As they left the village Thomas glanced at Lily and asked "Are you gonna tell me why we had to leave right away?" Lily nodded and excitedly said "An orc passed by and recognized us, he told us about his village that's having a festival tomorrow but we can make the trip in half a day if we hurry." Poppy glanced at Thomas and said "I don't recall you having any memories of a festival." Thomas glanced at her and thought "Well technically I have although that festival was just a tournament." Poppy nodded and said "I suppose your right." Poppy stood up and said "We shall both enjoy the festival together then." As Poppy Day down Ocis grabbed onto Thomas's arm and said "I heard that orc festivals attract tons of strong people." Daisy glanced at her and said "They normally do, if an orc village holds a festival there will likely be a tournament." Peri and Ceil stared at her and asked "Would it be alright if we participated?" Daisy stared at them and said "Do what you want." Scarlett glanced at her and said "I will be looking through the stalls for items that may help us on our travels." Ocis glanced at Thomas and asked "What are you gonna do?" Thomas shrugged and said "I don't know." Peri and Ceil glanced at Thomas and said "If you enter the tournament we might as well withdraw." Thomas glanced around them and said "Withdrawing seems pointless, think of it this way if you fight you can learn something from it ." Lily stared at Thomas and said "If you learn something from your fights tell me what you learnt." Thomas stared at her and said "I've learnt that it hurts like hell to be stabbed." Lily glared at him and asked "Do you really think that's a learning experience?" Thomas shrugged and said "Learning or not its true." After walking for a while they arrived in the village. Lily smiled and said "The orcs here speak Tennekhi so don't worry about being able to understand them." Thomas glanced at her and said "Well that's a relief." Lily started to walk towards a building as she said "I'm gonna rent an inn." The others started to follow here as they said "I wonder what an orc inn looks like?" Thomas glanced at Poppy and said "Well I guess it's just you and me now." Poppy nodded and said "We should check out some of the shops." Thomas stared at her and asked "Are you able to wonder around on your own?" She nodded and said "I can but there is a limited distance on how far away I can go from you." Poppy stood up and said "It's like I'm tethered to you by an invisible string." Thomas held out his hand and said "Well since we got some free time I might as well polish up on my storage magic." As the book appeared in his hand a orc man walked towards Thomas and said "Storage magic isn't really a common thing." The orc stared at Thomas and said "Despite it only being a tier three spell it's not something just anyone can do." Poppy glanced at Thomas and asked "Who is this man?" Thomas whispered "I don't know but he seems interested in the magic." The orc man waved and said "Don't mind me I'm just admiring the strength of some of you people passing by." The orc waved at them and said "Well enjoy your time here in Urrad." Thomas glanced at Poppy and said "Guess he's just some guy that lives here." Poppy nodded and said "If your going to read could you at least sit outside of a shop?" Thomas started to walk towards a shop and said "I take it you wanna look around while I read?" Poppy nodded and said "I can explore the shops while you read and tell you about what they're selling." Thomas sat down outside of a weapons shop and said "Alright I'm gonna start reading." Poppy stood outside the door and waited for someone to walk out of the door and then quickly ran in. As Poppy looked around she said "This might be harder then I though." Poppy ran towards a table and began to climb its leg. Once she got to the top she began to observe the weapons. Poppy sighed and said "From his memories he probably won't even bother using these things unless something serious comes up." Poppy walked across the table and said "Well he might use it." Poppy stopped walking and stared at a short sword. Poppy walked towards the price and said "Only five silvers for this?" Poppy hopped off of the table and ran towards the door as she said "He should get it just in case." As someone opened the door Poppy ran towards Thomas and said "I found something you should get!" Thomas closed the book and said "Apparently the bigger the object the more mana it costs." Poppy began to climb up to Thomas's shoulder and said "Ok but we should buy that short sword." Thomas stood up and put the book back into the storage as he said "Okay just point me in the right direction." As Thomas entered the store Poppy pointed towards a sword and said "Its right there on the table for five silvers." Thomas picked up the sword and looked at it for a few seconds before walking towards the man who ran the shop and saying "I'll take it." The man said "That'll be five silvers." Thomas held out his hand in a fist and when he opened it five silver coins appeared in it. Thomas set the coins down on the counter and walked out as the man stared at Thomas confused and said "Was he holding coins?" As Thomas exited the shop Poppy stared at the sword and said "Just by observing your fighting style you like to be able to move freely and so a short sword makes perfect sense." Thomas held the sword out and put it in storage as he said "The weapon doesn't matter as long as it gets the job done." Poppy stared at him and asked "Are you talking about killing?" Thomas nodded as Poppy said "I've been reducing the amount a guilt you feel towards killing." Thomas stared at her surprised as she said "This is the reason why you only feel bad for killing them a few seconds after and whenever it's brought up." Poppy smiled and said "So long as I'm a part of you I can control most of your memories and help control some of your emotions." Thomas started to walk towards the building he seen Lily and the others enter as he said "So your the reason killing doesn't bother me?" Poppy nodded and said "Even if I didn't you would've gotten used to it eventually." As Thomas entered the inn he noticed Ocis sitting at a table by herself. Thomas walked towards her as she raised her wing and said "Great timing I just entered you into the tournament!" Thomas sat down beside her and asked "Why?" Ocis smiled and said "You normally enjoy fighting so I figured I take it upon myself to sign you up!" Ocis stared at Thomas and said "But I didn't know your age so I put it as twenty." Ocis stared at Thomas and said "Weapons are allowed and injuries gotten from the fights will be treated by the staff." Thomas stared at her and asked "Are you gonna participate to?" Ocis shook her head and said "I agreed to help Scarlett shop but don't worry I plan to watch all of your matches!" Poppy hopped off of his shoulder and onto the table and said "I'll be watching from the sidelines too!" Thomas yawned and said "Guess I should store up some mana then." Ocis grabbed onto Thomas's arm and said "Let me know if you need any help before and after the tournament matches." Thomas glanced at her and said "But you just said that they'd have doctors on standby." Ocis glanced at him and said "They do that's why I'm gonna be your moral support." Poppy stared at Thomas and said "I can be a much better moral support then her." Thomas Lerner back and said "I'll be counting on your support then." Poppy climbed up to Thomas's shoulder and asked "What are you going to do in the mean time?" Thomas stood up and said "I'm gonna go to the room and relax." As Thomas walked away Ocis said "I'll come to the room in a few minutes." As Thomas entered the room Peri was laying on the bed and said "Me and Ceil heard that Ocis signed you up so we dropped out of the competition." Thomas sat down beside her and said "Dunno why you did that." Peru stared at Thomas and said "With you applying we don't stand a chance." Thomas stared at her and said "Who cares if you win or lose, this is great way to put your skills to the test." Thomas glanced away and said "Besides I also was unaware that I was signed up."
