Lily stared at Thomas and asked "So what other spells do you got?" Thomas stared at her with a blank expression as he said "Other spells?" Lily stared at him and asked "Wait were you serious about spending all yesterday on that stupid spell?" Thomas stared at her and said "I'm sure it's not totally useless." Thomas walked towards the door and said "Fine I'll go learn a spell that isn't useless or something." Lily watches as he left as she mumbled "What was the point in coming back here if he was just going to leave?" Thomas opened the door and said "That's because I'm actually planning to grab a quest off of the board from here." Thomas closed the door and said "I spent a whole day learning that spell she could at least give me some credit." Thomas stood in front of the board and mumbled "Theirs no point in complaining, I'll just choose a quest and forget about it." Thomas grabbed a quest at random and said "I'm sure my spell isn't totally useless, I just have to find a way to use it." Thomas left the building and glanced at the paper. After seeing what it required he mumbled "I'm suppose to help train people by sparring with them?" Thomas sighed and said "Sparring should be fine." Thomas glanced at the reward and said "fifteen silver coins is a decent pay too." Thomas stared at the paper and said "They want me to meet at some guild place?" Thomas walked up to someone showing them the paper and asked "Do you know where I can find this place?" After staring at the paper she pointed towards a building and said "Last I checked they live there." Thomas thanked her and ran towards the building. As he opened the door three men turned and stared at him. After seeing he was a demi human they all grabbed their weapons and said "State your business here." Thomas held up the piece of paper and said "I'm here for this." The three men smiled and said "So a demi human choose to train his rivals." Thomas stared at them confused as he said "Well where are the recruits?" The three men glared at Thomas and said "For a demi human your awfully cocky." Thomas stared at the man and said "If your not gonna get your recruits I could just leave and grab a different quest." One of the men walked towards Thomas and asked "What makes you think your good enough to show our recruit the ropes?" Thomas shrugged and said "I'm just trying to do this quest so stop trying to give me a hard time." The man leaned down and stared Thomas in the face as he said "Answer my question." Thomas smiled and said "Just remember you asked for this." The man stared at Thomas and asked "How does that answer my question?" Thomas grabbed the man by his shirt and threw him at the wall. Thomas glared at the other two men and asked "Where are the recruits?" The two man drew their weapons and asked "Why did you attack him?" Thomas stared at the two annoyed as he said "I came here to help the recruits, if your not gonna take me to them then your simply in my way." The man Thomas threw at the wall began to stand up as he said "I see, your not just here because you have guts." Thomas turned to the man and asked "Where are the recruits?" The man pointed to a door and said "We have two recruits, please do what you can to improve them." Thomas walked towards the door as the two men stood there shocked. As Thomas opened the door he said "Alright let's see what we're working with." Thomas stared at the two recruits who were both female as he said "Let's see." Thomas sniffed the air and said "Both of you can use magic." They stared at him and said "We won't let some demi human train us." Thomas walked towards both of them and asked "Since when were demi humans more hated then demons?" They stared at him and said "Ever since your kind came to this town they've been causing other guilds problems, so what are you after?" Thomas held up a paper and said "I'm after the fifteen silver, and if you cooperate that'd be great." One of the girls stood up and said "Well we refuse to let you train us so you might as well go somewhere else." Thomas sighed and asked "Why is being a demi human such a pain?" Thomas put his hands on their heads and said "I'm going to train you no matter what you say but I agree on going somewhere else." Thomas smiled and teleported them to a nearby field. As they teleported the girl who was originally seated fell to the ground. Thomas turned around and walked away from them as he said "First off lets start with some simple sparring." They both stood there and glared at him as they said "You can't just show up and expect us to listen to you." Thomas glanced at them and said "Start whenever you'd like." They glared at him completely annoyed as they said "Stop bossing is around." Thomas stared at them and said "If you won't start I will." As Thomas said this they took fighting stances and asked "What makes you think you can take on both of us?" Thomas tilted his head and said "Well if I had to say, I'd probably be the fact that I would've killed two people yesterday and one today." Thomas stared at them and said "Oh but don't worry those people are alive thanks to some unseen circumstances." The two girls stared at Thomas and asked "What makes you think we're as weak as those people you ran into?" Thomas stood there and said "Well right now I have less then half my mana, you two actually have a better chance of winning." The two girls smiled and said "Then you know your beat." Thomas smiled and said "Of course not, the only reason you have an advantage is because I'm not allowed to kill you." The two girls stared at Thomas annoyed and shouted "If we hit you we're going for the kill." Thomas shrugged and said "Do what you want just know that you won't win." One of the girls dashed towards Thomas and shouted "We'll see about that." Thomas day down and said "Yeah, I guess I'll have to prove it to you." The other girl held one of her hands out and shouted "Fire ball!" Thomas glanced at her and said "That fire attack is honestly weaker then the one that lamia tried on me." The other girl swung her sword at Thomas and shouted "We'll kill you easily." Thomas leaned forward avoiding the blade as he said "Your much to slow, if you wanna hit me your gonna have to be much faster." As the other girls fire ball came towards Thomas he sat there and said "Your fireball lacks in mana, if you can focus more mana into it it would be much stronger." Thomas put his hand on the ground and created a dirt wall to take the impact of the fireball as he said "Your fireball couldn't even do damage to a dirt wall." The other girl glanced at Thomas and raised her sword above her head as she shouted "Killing you is still better then listening to you." As she swung the sword down Thomas kicked her feet out from under her knocking her to the ground as he said "You left yourself wide open." Thomas stood up and said "You people think your so much better then demi humans and yet you can't even beat me despite ranting on and on about it." Thomas stared at both of them and said "You two need a serious power increase." They stared at him and said "I suppose you can do better?" Thomas shrugged and said "I suppose I could." The girls walked towards Thomas and said "If your so high and mighty prove it to us." Thomas stared at them and said "Let me borrow your sword real quick." She handed Thomas the sword and sarcastically said "Show is your unfathomable power." Thomas held the sword and walked towards a tree as he said "Watch closely." Thomas swung the sword once and cut the tree down with ease as he said "You need to focus more on power and precision." Thomas handed her the sword and said "Now if we're talking about magical attacks you need to stop being afraid of using up all of your mana." Thomas aimed his hand at another tree and said "Another thing I noticed about your spell is that your aim was a bit off." Thomas smiles and said "Water bolt." As Thomas said this he blasted a hole through the tree and said "If you are actually trying to kill someone you'd have better luck using all of your mana rather a small amount for each attack." They stared at Thomas in amazement as they asked "How can a demi human have such power?" They glanced at each other and nodded as they turned back to Thomas and said "We've come to an agreement and we've decided that we'll let you train us." Thomas smiled and said "Let's see if you can keep up."
