Chapter 3 - Chapter Three:

got the reaction I wanted, some of the slaved smiled. Which was all I hoped for at the moment. The Curator, what all of us called the boss of the Crackers. Kept talking and making speeches, making me roll my eyes impatiently.

"Wont he hurry up?" I mumbled, messing with my chains.

The Captain's eyes locked on me.

"I thought you couldn't speak the common tongue. What the hell are you in a hurry for?" He said lowly, not wanting to interrupt the Curator- Making me smirk. Such a well raised official...

"Such a good boy, did your father teach you not to talk over people?" I said in return, a gleam in my eyes. My plan was ready, all i had to do was set it in motion.

"You have no room to talk. Shut up already, you god dam psychopath." The Captain said, his grip on his sword tightening.

"No, I'm not a psychopath. Just a crazy son of a bitch. But of course, I'm certain you've never seen a day of crazy in your privileged life. Have you? Captain." I said, continuing to mess with my chains.

The Captain opened his mouth to answer but I was finished talking. A click sound came from my chains and I silently praised myself. Swinging my chains around. I wrapped them around the Captains neck tightly.

"Okay, let's get this over with. I tire of my life being threatened." I said loudly, making all eyes fall on me.

Gasps and whispers went through the crowd as they saw the Captain clutching the chain wrapped around his neck, cutting off his air supply. The Curator glared and made a motion with his hands, making the Crackers advance on me. I only smirked and tightened the chain around the Captains neck.

"I should warn you, in a second I could break the Captains neck. Wouldn't that be tragic? The Captain of the royal guard dying by a mere criminal?" I stated loudly again.

The Crackers stopped for a moment and glanced at the Curator. This was too easy... was there a hidden agenda? Why weren't there arrows in my spine by now? My mind raced, but I kept my expression calm and poised.

"God dam murder. Release the Captain and meet your fate." He said, eyes narrowing.

Ah... now I knew why. This was a show to him, it would look bad if the Captain was hurt in a slave camp. How sentimental...

"Now, now. Let's play nice. Ill release the Captain, if you release the slaves. All of them." I said, pressing my body close to the Captain's so if they shot me- it would go through me and hit the Captain as well.

"You're in no position to make demands." The Curator said, taking a step forward.

"Good to know that you'd rather the Captain die, very well-" I said, messing with the chain for a moment.

This was going to be fun; I call his bluff.

"Wait."

A voice sounded out from somewhere in the crowd of the royal court, drawing my attention. The entire crowd went silent in a second. Who, just by speaking- could silence an entire crowd?

"Oh..?" I said, acting bored.

A man stepped forward and my breath caught in my throat. Oh shit, I am so screwed. He had silky black hair and deep blue eyes, he was lean yet strong- and carried himself with pride. A rose gold and silver crown rested on his head, embroidered with complicated designs... the crown prince.

"So, the 'prince' has come to save the day, how wonderful." I said with pure sarcasm, venom dripping from my voice. My hatred wasn't faked, this man... I would kill with my bare hands. He gave the order to storm Galoroth, and kill my people.

"You anticipated my arrival?" The Prince said, raising an eyebrow.

I felt my anger go to its climax.

"Who am I kidding? Let's not get over overzealous here, you've always been a huge piece of shit. If I could kill you, I would. But as the current situation states, having said that. Burn in hell, you piece of Royal trash." I said, my grip tightening on the chains.

The Prince blinked for a moment, probably never being insulted with such an onslaught before. Well, he'd get used to it.

"You... just..." The prince said, unable to form a sentence.

I burst out laughing.

This was... amazingly funny.
