As Thomas opened his eyes he mumbled "These shitty memories are back." Thomas glanced at the creature and said "I can sense Opal." As he vanished and reappeared in front of the creature that was still bashing at the planet he said "It's still holding back a lot." The creature glanced at Thomas and let out a massive roar that destroyed the ground around him as he asked "Is Opal the creature?" Thomas stared at it for a few more seconds and said "I guess it's always a possibility, but how did she end up like this?" The creature raised its hands above itself and swung at Thomas who was standing beneath it, further destroying the ground and pummeling Thomas. As the creature continued to punch Thomas he said "If this thing really is Opal, then I can't just attack it head on, I have to think of a way to get her back."
Thomas stared at it while getting punched repeatedly as he said "I can't really separate her from the creature since I'm only sensing her from this thing." Thomas teleported on top of the creature's head and sat down as he said "I'm gonna have to think for a bit on this one." Thomas stuck his hand onto the creature and said "I guess I can take a peek into its head." As Thomas arrived in a dark area he glanced around and said "It's similar to mine, it's really blank." Thomas began to walk forward as he said "These things are usually supposed to be their own little world where just about anything goes, but it's completely empty." After walking for what seemed like hours he came across Opal, bound by dark chains with a black aura coming off of them. Thomas stared at Opal who appeared to be crying as she repeatedly shouted "Please make it stop, this pain is unbearable!"
Thomas stared at her for a moment before putting his hand on her head and asking "How did your mind get into such a poor state?" As he asked this she grew silent before saying "The pain, it's gone." Opal stared at Thomas and asked "How did you do that?" Thomas thought for a moment and said "It's just a little trick I know." Thomas glanced away and mumbled "If I told her I'm taking on the pain she'd probably get mad at me." Thomas stared at Opal and asked "So how did you end up like this?" Opal attempted to move to wipe the tears from her eyes but the chains restrained her as she said "Some man in a strange outfit knocked me unconscious and did this to me." As a roar was heard throughout the dark area Thomas said "Looks like your trying to wake up." Thomas poked the chains and said "Well I'm gonna get you out of here, it's my fault anyway, so I gotta take responsibility and fix this, using any means necessary."
As the black chains vanished the room lit up and green grass began to spread all around them. Thomas began to walk off as he said "Your mental state has been repaired, I'll go deal with what you've become." As he wakes away Opal shed another tear and said "If you must, then please destroy my body, I won't hold it against you, I'm sure me turning back is being more then hopeful." Thomas froze for a moment and turned to her as he said "Killing you isn't an option, I'll completely overwrite time if I have to, but I won't kill you." Opal stared at him smiling with more tears rolling down her face as she said "It's okay, I know your just saying that, but if you must, then kill me." Thomas stared at her with a serious stare with both of his eyes glowing brightly as he said "This ain't no joke, if I have to I'll destroy and recreate this entire dimension, I refuse to kill you." Opal wiped her eyes and said "Then, I'll be waiting to see you again."
As Thomas smiled his eyes grew dimmer as he said "Good, I'll see you then, so don't die." As Thomas sat atop the creature he raised his head and shouted "Alright, I gave her my word, now I gotta bring her back no matter what!" Thomas stood up and said "Brute force might work, but it might be best if I hold off on it for a bit." Thomas began to float in front of the creature as it stood there peacefully as he mumbled "I don't have any guaranteed methods that'll work, maybe if I think for a bit I'll remember doing something similar." As he hovered there with his eyes closed the creature smacked him with an immense amount of force knocking him out of orbit and through the moon. Thomas continued to fly through the vacuum of space as he mumbled "Maybe if I get her to use all of her power I can cause her to revert back through over usage of her power?"
As he opened his eyes he'll glanced around and asked "How am I breathing and talking in space?" Thomas stared at the planet he was knocked away from as he said "Oh right, the rules of dimensions and all of reality don't have any affect on me." Thomas stopped flying through space and stopped moving all together as he asked "I wonder how fast I can get back without teleporting." As Thomas took a running stance he said "Alright, I'll run back and then I'll force her to draw out as much power as possible." Thomas dashed towards the planet with speed unknown to him as he said "Here goes nothing." As he landed on the planet he glanced around and asked "How long did that take?" As he glanced at the creature with its hands above its head he asked "Did it freeze?" Thomas began to walk towards it as he said "I can't force it to use more power if it won't even move."
After waiting for a few moments Thomas mumbled "Did I remember to slow down?" As he glanced behind him at where he had landed he said "I totally forgot didn't I?" Thomas took a deep breath and said "Alright, focus on slowing down, you don't need speed right now." After what seemed like a few seconds the spot where he had landed turned into a crater much larger then what the creature had been creating. As the ground lifted in every direction gusts of wind stronger the Opals could be felt all around the planet creating all sorts of natural disasters around the globe. Thomas glanced beneath himself and said "The grounds gone?" Thomas glanced at the creature that was now on the ground unable to move as he said "I really don't know how to control this power, if I had attacked Malice even once it's safe to say that I would've killed her."
Thomas began to walk towards the creature as he said "I shouldn't attack her, brute force is definitely a lost cause." As the creature stood up Thomas held his hand up with his palm facing the sky as he said "I should probably get rid of this weather." As a pulse covered the planet the weather around the planet came to a complete stop. The creature stared at Thomas for a moment before giving him a fully powered punch. As Thomas made contact with the fist he glanced at it and said "This would probably hurt if I was my usual weak self." As he was knocked through the planet it began to explode sending the creature flying off of the planet in the opposite direction Thomas was heading. Thomas appeared in front of the creature as he said "That was it using all of its power, but it didn't revert." Thomas glanced around and said "We've already done heavy damage to this solar system, continuing this might just put her in more danger."
Thomas let out a sigh and said "Well there's probably dozens of ways to revert her but I'll just use the simplest, although it does pose some sort of threat to me." Thomas's eyes flew green as he smiled and said "Guess I'll take a leap through time, and solve this whole thing before it ever begins." As Thomas appeared he seen Opal and the man standing in front of each other with a pane of glass in between them. As Opal shattered the glass the man unleashed the smoke on her once again while shouting the same thing he did last time. Thomas walked into the gas catching Opal before she hit the ground as he smiled and said "I usually prefer not to kill people, but after witnessing what you've caused, I don't really give a shit about killing you." The man began to back up against the wall while shouting "Its you, but how, I could've sworn I had you isolated?"
