Elize POV-
RECAP:
My tears dried, and my eyes were bloodshot and puffy but no longer filled with sadness but resolve. I needed to find that person, but I barely had any leads. I knew two things; they may like wearing black (Though it's just a wild guess) and their hair is silver, I found this when I say some strands of their hair peeking from their hood. The stature of the person seemed to be that of a girl, not mentioning the obvious pair of large bosoms that gave her away even though she wore a heavy cloak that wrapped her entire body.
With my search narrowed, I headed to the adventurer's guild, still covered in blood. Whoever that girl was she might be registered at the guild and I could get some information if not I would search the ends of the earth in search of that girl!
---------------------
I waltzed into the guild, heads snapped to me as they gawked at my bloody body. Silence fell, the soft creaking of the floorboards as I walked across it pounding into my ears. I walked to the lady at the front desk, pulling a stool out and plopping myself on it.
"Elize is that you?" Liz asked, uncertainty clear in her voice.
"Yeah, hey Liz. Can I get some milk," I tossed her a coin, she stumbled to catch it but once she did she went to the back and brought back a large wooden glass filled with frothy white goodness.
"Can you tell me why you're soaked in blood?" Liz asks. I ignore her chugging the milk down enjoying it as the cool sensation runs down my throat bringing life back to my parched tongue. Once done, I slammed the jug down and burped, a white moustache plastered above my lip. I let out a burp, "That was so good, milk's the best!" I rubbed my stomach in contentment.
"Elize what the hell is going on!?" seeing Liz impatient, I lean forward staring her dead in the eyes.
"Liz, Barnes is dead," I whispered she gasped in shock her eyes widening, she leaned back closer to me returning my gaze.
"Elize what is going on,"
"It was last night, so a girl with silver hair came and..." I relayed the story to her, holding back the sobs threatening to slip as I recalled Barnes' mangled body. In shock, Liz plopped into her chair, staring up at the ceiling wide-eyed.
"Serves that damn bastard right," She whispers.
"What did you say?" I inquired, not hearing what she said.
"Nothing, well do you know who did it?"
"No, that's why I came to ask you the only thing I know is that she has silver," I left out the part of her liking black as that was only a baseless assumption.
"Silver? That's a very rare colour," She taps her chin.
"That's why I wanted to ask did you see any silver-haired people recently.
"Well I did, there was this young girl she has silver hair that fades to black at the tips, quite odd if you ask me, she says she's from a rural village. She always wore black and God, she has a splendid figure," Liz made a bunch of curves in the air. I clenched my teeth and looked down at my flat chest. "I haven't seen her in a while though. She had a mishap in the forest, so she was taking a break from quests. She owes me money, though hope she doesn't run away," Liz rambled on, not noticing my darkening expression.
I widened my eyes and lowered them to the ground in contemplation, "Do you know anyone else with silver hair? And that girl you were talking about, do you know where she is now?"
"Well, there's Lily, that girl that ran away from Muse. Apart from Muse, I don't think you'll find anyone with silver hair, even in Muse it's a rarity. The girl's name is Indigo, and she is staying in an inn a few buildings down from here you can check there,"
"Thanks, Liz!" I waved goodbye and walked back out the guild heading to the inn she gave me directions to.
