As Thomas woke up he found himself in Rose's hands watching her sleep while she held him close to herself. Thomas sat up and mumbled "Thanks for looking after me." Thomas teleported out of her hands and in front of her as he mumbled "It should be fine if I sit around for a while." Thomas glanced back at Rose and smiled as he said "I can probably keep watch over you for a little while." As he turned back around he seen the others all laying down sleeping on the ground. Thomas walked towards put out fire and mumbled "I can probably surprise them all with some food by the morning." Thomas smiled and held out his hand as he said "Let's see what's on the menu." As the owl bear's body appeared in front of him he walked towards it and asked "Is thing even edible?" Thomas began to poke at it with his sword as he mumbled "Guess I have to remove all the feathers." Thomas began to pluck the feathers off of the owl bear as he mumbled "I should have some fruits and vegetables that I found too, don't know if they're edible though." After plucking all the feathers he grabbed his sword and began to carve it as he mumbled "Looks like my village skills are still intact." Thomas put the owl bear's organs and feathers back in the sub space as he mumbled "Don't really know if I'll need these or not." Thomas glanced at the others as he started the fire and mumbled "Just stay asleep and ignore the fire." As the meat began to cook Thomas organized all the fruits that he had found and put them in front of him. Thomas grabbed one of the fruits and bit into it as he said "Taste testing is the easiest way to find out if they're poisonous or not." Thomas tossed the fruit behind him and mumbled "That one is definitely poisonous, I'm beginning to see why this wasn't the best idea." Thomas sighed and said "Better just hope it's not leather and hope whatever this feeling is goes away." Thomas held his head and mumbled "Whatever it is its making me feel sick to my stomach." Thomas glanced at the other fruits and mumbled "I've already eaten a poisonous one, might as well try the others." After tasting the rest of the different fruits he found about seven out of the eleven of the fruits weren't poisonous as far as he could tell. Thomas put the fruits away and mumbled "Lily knows more about this stuff then me so I think I'll just go to the town and buy some." As he walked into the town and into a shop he walked up to a lady and said "I'm gonna need a few baskets full of fruits and vegetables." The lady stared at him and said "Do you have any preferences?" Thomas shrugged and said "Not really but just incase don't add garlic." The set five baskets on the counter filled with fruits and vegetables and said "That will be three silvers." Thomas held his hand to the baskets and stored the fruits in them away as he said "Thanks." The lady glanced in one of the baskets and seen three silver coins as she glanced back at him and said "Thank you for your business?" As he walked out he mumbled "Did one of those other fruits cure me?" Thomas held his head and mumbled "Whatever if the side effects went away that's just better for me." As Thomas arrived back at the fire he took the meat off and put some vegetables over it as he mumbled "Does it count as cooking if I just shove a stick through cooked meat and vegetables?" Thomas glanced at the ocean and mumbled "We'll probably be gone within a week or two." As Thomas glanced back at the fire and seen Alice sitting there across from him. Thomas stared at her for a moment and asked "What are you doing here?" Alice glanced at him and said "Don't mind me, I don't have a place to stay right now and I seen you so I figured I'd stop by and talk to you for a while." Thomas scratched his head and said "Well as you can see nothings going on here right now." Alice stared at him and asked "Can I help you cook?" Thomas stared at her and said "If you wanna help that's up to you." Alice took the vegetables off of the fire and said "I'm pretty sure you said you were gonna stab a stick through these." Thomas nodded and grabbed a stick as he said "My plan is to put both the meat and vegetables on it so you can eat around it." Alice stared at him and said "I don't think anyone has ever done that before." Thomas began to stick both the meat and vegetables on sticks as he said "I'm sure it's fine." Thomas handed one to Alice and said "Give it a try." As they both bit into it Alice stared at Thomas and cheerfully said "This is really good!" Alive bit into it again and asked "What kind of meat is this?" Thomas bit into it again and said with his mouth full "It's an owl bear." Alice paused mid bite and asked "Can you repeat that?" Thomas began to make more and set them in the ground sticking up as he said "I said it's owl bear meat." Alice stared at it and asked "Where did you even get this?" Thomas glanced at her and said "I picked it up from a village we passed through." Alice but into it again and said "Meat like this is pretty uncommon." Thomas glanced at the rising sun and stood up as he said "I should probably wake them up before the food gets cold." Thomas walked towards them as Alice asked "Can you wait a moment." Thomas glanced at her and asked "Why?" Alice picked up another one of the meat and vegetable kabobs as she said "I'd like to leave before they wake up." Thomas turned around and stared at her as he asked "Is there a reason why?" Alice began to walk away as she sighed and said "Sadly dream eaters don't exactly have the best reputation." Thomas turned back around and said "Then you were probably really relieved to find out that I didn't care." As Thomas turned back around she was gone without a trace. Thomas sighed and mumbled "Well do what you gotta do I guess." As Thomas woke the others he said "Get up I tried cooking." Once they were all up Thomas handed them the kabobs and said "I tried my best." Thomas glanced at Rose and said "I had to make yours larger though." Ocis stared at Thomas and said "That's no fair, it's suppose to be the wife's job to make food for her husband." Thomas stared at her and said "I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that." Ocis bit into it and said "Fine but I'll make you some food next time." Thomas paused for a moment and mumbled "Wait is that cannibalism?" Poppy stared at him and said "It's not cannibalism she's more human then bird." Thomas let out a sigh of relief and said "For a moment there I thought I did something really cruel." Ocis stared at Thomas excitedly and said "This tastes great!" Lily walked towards him holding one of the fruits he had bitten and asked "Did you eat this?" Thomas nodded and said "I'm pretty sure it was poisonous, but I'm also pretty sure one of the other fruits cured it." Lily stared at him nervously and said "This fruit is a Lachery fruit." Lily dropped it and said "I demand that you tell me how much of them you've eaten." Thomas shrugged and said "I only had a bite." Lily turned away and said "You had me worried for a moment." Lily tossed the fruit and said "If you'd have eaten more then one you probably would've died to the natural poison in it." Thomas stared at the fruit and said "I think it's poison if overestimated." Lily glanced at him and said "If your lying so we're not worried I'll force you to tell us." Thomas picked up the fruit and said "It did give me a headache and stomachache but other then that nothing happened." Lily sat down by the fire and said "I'll believe what your telling me but if you begin acting weird and it turns out you weren't telling the truth I'll punish you." Thomas began to walk off as he said "Yeah sure whatever you say." As he walked towards the town he said "Oh and before I forget, thanks for watching me Rose." Rose smiled and said "Of course, if anything I owe you." As he walked away he looked at the sun and smiled as he said "You don't owe me anything."
