As Thomas and Mary arrived back at the inn they sat down at a table and began to wait for a waiter. As a man approached them he asked "What can I get you two?" Mary stared at the man and said "I want a kids meal!" Thomas shrugged and said "Just get me whatever you recommend." After a few moments Lily, Mira, and Daisy walked in and noticed them sitting at a booth. As they walked over Lily ran towards them and asked Mary "Did you guys do anything fun?" Mary stared at Lily and said "Yeah, we went to the baths just like we planned and ran into Sarah." As Mary and Lily talked Mira asked Thomas "What else happened?" Thomas glanced at her and said "Just some run in with someone who wanted to be an assassin." Mary stared at Thomas and said "Oh that's right, I almost forgot about the bottle of poison you drank." Lily, Mira, and Daisy all stared at Thomas worried and asked "You drank poison?" Thomas stared at them and said "It's not what you think, it was just simple paralysis poison, nothing lethal." Mary stared at Thomas and said "But it was so cool, you drank the entire bottle." As they all continued to stare at him he asked "Should I have not done that?" Lily pointed at him and asked "How are you still moving?" As the waiter set food down in front of Thomas and Mary he said "Please enjoy your meal." Thomas glanced at the waiter and said "Thanks." As the waiter left Thomas glanced back at them and said "I think we should just ignore the amount of poison I drank." Daisy grabbed onto his shoulders and began to shake him as she asked "Are you saying that you took poison from someone you didn't know and just took it at face value that it wasn't going to kill you?" While she was shaking him he said "She gave me a cure for the paralysis once it kicked in." Daisy continued to shake him as she shouted "That's besides the point you shouldn't be drinking poison." Daisy let go of him and said "Seriously how did you survive when I wasn't around?" Lily stared at Daisy and said "I don't think we should worry about it too much, we already found out he's been eating poisonous fruit to test if it is poisonous or not." Daisy glared at Thomas and asked "Are you trying to die?" Mary glanced at Thomas and said "Don't die!" Thomas turned and stared at her for a moment as he said "If I was gonna die I would've done it a while ago." Mary stood up on her seat and said "If you do die I won't forgive you!" Thomas stared at her and asked "Then what am I supposed to do?" Mary pointed at him and said "You have to live forever, and I won't forgive you if you die and leave me here." Mira stared at Thomas and said "I must agree with her on this one, I'd much prefer you live as long as possible and not to die before me." They all began to nod in agreement as Thomas sat there and asked "But wouldn't that make me incredibly lonely?" Mira stared at him and said "I guess you'll just have to find ways to help us all live longer." Thomas nodded and said "Actually I've already tried thinking of some ways, but so far I've been completely blank and haven't been able to think of a thing." As Gwen popped out from behind them scaring all of them but Thomas she said "I might be able to help you with your problem." Thomas glanced at her and said "Oh it's you." Gwen nodded and said "Sorry I was eavesdropping on you but I might be able to gather some information on spells and such that may be of some use to your goal." Thomas stared at her and said "Seriously?" Gwen nodded and said "Since I am now apart of your guild I suppose I can help you out with this." Gwen walked away and said "I'll report back to you when I have some information on what your looking for." Mira stared at Thomas and said "Well I guess that takes care of this for now." Daisy stared at Thomas and asked "Who's that?" Mary glanced at Daisy and said "That's the person who gave Thomas the poison." Daisy stared at Thomas and asked "Did she try and use her womanly charms against you?" Thomas stared at Daisy confused and said "I have no idea what your talking about." As a larger man carrying a flintlock walked over to Thomas he smiled and said "I hear your looking for objects that grant the holder a form of immortality." Thomas glanced at the man and said "Yeah, do you have any information on it?" The man smiled and put the gun to Thomas's head as he said "I could ask you the same question." Thomas glanced at the barrel and asked "Does that mean you don't know anything?" The man smiled and said "I know a little about them but I'm hoping to gain a lot more from you." Thomas shrugged and said "Sorry don't know a thing." The man lowered the gun and asked "Are you serious?" The man put the gun back on his head and said "You have to know something, otherwise you wouldn't believe they exist." Daisy stared at the man and said "I think of you lower the gun we can talk this out." Mary stared at Thomas and asked "Are you going to be alright?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I should be since I don't have what he's looking for." The man pushed the gun harder as he leaned in and asked "Have you heard anything about magical weapons or armor, maybe?" Thomas nodded and said "Yeah I have one of them on me." The man smiled and said "Good, now hand it over." Thomas grabbed the sword off of his back and said "Okay, here you go." The man grabbed the handle and fell to the ground with it as he asked "What kind of magical weapon is this?" Thomas began to eat as he said "I don't know I figured you'd know more about it then me." The man stared at the handle of the sword and said "This is the legendary first hero's sword." The man held the gun at Thomas and shouted "Forget this sword if I kill you I'll be famous." As the man fired the barrel of the gun exploded. Thomas glanced at the man and said "I forgot to mention but I slipped a stone into your gun using magic." The man stared at the barrel of his gun and asked "When, I didn't see you." Thomas nodded and said "You were too busy falling when I handed you the sword to notice." Daisy stared at Thomas and said "Actually you might've been moving too fast for him to see." Thomas stuck his hand in front of himself and began to shake it back and forth as he said "Really, I don't think I'm moving that fast." Mary stared at his hand and said "It's like your hand is a blur, that's so cool." Thomas picked the sword back up and said "Well this guy was useless, he didn't even have a lead but still came after me." The man immediately stood up and bowed as he said "Please forgive me, I didn't mean anything by it, I was clearly overstepping your boundaries." Thomas glared at the man with a sinister look and said "If you don't have any useful information beat it." The man stood there nervously and said "Of course I have information, I'm not totally useless." Thomas stared at him and said "Oh, well then keep talking." The man nodded and said "Sure anything you want, just so long as you agree not to hurt me." The man stood up straight and said "I heard a rumor that there's been illegal sells going on within this town and lots of magical weapons and slaves are being sold there." Thomas sighed and said "Again with this stuff, does this type of thing usually happen?" The man nodded and said "Of course, you should know that there's likely a black market in every city and or town, however the very city your in right now has some of the biggest and baddest black market dealers around." Thomas stared at him and said "What does this have to do with anything we just talked about?" The man nervously stared at Thomas and said "Just wait a minute I'm getting there." The man glanced at the others and said "Some of these black market shops specialize in information gathering and selling, so if you go check them out I'm sure you can have them dig something up about the spells and items your looking for." Thomas nodded and said "Well now that you mentioned that it does sound pretty useful." Thomas stared at the man and said "You can go now." The man began to quickly walk away as he said "Of course its a pleasure to help you, and I'll be sure to spread word not to mess with you so you won't have to worry about having this conversation again."
