"No, I need to get home to my pet," Indigo declined.
"What a pity," I said. Indigo looked up at the sky, the white moon still hanging high.
"I'll get going now," She looked back at me, her jewelled blue eyes shining in the cold night. Her eyes staring at me filled with a deep longing, not for me but for something. I just couldn't put my finger on it.
"Okay," I waved her off, dragging my sword from the ground. I stabbed it into the ground, too tired to strap it to my back. "Hah....who knew she would be so strong," I whispered staring at my hand still spouting blood.
"You did well," Two people in black said from behind me. I turned my head to glance at them with disinterest.
"I don't get why you guys are so caught up in investigating her," I plopped on the ground. One of the two hooded people knelt beside me, bandaging my wounds.
"It was just a suspicion, and a suspicion well deserved," The other replied
"Why is that?"
"Haven't you heard of the mysterious killer in black who fights with a massive battle scythe?"
"Hmm?" I glimpsed up in interest.
"They never identified they're appearance or gender, but all they knew was that whenever they killed the bodies would be either cleaved in half or exploded form the insides,"
"So you suspect it's that little girl?" I grinned and asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Precisely,"
"Well, I'll write my report on her when I get back," I said and stood up after getting bandaged. "Also, since she beat me that thing is still in order right?"
"I'll talk to the higher-ups about it," They said in unison.
"You guys creep me out with that synced speaking," I scrunched my brows and said.

*At home*
"Ralphy BOYY!!" Someone shouted as I stepped inside my room. I groaned in pain, holding my head in pain as it knocked against the door I just barely closed before being tackled to the ground. My sword slipped from my grip. A deep rumble shot into the air, a deep crater left where my sword fell through the ground.
"Sally, how many times is this now? Our house won't last long with all these holes," I sighed, hugging the girl in my arms. She lifted her head from my chest exposing her round light blue eyes, and small pert nose sitting above her thin light pink lips. Her fire-red hair tied in pigtails cascaded to her shoulders.
"If it can't even handle this much, it's just a big baby!" She pouted.
"Sal Sal, how many times must I tell you, it's a house, not a person,"
"I don't care! It's a big baby!" She threw her arms around me, tightening her arms around my waist. I groaned in agony as she pressed my wound.
"Sal Sal, you're hurting me," I informed her with a thin sheet of sweat coating my back.
"This is punishment!" She yelled with a pout.
"Punishment for what now?" I asked with a tilt of my head.
"Leaving me for another girl for so long!"
"It was for work Sal Sal," I mumbled with a hand on my forehead.
"I don't care! Some girl is trying to steal you from me!" She pinched my side. My muscles tightened at the pain that shot through my body. "I'll put her in her place just you wait!"
"Sally! Don't!" She stood and pushed me back down as I tried to stumble to my feet.
"Humph, you can't stop me," She turned, her pigtails whipping around with her over-exaggerated movements. I sighed in defeat.
