even after capturing his mind." Thomas glanced up at the creature with a red and green eye as he shouted "Give her back." Yuna stared at his face and asked herself "Where did he just get all of this power, I'm certain he didn't have it a few minutes ago."
As Thomas vanished the creature took thousands of blows all across its body. Once the creature felt each hit it glanced around for Thomas and shouted "You insolent little... show yourself!" The creature spotted Thomas on a building quite far away as it smirked and said "Try that again, I guarantee it won't work twice." The creature sent out dozens of red arrow like beams from its back that stayed connected as they moved towards Thomas as the creature laughed and shouted "I'll take out this whole block and all the people in it with you included!" Thomas raised his hand in front of himself and shouted "Give her back!" As all of the beams exploded in the air the creature leapt back and said "He stopped them all, impossible!" As Thomas looked up at him the eye that was green also changed red as he mumbled "This pain, is getting even more unbearable."
Thomas appeared in front of the creatures head and knocked it into the sky with a single punch as he mumbled "Not good." As Thomas fell in a dark room he said "My emotions are controlling me right now, my mind has no need for hesitation right now, so it's leaving me here until it's done." As the physical Thomas knocked the creature back down onto the park destroying it the creature shouted "Fine then, I'll use all of my physical power and energy to defeat you with my next attack." The creature opened its mouth wide and began to charge something from its mouth. Thomas stood across from it on the ground as he said "Return Poppy to me." As a massive beam shot from the creatures mouth Thomas stuck his hand out and reflected it upwards as he said "Give her back or I'll kill you."
As the creature heard him utter these words it backed away and said "Hold on, we can negotiate, I'll try to help you with what you want if you spare my life." As Thomas took another step forward the creature felt it's death before it could even happen. The creature felt despair as Thomas appeared in front of it with both eyes bright red and a simple water pulse blasting a massive hole through its stomach followed by three more through the rest of its body and then being barraged by multiple combustion spells all over its body." Thomas then stood with his back facing towards the creature as he mumbled "This pain." As Thomas continued to fall in that dark place a bright figure came towards him with their arms out. Thomas stared at the figure, and as it came closer Thomas could see figure more and more clearly, until he was finally able to see Poppy."
Poppy grabbed ahold of him and held him closely as she said "Thank you for saving me, I'll make this pain go away again." Thomas stared at her and said "I managed to get you back from the demon beast?" Poppy nodded and said "He took me away, it's something I've never considered before, I'll set some counter measures up to prevent the pain you felt next time, I'll also see if I can set up a few things that prevent me from being stolen." Poppy smiled and said "Now you should get back to what you were doing." As Thomas found himself holding his head in a destroyed park he glanced around and asked "What happened?" As Yuna ran up to him she asked "Are you alright?" Thomas lowered his hands and said "Yeah I'm fine." Yuna smiled and shouted "That was so cool!"
Thomas stared at his hand and said "My mana is near full?" Thomas glanced at Yuna and said "We can leave now." Yuna grabbed his arm and said "Not yet, I still wanna go sight seeing." As she drug him off Thomas stared at the destroyed park and said "All I can remember is holding my head and telling that demon beast to give Poppy back, besides that I can't remember what happened." Yuna stopped outside of a restaurant and said "This is the place." Thomas stared at it and said "I did say we were gonna find a restaurant first thing in the morning." Yuna entered the restaurant and said "This is the only place I wanna go to, I really wanna try human made food." As Thomas entered behind her he said "I just hope they don't have any issues with my tail here."
