Chapter 90 - Chapter 90 Ent Quest Complete

Thomas glared at the ent as he asked "How many have you killed?" The ent waved his arms around as he shouted "I only killed a small number compared to the amount of my brethren you chopped down with your axes." Thomas stood their holding the dagger as he mumbled "Punching it did nothing." Lily began to chant some words as Thomas began to run towards the ent while saying "You didn't answer my question." Thomas swung the dagger into the ents leg as the dagger stuck their Thomas began to pull it out while the ent shouted "I have killed dozens of people like her." Thomas stared at him as he asked "You killed kids?" The ent swiped Thomas away as he said "The humans I killed were all bigger and more hideous." Thomas quickly got back onto his feet as he let out a sigh of relief and said "For a moment I thought you were killing children." The ent began to walk towards Thomas as he said "I have yet to kill a demi human but I'm sure your no different from a human." Thomas hopped away still clutching the dagger as he asked "What's the limit?" The ent continued to walk towards Thomas as he confusedly asked "What limit are you talking about?" Thomas glanced at Lily as he asked "I wanna know your limit on killing, I wanna know if theirs a limit to how many you'll kill." The tree raised its hand and smashed it into the ground causing it to crack as he shouted "I will kill all who harm the forest!" Thomas ran up the ent's arm and plunged the dagger into one of the ents wooden eyes as he shouted "Leaf me alone!" The ent glanced at Thomas as it shouted "Your pathetic attempts to harm me have all failed." Thomas began to twirl the dagger as he asked "Did stabbing you in the eye really do nothing?" The ent put a hand to his eye and looked at it. The ent seen sap on his hand as he shouted "You've managed to make me bleed!" Thomas stared at his hand confused as he asked "Where's the blood?" Lily glanced at Thomas and activated the spell on him as she shouted "Ents bleed sap!" Thomas glanced at her as he watched her began to fall he quickly dashed over to her. The ent watched as Thomas caught her as he said "Your moving faster then I can see but don't think that means I won't kill you." Thomas began to walk towards a nearby tree and set Lily down on it as he smiled and said "Normally I'm the one to use up all my mana." Lily laughed as she said "Now I know how you feel all the time." Thomas stared at her blankly as he said "I don't waste my mana all the time." Lily glanced at the ent as she said "Go defeat him already." Thomas stood up and smiled as he vanished and appeared behind the ents leg. Thomas jabbed the back of the ents leg knocking it to the ground as he asked "How much sap do you have to bleed until you run dry?" The ent slowly fell as it shouted "I'll kill you before you can find out!" Thomas appeared in front of the ent with the dagger as he twirled the dagger faster and faster as he asked "Do you think if I spin this fast enough it'll have the same effect as a saw?" The ent continued to fall slowly as it shouted "You bastard!" Thomas continued to spin the dagger as he put it up to the ent's arm and said "Let's find out." As soon as the dagger came in contact with the ents shoulder the knife immediately stuck into him and he began to bleed more sap as he shouted out in pain. Thomas glared at the injury as he said "Heh guess the tree does scream when it falls." Thomas pulled the dagger out and began to twirl it some more as he walked to the ent's head and said "Under normal circumstances you would've beaten me, however I had speed going for me thanks to Lily and a weapon." Thomas quit twirling the dagger and gripped it as he pierced the dagger straight through what should be the ent's head. Thomas began to walk towards Lily as he asked "Are you alright?" Lily smiled as she said "I'm fine." Thomas picked her up and began to walk back out of the forest as Lily asked "How bad did the ent hurt you?" Thomas sighed as he stopped walking and said "I'm fine." Lily glanced at his arm and seen blood under the sleeve as she mumbled "You liar." Thomas teleported them both back to the tavern as he stared at the person behind the counter and said "Your ent problems been dealt with." The lady stared at Lily and Thomas as she asked "Are you two alright?" Thomas glanced at Lily as he said "She over used her mana and I'm fine." Lily glared at him as she said "Don't listen to him he's super injured and refuses to admit it." The lady stared at them confused as she muttered "I see." As she handed them each their bags of money Thomas heard a familiar voice call his name as he turned around and seen Daisy, Scarlett, and Ocis standing their. Thomas stared at Daisy as he mumbled "She definitely already seen the blood on the back of my jacket." Daisy began to walk towards Thomas as she grabbed Lily and asked "What happened to her?" Thomas began to slowly walk away as he mumbled "She hasn't noticed my injuries yet." Lily glanced at Thomas and said "I over used my mana but he fell out of a tree and landed pretty hard and took two heavy hits from an ent." Thomas froze as he mumbled "I should've just ran for it." Daisy began to walk towards Thomas as she angrily yelled "Do you have any idea how many times I've had to tend to your injuries?" Thomas stared at her as he said "I didn't mean to?" Daisy punched him as she asked "How did you fall out of a tree?" Lily glanced at her as she said "Falling our of the tree was my fault." Daisy glanced at Lily as she asked "How did he fall out of a tree?" Lily glanced at Thomas and said "I gave him a command to stop while he was in the air and the shock from the seal knocked him to the ground, as he fell he shielded me and took most of the impact." As Lily explained this Thomas began to slowly walk away once again as he mumbled "Please don't notice me." Daisy turned around and grabbed Thomas by his jacket as she said "Your not out of the woods yet." Thomas slowly turned to look at her as he said "Actually we just left the woods." Daisy punched him once more as she said "That's not what I meant." Ocis approached Thomas as she said "Please don't push yourself." Thomas stared at her as he said "I'll do my best to avoid that." Ocis smiled as she said "We can help you next time." Thomas stared at Ocis as he said "I'd prefer to handle my problems on my own." Scarlett stared at him as she said "We are a team we shall handle each other's problems together." Thomas stared at her as Daisy said "Follow me I'll treat your wounds." Thomas glanced at Daisy as he said "I already have them wrapped." Daisy walked towards Thomas and lifted his shirt as she said "This is nothing but a patch job, I still need to apply some remedies so you'll heal faster." Thomas began to slowly back away again as he said "But those sting." Scarlett watched as Daisy drug him out of the tavern as she said "He will jump in front of people attacking but refuses to let someone help him with medical equipment." Lily glanced at Scarlett as she said "If I were him I'd rather get the medical treatment." Scarlett nodded as she said "I agree being stabbed everyday would be much more painful then getting a medical treatment everyday." Ocis glanced at them as she asked "How long will Lily be unable to move?" Scarlett looked down at her as she said "Her physical strength should be back in a day but her mana probably won't be back for at least another two." Lily glanced at them as she asked "Can you drop me off at the inn?" Scarlett nodded as she glanced at Ocis and said "I will be back shortly." As Scarlett left the building Thomas walked in shortly after and asked Ocis "Where did the others go?" Ocis pointed her wing towards the door as she said "Lily and Scarlett went back to the inn." Daisy walked up behind Thomas as she put her hand on his shoulder and said "Don't do anything stupid okay, I'd prefer you'd leave this town in one piece." Thomas sighed as he walked out of the building while saying "I don't intend to die."
