Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 The Orc Town’s festival

Once Thomas's treatment finished Ocis grabbed his arm and said "Come on the others are probably still worried about." As Ocis dragged him he teleported both of them to the festival and said "We can search for them while we check out the festival." Poppy appeared on Thomas's shoulder and said "If your gonna enjoy the festival I wanna come along too." Ocis smiled and said "Then we should go to that stand." Ocis began to drag Thomas towards the stand as she said "This stand has a game and to win you have guess what cup has the ball underneath it." The man glanced at Thomas and asked "Would you like to play?" Thomas nodded and said "Sure let's give it a try." Thomas watched as the man put the ball in the middle cup and then with an extreme amount of speed swapped the cups around. Ocis glanced at Thomas and said "I couldn't keep up with the right cup." Thomas pointed to the one on the left and said "It's in that one." The man lifted the cup and said "Correct." The man smiled and said "Perhaps you would like to wager something." Thomas stared at the man and smiled as he said "What are we wagering?" The man held up a gold coin and said "If you manage to find it two more times without fail I will give you this coin, but if you lose you give me a gold coin." Thomas shrugged and said "Alright." The man placed the ball under the cup and asked "Are you ready?" Thomas nodded as the man swapped the cups around even faster then before. As he stopped moving the cups Thomas pointed to the one in the middle and said "It's that one." The man lifted the cup and said "Maybe we should try something harder?" Thomas stared at him and asked "Like what?" The man pulled out two more cups and said "I'll triple what I offered if you manage to find it." Thomas smiled and said "Alright." Ocis stared at Thomas and asked "Are you sure you can win this." Thomas shrugged and said "I don't see why not." The man placed the ball under a cup and began to shuffle the cups around with much more speed then last time. Once the man stopped moving the cups Thomas pointed to the one furthest left and said "It's in that one." The man lifted the cup and said "You are correct yet again." The man held out three gold coins and said "So far Your the only one who's managed to best me." Thomas grabbed the three gold coins and said "Is that so." As Poppy reappeared on Thomas's shoulder completely dizzy she said "I'm not hiding in those cups again." Thomas put the coins in the sub space and glanced at Ocis as she said "I could've never won this game." Thomas smiled and said "I wouldn't worry about it too much." Ocis grabbed Thomas's arm and said "Come on there's more games we can play." Ocis pointed to another stall and said "This one is arm wrestling, but I can't play because I don't have fingers." Thomas stared at the orc man sitting inside the stall and said "I'm pretty sure I'd lose if I did that one." As Thomas felt someone tap his shoulder he glanced behind himself and seen Scarlett. Thomas smiled and said "What's up." Scarlett stared at his eye and asked "Are you alright?" Ocis let go of Thomas as they both turned around Thomas said "I'm better then alright, I just won three gold coins." Ocis pointed to the same stall and asked "Could Scarlett beat the arm wrestling stall?" Thomas shrugged and said "She has more of a chance then me." Ocis stared at him and said "Well that's because you have two talisman on you that equal four hundred pounds." Thomas froze for a moment and asked "Where did the other three hundred pounds come from?" Scarlett stared at him and said "Ceil places it on you when you were drunk." Ocis grabbed onto Scarlett's arm and said "Forget the talismans for now we should go see if you can beat the orc in arm wrestling." As Ocis dragged Scarlett to the stall Thomas followed them as Poppy stared at Thomas and asked "Did you really not notice the increase in weight?" Thomas shrugged and said "I guess I feel a bit heavier then usual." As they stood in front of the stall the orc stared at Scarlett and asked "Are you all participating?" Ocis shook her head and said "Unfortunately I can't." Scarlett nodded and said "I would like to participate." Thomas shrugged and said "I'll try to I guess." Poppy stared at Thomas and said "But I thought you said you'd lose." Thomas smiled and said "I'll probably lose but it's still fun to try." The orc man smiled and said "So your one of those who don't have an issue with a lose." Scarlett sat down and said "I shall go first." The orc grabbed her hand and said "Whenever your ready just begin." Scarlett began to push on the orc's hand as hard as she could but the orc man sat there unamused by her attempt. The orc man pushed her hand down and beat her easily. As he stared at Thomas he said "I'm sure you'd be more of a challenge since you won the festivals tournament." Thomas sat down and grabbed his hand as he said "Nah during the festival I had spells to back me up." The orc man smiled and said "Wanna place a little bet?" Thomas stared at him and asked "What kind?" The orc man leaned towards Thomas and said "You can use your spells and what not but the loser has to pay a gold coin to the winner." Thomas smiled and said "Alright your on." Thomas smiles and said "Aura release." As the aura surrounded Thomas the orc man asked "Are you ready?" Thomas nodded as they both began to push. The orc man smiled and said "Your not half bad." Thomas's aura began to expand as he said "I'm only using a small amount of mana right now." The orc man smiled and said "What a coincidence, I'm only using a small amount of my strength." As the match continued Thomas's aura covered the entire stall as he slammed the orc's hand onto the the table. The orc man smiled and said "I never would've guessed that a demi human could beat an orc in terms of strength." The orc man handed Thomas a gold coin and said "That was quite enjoyable." Thomas sighed and said "Any longer and my mana would've given out." Scarlett stared at him and said "You've been using a lot of mana today, maybe you should stop using it for a while." Thomas stood up and said "I guess your right." The orc man stared at Scarlett and said "I'm actually a little disappointed." Scarlett stared at him and asked "Why's that?" The orc man smiled and said "You were holding back." Scarlett stared at him and said "You knew?" The orc man smiled and said "I have faith in my strength but I can tell if you were really trying to beat me you would've done so easily." Ocis stared at the orc man and said "That was a really cool match." Scarlett glanced at Thomas and said "Now that you've had your fun we should find the others." Thomas sent the gold coin to the sub space and said "Yeah that sounds good." Scarlett walked towards Thomas and said "They should be at the inn." Ocis grabbed onto Thomas's arm and said "Let's go tell the others about you winning four gold coins." Scarlett stared at Thomas and asked "How did you win the first three?" Thomas pointed to the cup game and said "I won that game." Scarlett stared at the man in the stand and said "I wasn't able to find the ball." Ocis smiled and said "Thomas managed to find it all three times." Poppy glared at them and said "With my help." Thomas glanced at Poppy and whispered "Remember none of them know you exist." Poppy sighed and said "Yeah I know, but you wouldn't have won without me." Thomas glanced at her and said "I know, thanks." Poppy smiled and asked "So what's that book you won about anyway?" Thomas shrugged and whispered to her "It's something about transferring consciousness." Thomas smiled and whispered "I have a plan but I'm not sure if it'll work." Poppy stared at him confused and asked "What's your plan?" Thomas whispered to her "You'll just have to wait and see." Poppy sighed and said "But it's way easier if you just tell me." As they arrived in the inn the others all stared at Thomas and asked "Are you going to be alright?" Thomas nodded and said "I'm doing fine so far." Daisy sighed and said "Yeah but if we weren't around you would've just ignored the injury." Thomas sat down on a bed and said "Yeah, your right."
