Chapter 209 - Chapter 209 A Storm Out At Sea

As Thomas and the others stepped back onboard Alexander stared at them and said "What did you do with her?" Thomas glanced at him and said "Nothing much, just gave her a place to stay until I can figure out a way to either revert the water breathing thing or find a another way to work around it." Alexander laughed and said "Trouble just seems to follow you." Mira stared at Thomas and asked "Should I inform the others about the mermaid?" Thomas glanced at her and said "It'll be best if we do." Mira glanced at Ocis and said "We should both go and explain it." As they both walked away Thomas slumped over the side of the boat and mumbled "Now I have even more to work towards." Savo slapped his back and began to laugh as he said "At least your life won't be boring!" Thomas glanced at him and said "I'd prefer it to be easy and boring then tough and a pain." Savo walked away and said "Well other May have different opinions, I'm gonna go back to fishing." As Thomas turned around he seen Lily standing there excitedly as she asked "Where's the mermaid, I wanna see I wanna see!" Thomas glanced back into the ocean and said "She's in the subconscious right now." Lily stared at him and said "Take me there now!" Thomas sighed and said "Alright but she won't have a mermaid tail unless she's in water." As the door formed Thomas almost fell over as he mumbled "Go on through." Lily glanced at him and asked "Are you alright?" Mira walked over to him and put one of his arms over her shoulder as she said "He's fine just a bit exhausted." As Lily walked through the door she said "You better rest and take care of yourself while I'm gone." Once the door closed Thomas fell to the ground and said "I'm out of mana." Mira picked Thomas up and said "I'm pretty sure we seen some beds inside the ship." Thomas sighed and said "Don't bother just leave me on the ships deck against a railing." Mira shook her head and said "That won't do, Lily wants you to take care of yourself." As the ship hit another wave Alexander stared at them and said "Looks like a storms coming." Mira glanced at him and asked "Will we be alright?" Alexander nodded and said "Of course, I'm this ships driver after all." Mira smiled and glanced at Thomas who had fallen asleep and said "See you'd be better off inside the ship." Mira walked in and seen the others talking as she walked past them and set Thomas down on a hammock. Peri stared at him and asked "What happened to him?" Mira glanced at her and said "He's just a bit exhausted." Ocis climbed into the hammock and moved him on top of her and said "I wanna share a hammock with him!" Ocis wrapped her wings around him and said "I'll make sure he's nice and comfy." Scarlett glanced at her chest where Thomas's head was laying and said "Just be careful not to suffocate him." Ocis glanced at him and asked "What do you mean?" Scarlett turned away and said "Never mind." Mira stared at him and asked "Do you think a hammock could support three people?" Scarlett glanced at her and said "Two people is pushing it, so it would be best if you didn't." Mira nodded and said "Alright then." As Savo entered the room soaking wet he said "Looks like Alexander was right about the storm." Mira stared at Savo and asked "Will he be alright out there on his own?" Savo nodded and said "He'll manage." Savo glanced at Thomas and Ocis and asked "What's going on in here?" Ocis smiled and said "He was exhausted so I'm making sure he gets better." Savo smiled and said "Now that you mention it I'm starting to feel unwell to." Mira glanced at him and said "Pervert." Savo laughed and said "I'm only kidding you don't have to call me names." Savo picked up a create and said "I only came in here to get what's in this." Savo set it down and opened it and pulled out two rubber jackets and said "I had these specialty made, there's more in there but right now we only need two." As Savo reached for the door the ship hit a wave and knocked everyone around. Savo held his head and asked "Is everyone alright?" Savo stared at Thomas and Ocis who were now laying on the ground with Thomas's head buried in her chest as Savo asked "Why isn't he being called a pervert?" Ocis lifted him off of her chest and said "Because he's my future husband!" Savo opened the door and said "Well whatever you say, I'm gonna go now." Ocis set Thomas down in the hammock and said "If I wasn't there he might've gotten hurt." Poppy shook her head and said "Not likely, he would've just woken up and assumed someone wanted something from him." Peri stared at him and asked "Wait are you serious?" Poppy nodded and said "Most likely." Peri stood beside him and asked "So if I were to punch him he would be more confused then angry?" Poppy nodded and said "Yes that's what I just said." Peri punched him in the head and shouted "For science!" Thomas glanced at her and asked "What happened?" Peri shrugged and said "Must've hit another wave or something?" Ocis stared at him in amazement and asked "Did you not feel it?" Thomas glanced at her and asked "Feel what?" Ocis pointed at Peri and said "She just hit you." Peri turned away and nervously said "No I didn't." Thomas glanced at her and asked "Did I do something wrong?" Peri glanced at him and shook her head as she said "No I was just testing something Poppy mentioned." Thomas glanced at Poppy and asked "What?" Poppy shrugged and said "Don't look at me." Ocis climbed into the hammock with him again and said "Enough worrying about that, you need to rest." Ocis held him closely and said "Just relax and by the time you wake up we'll be there." As Thomas slowly began to fall asleep Mira stared at him and said "He's just like a baby." Scarlett nodded and said "Unfortunately the baby we're working with has killed people." Peri nodded and said "Yeah but he is slowing getting better at not killing people." As Savo walked back in he said "We found an island that seems to be uninhabited." Mira stared at him and asked "What about the weather?" Savo pushed the door back opened and said "It stopped see." Savo threw the two rubber jackets on the ground and asked "So which one of you want to explore with us." Savo glanced at Thomas and asked "Is all of that really necessary?" Ocis glanced at him and said "This is the best way to keep him safe when he overuses his magic." Savo put his hand on his own face and said "If you would've told me that a while ago I would've gave you a mana potion from one of the creates." Savo opened a create and punched Thomas as he shouted "Wake up and drink this." Thomas slowly opened his eyes and found himself on the ground staring at the roof as he mumbled "What is it this time?" Savo opened the potion and said "Just open your mouth and drink this." Savo shoves the bottle into his mouth and said "Drink up, you'll need it." Once the bottle was empty Savo set it on the ground and asked "So how do you feel?" Thomas sat up and said "Well I can move." Savo smiled and said "Good, because we just found an uninhabited island." Thomas stood up and began to stretch as he said "Okay, guess we can call this a pit stop." As they all walked out onto the deck Thomas stared at the island and said "You all can go I'll watch the boat." Savo grabbed the back of Thomas's shirt and said "Oh no you don't, your coming with me so we can have another match." As Savo dragged him off the boat Ocis glanced at Mira and asked "Should we stop him?" Mira shook her head and said "If he wants to lose that badly let him." Savo dropped Thomas on the ground and said "Alright let's do this, no holding back this time." Thomas sat there and said "Yeah sure." Savo went full metal and shouted "This time I'm putting all of my mana into defense and offense." Thomas glanced at him and asked "What about speed?" Savo smiled and said "Nice try but I already know that this form is gonna beat you with ease." Savo threw one punch and shouted "Prepare yourself." Before the punch could land Thomas appeared behind him and punched him once in the back of the head knocking him into the ground and said "Okay we're done now, can I go back to the ship?"
