Chapter 18 - Press Conference

One day before the press conference, Ankit decided to do something.

"Nanu, send the anti-gravity technology theory papers I edited to the International Journal of theoretical physics. Send it under my name.", Ankit said.

Keep in mind, this was just the theory part. According to normal sense, it would take people 10 to 15 years to even build an anti-gravity theory while things like gravity chambers and such at least 3 to 4 decades.

Ankit then resumed his work on the quantum camoflouge technology. The quantum camoflouge or stealth technology was based on designing a material that renders an object completely undetectable or invisible by bending light waves around the target and absorbing any electromagnetic emissions directed at it. The material also reveals the infrared and thermal signature along with the object's shadow.

Imagine an anti-gravity spacecraft that could reach any part of the world within an hour while staying undetected. Also, combat robots draped with this material, this could be the perfect asassin for anyone you might wanna 'take care of'.

Ever since Ankit had joined the research team, it was like no problem was worth mentioning. He could just brainstorm his way out of any problems during research.

The next day, in a conference room in Galaxy technology,

Ankit stood in front of the tens of reporters while wearing a suit. He said, "Hello ladies and gentlemen. My name is Ankit Alderson. I am the chairman and owner of Galaxy technology holdings."

The reporters were excited and intently listening to the things said by Ankit. After all, the first official public appearance of the owner of the Galaxy technology.

This company was the fastest growing company and was taking the world by storm.

But wait, these people don't even know about the release of the robots and atomic matrix battery. Once that news is released, the company might as well be dubbed the wealthiest company in the world.

The current wealthiest company is Walmart with stats showing a revenue of over $ 600 billion but Galaxy technology has revenue exceeding $1.5 trillion.

But, of course the over $1.2 trillion was the revenue generated by sales of robots and atomic matrix battery next year and would not be counted in this year's turnover. But a little more development time and in a few years, you might as well say that galaxy technology is Umbrella.

"Today, we are all here for the release of our new products. As everyone knows, we indeed supply military robots to the US military and it's allies. We have come up with these.", Ankit said while a robot walked out from the back and stood beside him.

"This is our first model of home robot called A-1. It can cook, wash, do dishes, take out trash, go grocery shopping, call the ambulance incase of medical emergencies, take care of children and elderly and even do hand to hand with people that threaten you. It is in simple words, a family member that can adjust with your family."

"I have one at my house. It takes care of my wife and is good at his job. You can connect it to the AI of your Galaxy OS and help you."

"As for the price of the A-1, it will be announced on the day of it's sales, which will be after exactly 1 week."

"Sir… ", alot of reporters called out, thinking that the whole product release speech was over.

"I'm not finished, guys. The questions will have to wait for now.", Ankit said.

He then continued, "The second product is the atomic matrix battery produced by our company. We have currently cooperated with various auto manufacturers to provide them with superior capacity batteries to manufacture long range electric vehicles. We are also going to sell the small sized battery on our website. Anyone can buy from us. The minimun no. of batteries is 1 while the maximum for an individual is 100. The number varies for organizations which is 1,000 to 1 million. If anyone wishes to buy more, it can be discussed with the company."

He then went on over various other things and talker for few more minutes and ended the speech.

"I will answer all of your questions now. A question per person. ", The reporters were naturally happy.

"You. Yes, sir you the guy from CNN.", Ankit pointed out the reporter from CNN.

"Mr. Alderson, what are your thoughts on the rapid development of your company? As far as we know, it has only been a little more than half a year since your company has been established?"

"What is real will prosper.", Ankit replied.

"We are all about changing people's lives and improving their quality of life. All we do is for human welfare. I believe our customers get that and support us. That's why we can become what we have become at this fast speed. Also, call me Ankit.", Ankit added.

"Miss, you.", Ankit said while pointing at the reporter from Fox News. (foxy girl bruh😂😂lol)

"Mr. Ankit, what are your thoughts on effects brought by these two technologies just released by your company?", she asked.

"Well, the increased battery capacity will surely increase the number of electric vehicles on road and maybe eventually clear out the convential vehicles. This is will greatly control the pollution and control global warming. On the long term, this is very benificial for humanity. Also, the robots will increase the living standard of people and keep people safe and take care of them. These are comanions people can and must have."

"You, please.", Ankit said while pointing at the reporter from NHK network.

"Mr. Ankit, you earlier said that the home robot A-1 could perform defense and save people from being harmed? Will it harm other humans on it's owner's instruction?", the japenese reporter asked.

"Well, this is not possible. The robot only apprehends people who try to attack other humans while prioritizing his owner. But it will not attack anyone even if it is ordered by his own owner. The robot's AI has complex AI that will work based on rules preset that tell it that it that harming humans is prohibited while saving humans if they are ever in danger."

"You, sir.", Ankit said while pointing at the reporter from MSNBC.

"Mr. Alderon, what are your thoughts on the future direction of your company? What research are you guys over there carrying out? You said galaxy technology works to bring us, humans to the future. How do you intend on keeping your promise?"
