"I can't look into his mind, Hokage-sama!"
"What do you mean?"
"I can't read his mind or view his memories. I can't even detect his surface thoughts."
"How is that possible? He is just a civilian, isn't he?"
"All our sources say that he is. Even the tests conducted on his blood say the same. And that is not even the worst part. Even the Sharingan's genjutsu does not even take hold."
"This is troubling news, Inoichi-san."
"It is, but what are you going to do about it Hokage-sama." A new voice interjected.
"I am afraid, I do not know, Danzo."
"Pity. I f he were a ninja, it would have benefitted us greatly to have someone who is not affected by Genjutsu."
"It would have benefitted our enemies to have someone whose mind cannot be read by a Yamanaka!"
"If Genjutsu won't break him, then maybe Morino will."
"I am not having a civilian of Konoha sent to be tortured because his mind cannot be read."
"On the contrary," Homura said, "That would be the first thing you should have done, Sarutobi."
The Hokage seemed reluctant for a split second.
"Very well. Cat."
An ANBU appeared from the shadows and bowed before the aged man and flickered away.
Meanwhile…
'I need to escape from this prison, cell, whatever this place is.'
"Use your power! Make these mortals cower beneath you!"
'Shut up! You have seen how powerful they are. I need to learn those shouts first. Where do you get word walls and Dragon Souls in this world?'
"Fool! You are a Dov! The Thu'um is intrinsic to your Sil! You know the shouts from memory, you NERD! Your soul is stronger than the weak joor and their pitiful zii. Make them bow to your will. Three words is all you need!"
It was true. I think I know what the doors were now. They were choices I could take. I now wish I had taken the one on the right. The power to use the powers from the Doctor Strange movie would have been so much better than the Thu'um. Even the middle one, the black substance would have made me a living God among these Shinobi. After all, even the most powerful shinobi would fail to fight against a Great Old One or an Elder God summoned through the Necronomicon. Even Kaguya would fail to hurt Cthulu.
How I knew what was behind the other doors was that I realized what I wanted.
A Marvel fan, who LOVES Benedict Cumberbatch and reads H.P. Lovecraft and plays Skyrim for atleast 2 hours each day? Pfft! No shit, Sherlock.
"Hey, young man!"
"What?" I was pissed. I did not want to talk to some arrogant Uchiha right now.
"The ANBU are here to take you"
What! ANBU! Just for saying that I do not have my memories?
"Get up!"
I got up quickly. I would not try to go against ANBU.
Then I blacked out once more.
A few minutes later,
I woke up with my hands tied at my back tightly. I was seated in a chair made of wood.
A man with many scars sat in front of me in a chair of his own.
"Umm…hello?" I tried. Ibiki Morino, because that's who he was, just looked at me with a blank look and stood up and walked to the table on the far end, which I had failed to see, and started to remove torture implements one by one, mumbling things like "Not this…" or "Hmmm….maybe."
I will be honest. If I weren't the Dragonborn, I would have pissed myself in fear.
One Shout is enouh to kill him and destroy the entire village.
The thing about the Thu'um is, the games got it wrong. The Voice is like the Console commands for Nirn itself. All of Mundus yields to the Voice because it even affects Aetherius and even Sovngarde.
The Et'ada who became the Ehlnofey and turned into the Bones of the Earth, or parts of nature like Y'ffre could be commanded with the Voice.
There are no time limits to the Voice. The cooldown is basically your throat resting. That took...about 10-15 minutes in real life. The game mechanics for the voice is so underpowered compared to the real power of the Thu'um. This knowledge of the Words of Power was intrinsic to all Dov. The only constraint or limit of a Dragon's power is the strength of its Thu'um. Alduin was revered by the other Dragons not just because he was older than them and the firstborn of Akatosh himself, but for the fact that his Thu'um was far more powerful than any other dragon's. It was something about his soul being different and the fact that his purpose is to devour the entire World and to make way for a new Kalpa.
Now a Dragonborn is a being born specifically to HUNT dragons. The Last Dragonborn being prophesised to kill Alduin himself and bring the end to his tyrannous rule of the mortals of Nirn.
That meant that I, the Dragonborn had powers equal to that of Alduin, if not exceeding his.
Should I wish it, my Soul would grow stronger with use and age.
But even now, a single dragon is enough to destroy Konoha.
Dragons are NOT as small as the ones shown in TES:V or even ESO. They are beings that shatter reality with their voice (even if their voice is The Voice). Small hills cannot bury them fully! And I was technically a Dragon in human form.
"YES! Now kill the fool that dares to mutilate you!" The Dragon in me roared.
"Use the Voice. Make them suffer for trying to bind you."
'Not in here and not now.' I reply.
Ibiki finally decided that he would make do with a kunai.
He brought it close to my neck and traced a line and smirked sadistically.
I smirked back.
If he was surprised he did not show it.
"Who are you?"
"I do not know. I think I made that rather clear. Or are ninja actually too stupid to understand?"
He cut my cheek and said, "A cheeky young brat aren't you?"
"I'm more than a thousand years old you foolish Muz!" The dragon part of me shouted in my mind.
"Not that young, sir." I replied with just a slight dash of sarcasm.
"You are 16." He said without inflection.
"Really, now? So was Kakashi Hatake when he was a Jounin. Now if you tell me my name, I'll be complete."
This time the surprise was clear on his face, though he hid it quickly.
"Ryuji, orphaned during the Third Shinobi War at the age of three. Civilian parents who died in an ambush near the capital. Now it is your turn to tell me about yourself."
Ryuji, huh? That makes a lot of sense.
"Myself? Let me tell you something else...Ibiki Morino."
Oooh! He looks angry.
"Do you remember Kisame Hoshigaki?"
That made him stagger back and he looked like he wanted to tear me apart.
"How do you know this?"
"I'll tell you when we meet the next time, yeah?"
"There won't be a next time if you don't answer my questions!" He roared at me.
'FINE, if that's how you want to play, fool.'
"HUN KAAL ZOOR!"
I did not know which heroes the Call of Valor would bring. I did not care. A hero from the Pure Realm right now would mean that I get STRONG Shinobi whether I want them or not and they would fight for me whether they want to or not. A good deal in my opinion is one where you lose nothing and gain everything.
Surprise, surprise. Honestly, Kishimoto could have nerfed the leaf-nin in some way.
Minato Namikaze , Hashirama Senju and Might Duy appeared in front of me.
