As the king walked through the castle Thomas asked "What makes Toby a hero?" The king stared at Thomas and said "All the kings gathered to summon him, and I take it your referring to Mason who Marcus summoned himself?" Thomas nodded and said "Yeah I was wandering about his status." Toby glanced at Thomas and said "I met Mason before, he was super smart." Thomas glanced at the king and said "Yo king is this fight gonna be public or just me and Toby?" The king glanced at Thomas and said "Don't bother calling me king, instead call me Micheal." Thomas glanced at him and said "Micheal, how many people know about what I did?" Toby stared at Thomas and asked "What are you talking about?" Micheal stared at Thomas and said "As far as I know just your companions, me, Marcus, and Mason." Toby stared at Thomas and asked "What did you do?" Thomas shrugged and said "You'd have to have been in Trido to know." Micheal stared at Thomas and said "Even the people of Trido have no idea." Thomas stared at Toby and said "Guess your out of luck." Thomas stared at Micheal and said "Oh yeah, Preston also knows about it." Micheal opened a door and revealed a fairly large open area as he said "You may use this space to fight." Thomas and Toby glanced at each other and said "No rules first to give up loses." Thomas and Toby smiled as they ran to the center of the arena as Micheal said "Do try to keep it down I am expecting Marcus to stop by later on today." Thomas glanced at Micheal and said "When he arrives let me know, I wanna know how he's doing to!" Micheal nodded and said "I'll send someone to get you when he arrives, I'm sure he would like to personally thank you." Toby ran towards a wall where wooden swords were lined up neatly and said "We should fight with these." Toby picked one up and said "Even with a wooden sword I should be able to beat you." Thomas walked over and grabbed two wooden swords as he said "Bring it." Thomas stood there with two swords as Toby said "My prayer from earlier is still active so hit me with everything you've got!" Thomas swing the sword at Toby and said "Alright then." As Thomas swung the sword Toby felt it strike his armor but was unable to see the strike. Toby took a step back and asked "What happened?" Thomas raised one of the swords and said "Its simple, I'm not wearing a talisman right now." Thomas smirked and swung the wooden sword more and more striking Toby again and again. Toby continued to slowly back up as he asked "Are you really this fast without talismans?" Thomas smiled and said "I haven't even used any magic yet." Thomas quit swinging his sword and stood in front of Toby as he said "You know I've been fighting for the kill a lot lately, it's not preferable but I guess it's become pretty common." Toby began to take off his armor as he said "I haven't killed anyone." Once Toby's armor was off he picked his sword back up and said "Alright, now I'm ready!" Toby dashed around Thomas and began to strike repeatedly as he said "Killing to protect someone or something is reasonable so long as your not killing for fun or greed." Thomas stood there and blocked his strikes with one of his wooden swords as as he said "Apart from the people I've accidentally killed there was a point to killing them." Toby smiled and said "Alright now I'm all warmed up!" Toby began to swing the sword even faster as he said "Let's just see how long you can keep up with me!" Thomas began to back up while simultaneously blocking his attacks with both of his swords as he said "Keeping up with you isn't a problem, but I wouldn't mind you telling me how you always appear and disappear from one location to the next." Toby began to increase his speed as he said "That's my little secret." Thomas shrugged and said "Well can't get you to tell me if you don't want to." Thomas smiled and said "Since we're getting serious I hope the king won't mind if we break the walls a bit." Thomas hopped back and said "Aura release." As Thomas's aura surrounded him he said "So Toby you ready to see a new trick I learned in the last town?" Toby smiled and said "Give it your best shot!" Thomas dropped one of the swords and grabbed the other with both hands as if it were a baseball bat and swung it as hard as he could. As a wound opened up on Toby's chest he fell to the ground bleeding and asked "What the hell did you just do?" Thomas dropped the other wooden sword and deactivated his magic as he ran over to Toby and quickly asked "Are you alright." Toby stood up and help a hand on his stomach as he asked "Did you cut me with the sword or wind magic?" Thomas let out a sigh of relief and said "We should end this here." Thomas stood up and walked towards the castle as Toby asked "Aren't you gonna tell me what you just did?" Thomas glanced at him and said "I call it flying slash, but I stole the idea for that move in the last town." Thomas smiled and said "I'm actually surprised it worked." Toby reaches into his pocket and drank a health potion as he mumbled "Maybe I should raise my magic abilities." As Thomas entered the castle a man stared at Thomas and said "The king would like to speak to you." Thomas stared at the man and said "Alright." The man led Thomas to the room the king was in and said "The king hadn't told me what he requested you for but it sounded important." As Thomas entered the room he seen Micheal and Marcus as they stared at Thomas Micheal said "Glad to see your still in perfect condition." Thomas walked towards them and said "More or less." Marcus stared at Thomas and asked "How is Daisy?" Thomas stared at him and said "She's alright." Micheal stared at Thomas and asked "How would you like to do something for me?" Thomas glanced at him and said "Not interested." Marcus stared at Thomas and asked "Can you at least hear him out?" Thomas shrugged and said "Fine, but make it quick." Thomas began to walk past them towards a window as Micheal said "As you know kings aren't allowed to fight in wars, witch is why I'd like you to partake in the upcoming battle." Thomas opened the window and asked "What's in it for me?" Micheal smiled and said "I'm glad you asked, I have an entire library that I'd be willing to lend you." Thomas glanced at Micheal and asked "Will the others be allowed to use it to?" Micheal stared at Thomas and said "Of course, I wouldn't limit it to just you." Thomas smiled and said "You got yourself a deal, I'm sure you'll be able to find me." As Thomas jumped from the window Micheal stared at Marcus and asked "Is he normally like this?" Marcus nodded and said "Actually he's far worse when he's drunk." Micheal began to laugh as he said "Your referring to his drunk fight with you." Marcus nodded and said "Although I'd hate to admit it he was rather strong." Micheal smiled and said "That's a good thing for us though, because he isn't a king we have a rather large advantage on the battlefield so long as we use him." Marcus nodded and said "If he had enough mana potions he'd probably be able to take on an entire army himself." Micheal smiled and said "With time he will become a threat to even us." Marcus stared at him and said "We shouldn't have to worry about him becoming an enemy." As Thomas jumped from part of the castle to the next he reached the ground and glanced up at the window as he said "Couldn't they have just held their meeting in a lower room." Thomas shrugged and said "Well I guess I should find the others." As Thomas began to walk off Toby called his name and said "Next time we meet I'll be stronger then you, for sure!" Thomas smiled and said "I won't let that happen." Thomas began to walk off as he mumbled "I should probably use some of this mana so my eye returns to normal." Thomas looked up at the sky and mumbled "Going to a war sounds like a pain, but I'm sure Micheal's Library will have some helpful information." Thomas yawned and said "Even if I can't use the information I'm sure the others can."
