As Thomas and Emera walked around the Gods' plaza Thomas said "So how long is this holy sword gonna take?" Emera stared at him and said "It depends on how much holy power and features they're gonna put into it." Emera thought for a moment and said "I'd give it a few days at most." Thomas yawned and said "Then I got time to nap." Emera stared at him and said "I wouldn't recommend doing that out in the open, if one of the trickster gods find you they'll likely try to pull something." Emera glanced around then leaned in to whisper "Or even worse, one of the evil gods, or a god of chaos." Thomas stared at her and said "Sounds like there are a lot of not so nice gods here." Emera sighed and said "You don't know the half of it." Thomas glanced at her and asked "Does that mean there is a good prison?" Emera shook her head and said "No, there isn't one."
Emera stared at him and said "If you'd like to sleep I have my own island away from the plaza." Thomas glanced at her and said "Sure, that works for me." Emera pointed into a direction and said "My island is that way, unfortunately we're gonna have to walk there." Thomas glanced at her and asked "Why don't you just teleport us?" Emera sighed and said "We are unable to unless summoned into another world, allowed by a higher power, or forced to when threatened or needed." Thomas stared at her and said "So if I were to attempt to punch you right now you'd gain your power back?" Emera stared at him and said "If you try that I'll kill you." As Emera began to walk off Thomas said "It was just a question, I wasn't actually gonna do it." Thomas began to follow Emera as he said "I'm serious, I wasn't gonna attack you." Emera glanced back at him and said "I have a hard time believing that."
As the two of them arrived to a bridge linking some of the islands Thomas peered off into the bottomless pit beneath them and asked "Have any gods ever accidentally fallen off?" Emera nodded and said "Yes, a god of mistakes fell off not too long ago." Thomas glanced at Emera and asked "Is she still down there?" Emera nodded and said "She'll likely fall for all eternity, since we have no way of actually helping her." As they crossed the bridge Thomas asked "Have you ever tried building a really long ladder to get down there." Emera nodded and said "Some of the carpenter gods have tried it, however the ladder they've been working on still isn't even close to long enough." As they walked Thomas heard a faint voice that said "Help me, I can't stop falling." Thomas froze and asked "Did you hear that?"
Emera glanced at him and said "Hear what?" Thomas walked towards the edge and said "Someone said help me." Emera shook her head and said "No, I didn't hear it, and I'm certain your just paranoid." Thomas stood at the ledge for a few moments before hearing the voice once more repeating the same thing. Thomas turned around and said "Emera I'm about to do something stupid." Emera stared at him and asked "What god are you about to try and fight?" Thomas leaned back and began to fall into the bottomless pit as he said "I'll be back in a bit." Emera began to panic as she stuck her hand out trying to reach him while shouting "What the hell are you doing!" As Thomas fell he shouted "Like I said, something stupid!" Emera glanced around and said "They're gonna banish me for sure now, I was just supposed to watch him and he went and did this."
Thomas sat cross legged while falling and said "This might be a while." Thomas stared up and said "I can't see the floating islands anymore." Thomas glanced beneath himself and said "Not seeing the bottom is kinda expected, I mean, it is called bottomless." Thomas continued to fall as he mumbled "Maybe I should take a nap while I fall?" Thomas nodded and said "Yup, that sounds good to me." Thomas leaned back and used his hands as a pillow as he yawned and said "Goodnight." As he slept he continued to fall until he hit another person. Thomas opened his eyes startled and said "Emera?" As he stared at a girl in front of him also faking he said "Your not Emera?" The girl stared at him with a cheerful look and said "You must've also fallen off the islands." Thomas nodded and said "Sort of."
The girl smiled and said "It's been a while since I've been able to talk to anyone." Thomas stared at her and said "I only fell off a few hours ago, didn't I?" The girl stared at him and said "This place works differently then most places, I've figured that out after trying to get out for a while, I noticed that no matter how long someone falls they'll always eventually end up seeing someone else." Thomas stared at her and asked "Does that mean I could've been falling in this same space repeatedly?" The girl nodded and said "Yes, but now that we've found each other we can hold onto each other so we don't get separated." Thomas stared at her hand and asked "Is that why you've been clutching my wrist?" The girl nodded and said "Yes but the way your sitting is kinda making it difficult."
Thomas stared beneath himself and said "So have you found a way to stop it yet?" The girl shook her head and said "No, I haven't," the girl sat there quietly for a few moments and then said "Well I guess we should do introductions, I'm Yuna, the god of mistakes." Thomas glanced at her and said "I'm Thomas, I'm just your typical demi human." Yuna smiled and said "I can already tell we're going to get along great." As they fell Yuna asked "So do you have any good stories to tell?" Thomas shrugged and said "I guess I have a few." Yuna stared at him excitedly and said "You should tell me some of them." As Thomas ignored her Yuna smiled and said "If you don't feel comfortable sharing your stories I can share some of mine." Thomas glanced at her for a moment and said "Do me a favor and stay quiet for a second, I'm trying to think."
Yuna sighed and said "Okay, but after can you tell me if you fell off like me or got thrown in here." Thomas continued to think as he said "I jumped in here on my own." Yuna stared at him with a surprised look and said "And here I thought I was stupid." Thomas held his hand beneath them and said "Alright, I'm done thinking and I'm pretty sure this will work." As a door opened beneath them Thomas smiled and shouted "We're getting out of here!" As Thomas and Yuna landed in an ocean Thomas shouted "My tail is gonna get soaked!" Thomas swam to the top of the ocean and mumbled "My tail is soaked." Thomas glanced around and said "Yuna?" Thomas glanced beneath himself and shouted "She can't swim!" Thomas dived under the water and said "Dammit, what kind of god can't swim." Thomas grabbed Yuna's wrist and swam to the top of the ocean with her as he said "Breathing underwater is pretty useful."
As they reached the top of the ocean Yuna began to cough up water while saying "You should've given me a warning." Thomas glanced at her and said "How was I supposed to know you couldn't swim?" Yuna wrapped her arms around his neck and stuck to his back as she said "Just forget about it, you managed to get us both out of that endless fall, so thanks." Thomas glanced at her and said "Yeah don't mention it." As Thomas swam to the shore he said "Just hold on for a while, we'll arrive on the shore in a while." As they arrived on the shore Thomas mumbled "My mana's been running low, I won't be able to get us back to that god dimension for a while." Yuna stood on the sand and said "It's been like, forever since I felt the ground." Thomas glanced at her feet and asked "Where are your shoes?"
Yuna stared at her feet and said "Oh right, I threw them beneath me in the void, that's how I found out it was a loop." Thomas sighed and said "We're gonna be here a while, I hope you don't mind." Yuna smiled and said "Of course I wouldn't mind, this place is already a thousand times better then falling forever!" Thomas began to walk off as he said "That's a relief to hear." Yuna began to follow him as she excitedly said "I get to experience what being a human is like, this is going to be exciting." Thomas glanced at her and said "We don't even know what this dimension is like, I just jumped to the closest one to save myself at least some mana." Yuna smiled and said "Thats fine, we'll just explore this place for ourselves!" As they reached the top of a hill Thomas glanced around and said "This place looks kinda similar to the dimension I met Kate in."
