The year is 2063, 51 years ago, we discovered the manual of providence, an ancient, pictorial-ish manual, containing the summary of the technology and history of an ancient civilisation, and of what we did decode we found 2 technologies, that became known as the eon tech. Eon sourcing, as it became know, and eon drive. These technologies allowed for the production of energy from the breaking down of quantum entanglement and the abilityto travel at immense speed via shifting into a universe where everything travels at a speed far greater than it is possible to travel at in our universe.
The third thing to be decoded from the manual of providence was the eon ethos, a dire history and guide to Arsk-lark, a species that lived billions of years ago, it told of their history, their demise and contained a dire warning that roughly translated to:
You who have read this, take heed and listen, let the Arsk-lark not have lived in vein, for our doom is yours, and only you can change it.
The passage then goes on to list the faults of Arsk-lark, and how they must be avoided in what is now know as.
