In the car leading outside of Min mansion, Adamson sat behind while beginning to start working on his laptop. He was a chairman who also held the position as a CEO. So he was extremely busy.
He had given Aubrey the job as a consultant to train him in Lee family's line of business. Aubrey had been forced to study business and he was surprisingly more capable than anticipated. Adamson remembered the first task he ever gave Aubrey was to redo a multi-million contract that was flawed in management and budget count.
Aubrey had no choice but to do it, he didn't want to be choked to death at that time. Adamson threatened to kill him if he didn't abide.
"Chairman Lee, we will drive back to the company.", the driver said. It was a norm for him to state where the next destination was.
Adamson was silent. His fingers stopped typing on the laptop. He took out his phone and pressed number four on speed dial. The call went in. A man answered within the first ring.
"Have you find him?", his voice stern.
"Based on the last GPS track from the device before its shutdown, we found him going to the west from the hospital. We're still searching the area since it's too big.", the head bodyguard explained. He was scared to death when he got the sudden call.
Adamson hung up the phone before the bodyguard could continue. His face was hard to picture. The surrounding inside the car started to become chilly. The driver gulped in horror.

The dance ended. Liam let go of his hold on Lucy's waist and she did the same too. They bowed to each other slightly. Lucy didn't want to stay any longer as she had fulfill her promise to help Olivia.
She was about to go home but she couldn't find Olivia anywhere. Liam saw some of the familiar women who always chase after him came towards them. He cursed and grabbed Lucy's hand.
"You want to go home right? Let me show you outside.", he pulled her away from the dance floor.
"Huh?", Lucy couldn't utter a word when she was pulled along.
They were now near the entrance, Liam let go of her hand while he looked around. Good, he lost them. Lucy quickly understood his actions. She sighed.
"Why are you so kind towards them if you don't like it?", she asked him, confused.
"Because it would hurt my pride. I'm not their enemy but neither am I their property.", he said, a smile graced his cheeky but handsome face.
Lucy shook her head. Such a ridiculous idea.
'Then suffer by yourself and don't involve me!', she wanted to roll her eyes but stopped.
"You should go. I'll tell Olivia.", Liam went ahead to the other side of the hallway, obviously not the way to the party.
Lucy nodded. It was a good chance to sneak away when Olivia wasn't watching. If she was, then god knows how much longer Lucy would be forced to stay.
She went outside only to see that her car was ready for her. She walked elegantly towards the Bugatti, minding her dress for every step she took. The hired valet showed her the way to the driver's seat and she smiled.
"Thanks.", she drove away.

Lucy stepped inside the house which was dark. She just arrived at home. Her hand had a plastic bag full of potato chips of different flavors. And the other hand held some light dinner for Aubrey and her.
She forgot to buy kitchen ingredients at the supermarket though it was her initial plan before she took the days off. Now she wasn't able to since tomorrow was the start of her job again.
'I thought three days are enough..', now she doubted it.
She went straight to Aubrey's room (previously known as the guest room) and she instantly opened the door, without knocking again. Aubrey was laying down on the bed, playing with the PSP. He looked so engrossed in it, he then turned to Lucy. She smiled while saying 'I'm home'.
Aubrey got up from the bed and he gave a light nod and smiled too. He found it easy to smile whenever she was around.
"You must not eaten dinner yet. I'm sorry that there's nothing in the kitchen right now. I bought us some pizza!", Lucy held the plastic higher. She seemed excited.
Later, Aubrey took a seat on the couch in the living room. The pizza was served on the coffee table. Lucy was taking a shower upstairs. She went down twenty minutes later.
She sat beside Aubrey who was yet to touch the pizza. Was he waiting for her?
He gave a small paper to Lucy.
(I reheated the pizza. Hope you don't mind.)
"Why would I? Just make yourself at home! Now let's eat!", her smile was big. He was such a kind guy, and considerate too.
Lucy turned on the television, she had planned to play some games before going to bed. It was her last day off. She should make the best of it. The PS4 console was on.
"Let's play?", she smiled to Aubrey, her face full of hope. It was also one of her strategies to get Aubrey more comfortable with her.
Aubrey didn't want to let her down so he agreed. He took a controller from Lucy and they played an offline game together.
"No no! The enemy!"
"Yes! Yes!!!"
"By the barrel!"
"Shoot! Shoot them!"
"Damn!"
"We're going to make it!!"
"Hang on!"
Lucy was having so much fun she forgot to even sleep. She kept playing while munching on Pringles chips. Her eyes stilled on the screen. She handed some to Aubrey instinctively, he too didn't realize that he was munching some when she gave him the snack.
They managed to get past seven levels in four hours. It was already midnight by the time they stopped. Both were tired and sleepy. But they were having so much fun.
Aubrey had never felt this content before. He had always played alone to relieve his boredom and stresses. He was afraid to play online due to his own insecurities. But now that he finally got to know the taste of playing with a friend, he felt happy. Playing the PS4 was his only way to forget about his current bleak life and unknown future.
He turned to Lucy who had suddenly became quiet. She had dozed off. Her head swung around slightly before it reached for Aubrey's shoulder. She unconsciously got to the best position on his shoulder and slept.
"Mm.."
Aubrey froze. What should he do? She couldn't sleep well this way. He tried to wake her up and got her to sleep on the bed but she wasn't responding. He didn't know what to do.
When he moved just a little, she would frown and tried to rest her head on him properly. Aubrey got no choice but to let her be. He stood up in difficulty and went to his room.
A minute later, he came back with a blanket to cover her body. He rested her head slowly on the pillow, he didn't want to wake her up. He took a quiet gaze on her face for a while. She was beautiful even in her sleep. Her straight fringe fell right above her eyebrows. Some strands of hair went past her eyes and he pushed them away with his finger. And then he went to his room, a good vibe in his head.
