As Thomas and Ceil left the book store she glanced at him and said "You should try and learn how to pick locks before we get back to the inn." Thomas glanced at her and said "Yeah but I can probably steal the key again if I need to." Ceil stared at him and said "Lily isn't likely to make that same mistake twice." Thomas sighed and held the book out in front of himself as he mumbled "Guess I better learn as we walk." As he opened the book and began to read it Ceil glanced at him and said "I can probably let you out while she's not looking." Thomas glanced at her and said "I'd appreciate it." As they arrived at the inn there was a note on the ground that read "We're all with Rose, you should come to us so we can prepare to go against Sorrowful Silence." Thomas put the note in his pocket and mumbled "Looks like we have a slight change of plan." As Thomas turned back around the female innkeeper was standing there and she bowed as she said "The previous room should be ready for use now." Thomas stared at her for a moment and asked "Do you know anything about the guild Sorrowful Silence?" The lady paused for a moment and asked "Did they do something?" Thomas stared at her and said "Not really but it seems like they want to." The lady walked towards Thomas and said "I'd like to apologize if your going against them you could be in serious danger." Thomas shrugged and said "So what I just wanted to know if you knew where their hideout was." The lady stared at Thomas and asked "Why are you acting like it's no big deal, they're always terrorizing the town with absolute authority over everything and everyone." Thomas walked past her and said "If you don't want to tell me I can just find out myself." The lady glanced at Thomas and said "I don't want your death to be in my hands, so find someone else to take you there." As Thomas walked out of the inn with Ceil he mumbled "This whole thing could've been over before it began if I just killed them." Ceil glanced at Thomas and said "Don't worry too much, I'm sure we would've had to fight them sooner or later." As they began to walk towards Rose and the others Thomas said "That lady is worried over nothing, I've already fought with a few of the members." Ceil stared at him and said "I'm sure she's worried for a reason." As they arrived at Rose's camp area she glanced at them and said "Hey it's been a while." Thomas stared at her and smiled as he said "Yup, we've been kinda busy back in town." Rose nodded and said "Yup after all I heard you became a pirate king." As Lily walked up to him she said "Enough small talk we have to discuss how we're gonna fight them." Peri aimed her sword into the sky and shouted "We should fight them head on!" Thomas yawned and said "Works for me." Peri nodded and said "Then it's decided, we shall take them head on." Lily stared at her and said "Nothing is decided yet, we still haven't decided a battle strategy." Ceil glanced at Thomas and said "Well if getting stronger is something you want to do quickly I have a two thousand pound talisman." Thomas stared at her and asked "Why do you have a talisman double what I already have on?" Ceil walked towards him and tore off the previous talisman as she said "I was saving it to use on an enemy later, but it can probably help you get stronger." As she stuck the talisman on he collapsed to the ground and mumbled "This increase might be too much." Scarlett stared at him and said "If none of us get stronger they might overpower us." As Thomas slowly stood up he said "I get it I get it, I'll wear the talisman." Scarlett nodded and said "Good, now we have to find ways the rest of us can improve." Thomas began to slowly walk towards them as he said "You guys just keep getting stronger at your own pace, I'm sure I can take them." Lily pointed at him and said "Shut up, we're a team and so we're gonna help you." Mira walked towards Thomas and said "Even if your right and don't need us we'd like to be there and help you, especially in your time of need." Thomas stared at her and said "If this is your way of smooth talking your way into getting some of my blood you could've just asked." Mira nodded and said "That too." As Mira began to drink Thomas's blood he held the mana star fruit in front of himself and said "We can use this." Ocis stared at it for a moment and asked "Isn't that one of those rare magical things?" Thomas set it down in front of him and said "Use it however you'd like." Lily stared at the fruit and said "With this we can either strengthen our magic or give it to someone without magic." Lily glanced at Ocis, Rose, and Peri as she asked "Which one of you should get it?" Thomas glanced at Rose and mumbled "She'd probably be able to use both her ground shattering abilities and magic pretty well together." Ocis walked towards Thomas and asked "What do you think?" Thomas stared at Ocis and mumbled "But on the other hand it could help Ocis and Peri to." Thomas turned around and began to walk off as he said "Whoever gets it is up to you, I'm sure you'll make a better decision then me." As he walked back into the inn the lady that he had talked to recently was standing there and said "I thought about what you asked, and I've decided I'll show you where they are." Thomas glanced at her and said "Really?" She nodded and said "However I refuse to take you inside, if they knew who was helping you they'd kill them." As she walked past Thomas she glanced at him and asked "Why is your breathing so heavy?" Thomas sighed and said "Ignore it, I'm just preparing for the fight." The lady nodded and said "Alright then, let's go." As they walked out of the inn and towards an old abandoned building she said "This is as far as I'll go, just head inside and they should be there." Before she could say anything else Thomas walked in and said "You've done your part I'll do mine." The lady turned around and said "Please don't die." As Thomas looked around a man stepped out from behind a create and said "I hear that you attacked the temporary leader." Thomas stared at the man and said "If you play with fire don't complain when you get burnt." The man raised his hand towards Thomas and said "That may be true however it would've been in your best interest not to anger the guild." As the man pushed his hand towards Thomas he sent him flying towards the wall. Once Thomas hit the wall he was stuck there unable to move. The man began to walk towards Thomas as he said "Killing you would actually be fairly easy, however I could let this whole thing play out and see how things turn out." As the man pushed his hand further Thomas flew through the wall and was now being held to the ground. Thomas glanced at the man and said "This was all a trap wasn't it?" The man nodded and said "Of course I knew you would've tried something so I simply blackmailed the girl into bringing you here." The man stomped on Thomas's chest and said "You can choose to either die peacefully and quick or die fighting." Thomas smiled and said "Isn't there an option number three?" The man took his foot off of Thomas and kicked him in the face as he shouted "Only an idiot would think like that." As Thomas began to slowly stand up he smiled and said "I may be an idiot but I'm the idiot that's gonna best the hell out of you." The man stared at Thomas and turned around as he said "Good your not just some weakling, or at least not entirely." Thomas took a step towards him and said "Think whatever you want, I'll just prove you wrong." The man turned back to Thomas and said "Letting you live still isn't an option however I suppose I can extend your life a small amount longer." The man began to walk away as he said "The gravity around you will change momentarily, until then sit there and wait." Once the man left Thomas continued to walk out of the building, with every step he took leaving a slight indent in the ground. As he walked out the lady stared at him and said "Your alive!" Thomas glanced at her and said "I'm not gonna bother you asking you to explain yourself, I'm sure you had your reasons." The lady glanced at the footsteps he was leaving and said "He threatened to kill my family." Thomas stared at the sky as he walked away and said "That's a pretty respectable reason."
