As Thomas walked back to the camp he mumbled "My balance is finally back to normal." Once he arrived at the camp everyone stared at him as Lily asked "Would it be possible to put everyone in the subspace and jump back to another town?" Thomas stared at them and said "It depends on how far it is but yeah it could work." Lily smiled and said "Good because I think we should all go visit my dad!" Thomas stared at her for a few moments and said "I might be able to make that jump but I would almost definitely need some mana potions." Mira stared at Thomas and said "I might be able to help with that." Thomas stared at her and said "I don't think my blood is gonna help make a jump there." Mira shook her head and said "It's not about blood, when we were at my fathers I took a few more mana potions." Thomas stared at her and said "Sorry for having you talk about a touchy subject." Mira stared at him and said "It's alright, I can actually hardly remember him, maybe it's for the best." Mira handed Thomas a mana potion and said "I only wish I could've known him better." Thomas held his hand out in front of him and created the mana door as he said "Yeah, I know what you mean." As they walked through the door Poppy waited outside of it and said "Don't worry I'm sure you'll meet your parents too!" As she walked through the door Thomas stared at her and mumbled "Wishful thinking won't get me anywhere, they're most likely dead and in another dimension." As the door vanished Thomas drank the potion and said "Guess we'll see if I can make a quick jump across an ocean and thousands of miles of land." As his eye turned purple he smiled and said "If this does work I might be able to see Jason and Cali again." As Thomas vanished and reappeared in SeaPoint City he fell over and mumbled "Dammit, I'm not used to using this much mana." As Thomas stumbled to his feet he held his hand in front of himself and mumbled "I gotta get the door open." As the mana door appeared all of the others walked out except for Rose and seen Thomas breathing heavily. Once they all walked out of the door Thomas fell over and said "I'm gonna need a minute." Lily stared at Thomas and said "Rose said that she'd just get in the way so she said she was gonna stay in the subconscious. As the mana door closed Thomas yawned and said "That's fine." As Ocis walked towards him she asked "Are you gonna show us around?" Thomas glanced at her and said "Maybe later, right now I'm sure Lily wants to see her dad." Ocis glanced at Lily and said "Well then what are we waiting for let's go." As the others walked away Scarlett stood there and asked "Would you like me to carry you to the inn?" Thomas sighed and said "Unfortunately yes." As Scarlett picked him up and began to walk towards the inn she asked "Do you remember how we met?" Thomas nodded and said "Yeah, I found you along the shore in a cave." Scarlett nodded and said "It was a dungeon." Thomas continued to stare at the ground as Scarlett said "If I had met anyone else they would've struck me down without a second thought." Thomas sat there silently listening to her as she said "It's not just me you've helped, during our journey you've done a lot of amazing things." Thomas glanced up and said "It doesn't matter how amazing I am or something I did was, in the end I'm really just another murderer." Scarlett shook her head and said "If that were true you would've killed me and Ocis when you had to fight us." As they stood outside the inn Scarlett said "You gave Mira a chance to see her father before he died as well, and those guards would've killed Mira if you hadn't stepped in." As they entered the inn Scarlett said "Look what I'm trying to say is I believe that you can be more then just some killer." As they entered Scarlett looked around and said "That's odd I don't think anyone's here." Thomas glanced up and said "Now that you mention it I don't think I seen anyone when we walked over here either." Scarlett set Thomas down in a seat and said "Perhaps they are all currently doing something." Moments later the others walked out of the rooms and down the stairs as they said "No one's here." Thomas glanced at them and said "Seriously, no one?" Thomas began to sniff the air as he said "I might be able to find them." As Thomas continued to sniff the air he said "It's odd, I can't even smell any other people." Scarlett walked towards the door and said "I'm going to take a look around the village." As she left Lily stared at Thomas and nervously asked "What do you thinks going on?" Thomas shrugged and said "Not like it could be an attack, everything is left in near perfect condition apart from the dust." Lily looked around the room and said "Your right, it's like they all vanished." Thomas glanced at Peri and Ceil as he said "Hand me one of the papers from the quest board." Ceil nodded and said "Alright, but I don't think now is the time for a quest." As she handed the paper to Thomas he said "We can't get some information from this." Thomas handed Lily the paper and said "What's the date on the back of that paper?" Lily stared at it shocked as she said "It's the day after me, you, and Scarlett left for our journey." Thomas nodded and said "Jason was likely aware of this, I thought it was odd that he would trust me a total stranger with a kid." Thomas glanced at Lily and said "However if he knew it was an unavoidable fate for himself but knew he could save you it does make sense on why he would do such a thing." Mira stared at Lily and said "I could try and comfort you if you'd like." Lily stared at her and said "There's no guarantee he's dead yet, so I won't lose hope!" Thomas glanced at her and said "Yeah but it's also not like we know where they are, so in the mean time while I catch my breath I'll try to figure something out." Thomas stared at them and said "In the meantime it would probably be best if you looked around the town to see what you can find." They all nodded and then left the inn as Thomas sighed and said "Now I have to find an entire missing city worth of people." As Thomas stood up he mumbled "I could've spent my time doing something better but I guess this is something to do to." As Thomas walked out of the inn and towards a house he said "My best bet is to check the scene of the crime, however a house is more likely since there were probably people there who disappeared." As he opened the door he seen chairs and books on the ground and as he said "Yup just as I thought, someone made these people disappear." Thomas bent down and picked up one of the books as he sat down and said "Whoever did this made those people disappear, however those people must've been panicked meaning that they didn't leave by choice." As Thomas read through the book he mumbled "If I didn't check some of the buildings I wouldn't have known that whoever or whatever did this did it in person." Thomas flipped a page and said "If it was a spell they would've just vanished but these people were likely panicked because they witnessed its abilities." As Thomas stood up he mumbled "Damn, I don't have enough info to go on yet." Thomas closed the book and set it on the table as he said "There must be some sort of reason no other people have been here in the time we've been gone." As he walked out of the building Peri walked up to him and asked "Did you figure anything out yet?" Thomas glanced at her and said "No not much." Thomas stared at her and said "Maybe it would be best if we all rested up for a while." Peri nodded and said "We can stay at the inn we found when we arrived." As Thomas walked around he glanced up at the sky and mumbled "Maybe I'm overlooking something. Thomas scratched his head and mumbled "Dammit I don't have a clue." As they entered the inn Thomas day down at the table and mumbled "When we arrived here we found out nobody was here since we left however we have no idea what caused it." Thomas lowered his head down onto the table and mumbled "I'm definitely overlooking a key factor right now."
